This deli was such a big part of Port St. Lucie, and we love nothing more than to support small businesses. I will say, my favorite sandwich is, of course the Philly cheesesteak which is my go to every time. The first visit, I stood for over 10 minutes without a greeting, so I left. I thought I'd give it another shot, but again, I was ignored for another 10 minutes while waitstaff walked by, making eye contact but failing to acknowledge me. No "We'll be with you shortly," nothing. This is unacceptable service. I wanted to try their cheesesteak, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. Drink wise I got a classic Arnold Palmer for one visit, and a Virgin pina colada for the other. Both were good! I like my Arny P less sweet, and I love my pina coladas with a good amount of pineapple. For lunch the first time I got the Philly with the pineapple slaw, which is really something different compared to wherever else you can get a Philly. I just wasn't having it - the owner said he would look into it but also when I place to go orders I make the tip an exact even amount - whatever total they put into the system they added a $10+ tip... that was falsely put into the system by whoever put the ticket in. That is theft.
