Another thing I noticed is that the place always seems understaffed. Every time I stopped in, it looked like only one or two people were trying to handle everything, so service could be a little slow. Not terrible by any means, but for the price point I expected a little more. Right now, I'd probably still choose Jersey Mike's over Capriotti's.

The MINI- 4-5 inches, the SMALL-8 inches, the MEDIUM- 10 inches, Large- 18 inches known as the "NOTORIOUS". I ordered two MEDIUM subs both were 10 inches. I chose to try their CLASSIC ITALIAN SUB, with lettuce, tomato, a little mayo and a little oil and vinegar. I also get banana peppers on my subs, they didn't have any. I also ordered Roast Beef and American Cheese , Lettice, Tomato, Mayo and a Little Oil and Vinegar. Again, no banana peppers. I was very surprised they didn't have any banana peppers. Most sub shops offer them. They claim to roast their meats in-house. I found their meats didn't have a lot of flavor. Their bread is baked by the Great Buns Bakery. It was decent, but I found it was very narrow compared to most sub shops. The staff was nice, but worked very slow to make two subs. It was $37 for two MEDIUM 10 inch subs, and 2 bags of chips no drinks. I found out that each franchise location can charge whatever they want base price depending upon where they're located. Some areas like Warren charge more than others. The ambience is cool. The walls have pics of different types of subs. They have seating for eating in. There's a lot of warm wood all around which makes it inviting. I will give them another try but to be honest, not my favorite place and I'm local.

Ham & Cheese: The bread is soft, and the American cheese is good. However, the ham is a little too salty for me. Chicken Parm: The chicken is soft topped off with the marinara sauce. The cheese is melted on top of the chicken. Chicken cheesesteak: They make the best chicken cheesesteak here and is by far one of the best that I have ever tried. The chicken is cooked to perfection with the onions and green peppers. The melted Swiss cheese and ketchup makes this sub even better. Honey turkey: The honey turkey sub is made to perfection. The bread is soft, the honey turkey is delicious and when it is topped off with lettuce, tomato, mayo and banana peppers. Mac Salad: The mac salad is good and does not taste salty or anything. Overall: This is one of the best sub shops in Edison, and I have made this sub shop my weekly routine for lunch. I will most likely keep coming here and try out the other subs and menu items.

Going to the tablet there were a good number of disparities from the posted menu on the wall, most of which may have been the same, but were unclear from their descriptions. Things just didn't match up, and that included the prices of things. The board read $3 to make a combo, but the tablet had it at $5.50 for example. The descriptions of the burgers didn't fully describe what was in the burgers as they had on the board, which we have already determined to be dubious. I managed to ask someone for help when they were serving someone else. I found out the burgers use American cheese and so I wanted to substitute. Apparently the solution was to mark "no cheese" and "extra cheddar cheese" which adds another $2.50 to the total. Add-ons have now increased the price by $8! The burger started at $13.50. At this point I get my food and the flavor is good enough, but while the menu board advertised short rib and lamb, it was indistinguishable from ground beef, and I'm unsure if I just got well-done ground beef. The seasoned fries were very plain tasting. I couldn't taste any seasoning on them at all actually, but they were crispy. When you end up pay $25 for a middle of the road burger with fries and a drink at what should be a quick lunch spot, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth, fortunately not literally. The meal was worth maybe half the price, but I likely won't be coming back to give it that second chance, which is unfortunate considering the other high reviews.

The interior is small, and there are a couple tables for eat-in. There's a lottery machine. Marco's also sells a variety of prepackaged chips, snacks, and bottled beverages, as well as fresh coffee. You can park on the street for free.
