It took at least 30 minutes to make three subs. The owner was there from Long Island and refused to say high to a fellow Long Islander. And refused patrons bathroom usage, Next door dunking donuts allowed people to use their bathroom. As far as I am concerned I will never come back to this establishment. read more

Nice people. Nice place. They put a lot of meat on there that's for sure... but it was too much meat. We wanted subs, and we got something we had to eat with forks because the bread was just so overwhelmed by the meat that you couldn't pick it up. And it lacked flavor. Tasted like... well, a lot of meat. My suggestion to the chef: 1) cut back on the meat. Balance is important with subs. 2) Take us to Flavor Town. A little salt and pepper, garlic and onion... not too much. But to taste. Or maybe some "Signature Sauces" customers can taste test first and choose? 3) let your identity be in the balance of flavor and something unique (Signature Sauces?), not how much meat you put on the bread. Soup of the day was chicken noodle and you could tell this was a family recipe. The sandwiches were packed with pastrami and corned beef and delicious. The Owner came out and talked with us for a bit and hope he does well. The only ding keeping them from a 5 star was the apparent lack of experience the young man taking orders had and hope he gets better as time goes on. read more

This place will not disappoint. Sandwiches are loaded with meat. All is super fresh. If you're in a hurry then this place is not for you. They take their time with the orders. I rather that, than been rushed and making the order all wrong and sloppy. I also had a side of fries; now the fries did not impressed me, nothing out of the ordinary. In all fairness I took my food to go, so by the time I arrived home my fries were soggy. My Sister had the Pastrami and she said it was great. Their sandwiches are huge. I ate three times out of my sandwich. Not kidding! Anyway, great place for lunch!! I'll definitely will return. read more

Stopped in for lunch and was seriously impressed! The Classic Italian Sub was packed with flavor, super fresh, and made with top-quality Boar's Head meats. Loved the crunchy Brickman's kettle chips and the creamy potato salad on the side. It's great having a local spot like this serving up authentic, satisfying subs. We stopped here before heading to the beach, and it did not disappoint! We're from out of town, and the staff made us feel right at home with super friendly service. I got the turkey club with fresh avocado (not that premade guac -- the real deal!) and it was loaded with turkey and so fresh. My boyfriend ordered the Reuben, and it was massive and packed with flavor. Highly recommend this spot, especially if you're grabbing food for a boat day or beach day. Great portions, great quality, and great people. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Fort Pierce! read more

Improve your speed of service. I've been twice and waited over 15 minutes after ordering for a simple sandwich. This last time, I asked if they had tuna salad, was told yes, so I ordered and paid. 15 minutes later I see the clerk opening a huge can of tune and asked her if that was going to be made into salad for my sandwich. When she said yes, I said I did not have more time to wait, and asked if I could have a meatball sub instead. Answer, out of meatballs. I was then told I could have a chicken cutlet sub, but that too would take another 30 minutes. Needing to leave, I asked for a refund since nothing had been created for me. It took everyone in the place to figure out how to credit my charge. Bottom line, go at your own risk and have a good 45 minutes to wait for it. read more

Friendly hard working people that care about the food they are putting out. I had the London broil sub cheese melted. FANTASTIC. My friend had the Rueben that was also huge and FANTASTIC. We got the combo which included a half sour pickle that was a nice change from the normal pickles that everyone else has. This place is 30 minutes from my house and I will not hesitate to go back whenever I want another great sub. read more

If you are hungry...do not go there. I ordered a simple hot pastrami on rye with mustard on the phone at 11:10. They said 20 minutes. Ok. 11:30 I get there and it's not ready. Ok. 11:45...still not ready. Ok...I'm patient. Finally I see them wrapping a Reuben and ..yup! They call my name. "That is not mine. I ordered a simple hot pastrami on rye with mustard." Apologies that the gal making it was new. Huh? And you weren't watching what she was doing? Ok. So now it's 12:15 and they call my name but this time I couldn't see them making the sandwich. Believing they made it right the second time I brought it home to my husband who unwrapped it and sighed...they melted cheese on it!!!!! Couldn't even take the cheese off!! He ate half and threw the other half out. A total waste of $16. It's a shame. They have a good product but they really have to get their act together. And the coup de gras??? I called them to tell them about the mistake and they had their answering machine on??? What business does that during the busiest time of their day?? read more
