Had a coupon so figured why not let's try this place for lunch. Upon my arrival, the people at the front were really nice and helpful with using the coupon. They smiled we had a good laugh! Inside was clean and modern with clean restrooms. I ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak and got french fries and a drink for free. I got the large one. I want to say it was $13.99. I even added some jalapeños, yummy! It came with all the toppings, including lettuce and tomato. They have steak sandwiches, veggie only and chicken. The food was delicious! I stopped in as i was looking for a decent cheesesteak in the PSL area. I have been to all the big names in Philly and im no expert but I understand what a quality cheesesteak is. The location was very clean and the young lady who took my order was very nice. I told her what I wanted and ordered the classic Wiz, Wit. It was what I was looking for. i paired it with fries and it was a good cheesesteak and i had the medium size and it filled me up. Overall a 4 IT was good but I have had better in Philadelphia. We've been to the one on Gatlin a few times. Each time we were very pleased. The first couple of times we had the old school cheesesteak. It was delicious. Next time we had the bacon 3 cheese. We loved it. The last time we had one of the limited special, the kimchi cheese steak. It was amazing. The flavor was so good and is a bit spicy and has sriracha Mayo which gives it a lot of spicy flavor. We like spicy. We get the large size combo and split it. There's plenty of meat on all their sandwiches. The service is quick and they split the sandwich for us and we each get our own basket. The fries are great. They are crispy but not over cooked. Charley's Cheesesteaks are good when they're good, but last time I had them I got severely sick. Another review has said they found a cockroach in their fries, which the store should be immediately sanitized. Good service, no complaints about the workers. Ambiance is uninspiring, but I'm not there to dine in rather take out. It's been a few months since I've returned but I'd like to give them another shot if they address the food quality. read more

Food wasn't bad, service was good. But, sitting inside the restaurant for 10 minutes waiting for my food left an awful smell on my clothes, skin and hair. I needed to take a shower to get the smell off of me. Seems that the restaurant should have better ventilation to get rid of these odors. Staff there has been kind and attentive. My first stop the food was a little underwhelming, but I came back a few times after and it had improved by a good margin.
