Don't know what's up with the negative reviews but this place always treats me right. The sandwiches are great, the fries cooked perfectly and the staff is nice and respectful. Staff gets treated like garbage. The man apparently in charge for this shift yells to his employee with a disability: "put this food in a bag, so you can be useful for the first time in your life!" Doubled down and repeated it when it wasn't heard the first time. Tripled down and continued yelling when the employee lightly protested. Your managers need more training on how to treat people. Even if you have a issue with how an employee works, that's not how you go about it. read more

The food was good but the customer service was questionable. The person at the register named May was Pleasant and rang up my order correctly, a cheesesteak and teriyaki chicken. the back made two teriyaki chickens by mistake and May ask the worker with the weave and fake eyelashes if she could just give me the extra teriyaki. May and I both looked at her to wait for the answer, the worker looked at me and rudely said did you pay for it? I was not asking for the teriyaki for free it was May who asked her, when I tried to explain she was combative rude and did not understand and she said it was Covid reasons, she could not give it away, but I did not ask for it!!! and what does throwing food in the garbage they made a mistake on have to do with Covid? they're not giving it away to a stranger they would've given it to me, anyway. read more

The cashier was very friendly. She pointed me to the assembly station and the girl in front of me was being yelled at for walking away because they couldn't make her order. Maybe the girl didn't know she had to wait ‍. Somehow they managed to mess up my order right in front of me and then had an attitude when I politely corrected it. I said everything i didn't want in it at the register. She said I can tell them at the next part of the line. I said only lettuce and tomato to one of the line cooks. He said, "you told me lettuce and mayo" I see how they sound very similar but the customer is always right and I said tomato. I HATE mayonnaise. He didn't yell like the other cook but he said something under his breath and showed it in his body language that he was very annoyed. So, I had food from here today, for the first time, and I don't think I'm going to eat from here from now on. The service was okay (not really much to report here) I ordered two philly cheesesteaks and two regular fries for me and my cousin. The process of receiving my food was easy and fast. But when I opened my box I immediately realized I didn't receive my fries so I had to go back to Charley's from outside just to get them. After asking for my fries I looked in the bag and saw that the fries were just thrown in there with the cup the fires are supposed to be in. I walk back to my cousin and checked inside my box and saw that my sandwich was also thrown in there without a care, it was practically falling apart. But I still ate it cause I'm Gen Z and I don't know how to act in situations like this. This taste of the food was aight, it was average tasting in my opinion. It wasn't bad but it wasn't really good either. So I don't have photos of my food cause i didn't think I would have to write this but yeah. Overall I just didn't like how (excuse my language) half-assed the deliverance was of my food and how expensive it was for something so small and not as good as I assumed. read more

It was my first time getting a sandwich from here. Not only did they mess up my order ( I ordered no onions and they gave me onions and mushrooms ) but they girl who took my order rolled her eyes at me. It also took them almost 20 min just to make my sandwich, if I was working I'm pretty sure I would've been late and not have eating my sandwich. Four months ago I commented here complaining that Charley's in Woodbridge Mall ran out of food on a busy holiday weekend afternoon. Today I returned and ordered a Cheese steak combo only I can't have a combo due to them running out of fries. What is it with this place? Why do they run out of food? Its Saturday afternoon. Wasn't bad. Manager was working the grill and he was cheap with the steak. Not really pizza shop quality.

Placed looked good on a little afternoon date through the mall, and hadnt had a cheesesteak for awhile so I went for it..Cashiers were great and it is nice to see them cook the food in front of you, but the chicken thrown on the grill looked like thinly sliced bologna (it did NOT look like chicken) but it eventually whitened out. The service model is a little interesting too as you then need to say what you want on it after its cooked, (little odd when there is a big line). Overall, I ordered a nine inch chicken cheesesteak, which looked incredibly small, and had very little meat. Four bites and the thing was gone. The overall quality was good, but for the lack of quantity and the lack of perceived ingredients, I think I will spend my 8 bucks somewhere else next time.. read more

Came here on a weekday afternoons in the summer. They were moderately busy but not too bad. They took my order quickly and food was ready fast and in front of me. Pretty decent cheese steak for Mall food. Only giving 4 stars because I stopped in a few weeks ago and their card machine was down and could only take cash. Service was fine not too bad. read more

I was so excited to find a charley's just open at the mall! Normally love there food and the line for Chick Fil A was way to long and didn't want to wait forever. After getting a buffalo chicken cheese steak(more like buffalo cheese sammie since there was barely any chicken) but whatever I'm not a complainer ill take it. It was until I was home opened my other order, a regular philly cheese steak and began eating. Soon enough I found a long black hair cooked into the sandwich. Then i easily remembered ohhh there cooked and everyone that worked there..did not have hairnets on. kind of gross, not to mention the customer service was well lacking to say the least and the wait was forever. Honestly I am not the type to leave reciews and complain but in this case I just have to. I understand theyre newly open but there are a lot of things that need serious work. I am a mall employee and I often enjoy charleys when im at menlo mall (they are a well oiled machine). The new one in woodbridge had us all excited for a new food spot. Out of the 4 times ive eaten there so far 2 time my fries have been raw. each cashier ive had (all different) dont seem to know what theyre doing and everytime I ask for something they repeat it back to me differently than I asked for. When you're waiting for your meal there is no designation and no direction people are just all over the place. While i was ordering i had people reach over me 4/5 times to reach for straws that are no where near where the people are. Finally annoyed i moved them to the other side of me and the cashier got annoyed with me doing so. Im sorry but i dont feel like having. People in my face every 3 second for a straw. Normally I would just brush it off as new store jitters but there is a serious lack of organization to this entire place. Its really discouraging and frustrating when you just wanna get your food before break is over. Its not worth the hassle. read more
