Location North Jacksonville off Old Kings and Dunn…read moreAvenue-near the airport Parking Large open lot Atmosphere Classy/ boutique farm Seating Okay-I didn't take a star off BUT-the seats are too high for the table skirt-I could not get my legs under the table and I am petite. Are people sitting side saddle? My daughter is small but put her legs down. Our friend pushed out away from the table. Otherwise, they have long tables-great for groups, high top tables for 2-inside/outside, rockets, cushy lawn chairs by fire pits. So relaxing. Service So friendly, attentive Menu What I love is the changing seasonal menu. If you had the broccoli corn bread-you will love the maycaw cornbread-C and P farm is the largest producer of maycaws in the world-fun fact! It is sweet, dense, corny taste-yum! Served with sweet fresh butter that is air light! We had the lamb sandwich served with a side. I wondered at first glance at the lamb-kind of a lam loaf-not like a gyro, served with mint and something else on the most AMAZING wheat bun!! The sauce-not typical tziziki but really delish. I chose the squash which was sautéed with dill-not my fav but the squash was cooked perfectly. We also had the shrimp and grits-a Jax fav that consistently pleases. Our friend had the chicken with heat sandwich-toasted bun, house pickles/many, slivers of onion, battered chicken breast, with a douse of hot sauce. If you like the heat-this is your sandwich-served with medium sliced fries. Very tasty. There is a separate dessert menu but we were full-satisfied. Re: drinks-house beers, ciders, iced tea-no lemonade, aske for 2 carafes of water as the glasses are on the small size. Note Walk the farm-see the animals, landscape-great walk after or before a meal. Think about wedding or special occasion spot. Summary This is our fav go to place to est esp when headed to the airport-very chill vibe, outstanding food, great service. Love this place!

We ordered some deviled eggs for appetizers. And we had the Portobello Mac n Cheese and Angel's Pork Sammie. The Portobello Mushroom Mac had garlic mixed with sautéed mushrooms and onions. Great combination. The small portion is enough for two people. I believe bread comes with it, but we didn't get any. We also enjoyed the Angel's Pork Sammie. The pork was slow cooked served on a toasted ciabatta with melted provolone, house made slaw and pico and I drizzled some 49's Cowboy sauce which I had on the side. So good. But for $11.99, it should have come with a side of fries or maybe a small side of their naked Mac. Nonetheless our dinner was great. Friendly owners. We will definitely be back for more.

The menu looked really good but my options were limited as I decided to cut way down on carbs from wheat and root veggies. I know you see my photos so let me explain myself. The mac and cheese and the sandwiches were not even a consideration. Tacos? Nope. However the Healthy Bowls seemed ok. I chose the Chicken Ranch Bowl mainly for the pulled chicken and the bacon, two proteins I love. The hard part was choosing between the side of Garlic Mash or Tangy Slaw. Shouldn't be eating potatoes but I definitely don't agree with raw cabbage. I figured I could eat a little of it I'd be ok. I would also receive a bit of a discount if I ordered a certain amount so I threw in an order of 5 deviled eggs. Ordered, received and everything looked delicious. The eggs taste similar to mine except for the extra paprika. That appears to make a huge difference. The bowl was pretty tasty! I really liked the tomato and parsley accent/garnish on the side. The mash taters were buttery and I had to remind myself several times of my goal because I wanted to eat it all. The chicken was just ok but the ranch and bacon made it a lot better. I'd order from them again but probably when I can eat carbs again. Their Mac and Cheese looks amazing.

Things that stood out to me upon entry included its large interior that's spread out with a nice variety of seating and sections. The full service bar was active with people who seemed to know each other pretty well. In addition, it was busy during the visit on a weekday that usually is a slower day for a restaurant. I did notice and liked the art on the wall and knew I'd find it a nice place to visit during CFB and the NFL season. With all that said, I also found the service here to be solid. Stephanie is as good as any veteran server I've experienced. Her knowledge of the popular items was sharp and everything we ordered was as good as she said it would be. I also liked that she would still visit our table regularly even during the rush hour time frame. Another area in which I was highly impressed was the value of what you order, at least in way of the sandwiches. I ordered a fish sandwich that would make a Micky-D's fish sandwich look like a minnow! It was large on a softer white bun. The fish (I cannot recall what kind) was very tender and everything really blended together with it (the tomatoes, lettuce, pickles), especially after I added the tartar sauce. My meal included coleslaw - a very well-prepped popular style version. I could've taken some of this meal home, but it was so good that I pushed my way through it! My Dearest chose the Rueben sandwich. A superb choice! Again, the sandwich is large, made of the normal rye bread, thousand island, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and sliced corned beef. She chose the fries with it, but I'll admit that those could have been a little fresher/hotter. Seemed they sat in the fryer bin for a little too long. But the sandwich itself was great! I ate half of it the next day and I do appreciate that Jerry's uses a high quality corned beef brand - very little fat on the meat. It was a great visit and I will add one more positive thing that will attract people to Jerry's Grille. That is, the value of what you get is just about the best I've seen from a restaurant in quite a while. Usually when I go out, dinners for two are over $40 for us, not including the tip. This dinner at Jerry's with our two (large) sandwiches, fries, coleslaw, and beverages, landed at $34, not including the tip - I was impressed and it helped me increase our tip to the server! I would only say that Jerry's Grille looks a little oldish inside and perhaps could use some renovation/updating of the interior. Though I like the art and the monitors, its classic look has aged to a point, in my own view, that calls for some new wall dressing and painting. But still, I would come here anytime to eat - very comfortable and enjoyable place to visit for dinner! Recommend - HIGH

One side was the grilled vegetables, and they were very good to my surprise. We split the fried zucchini appetizer, and it was enough for the table of five. Bottom line the food is good and fresh. I'm glad they have the fried zucchini on the menu and will definitely order it again!

I ordered the lamb chops with shrimp fried ricm4 and cheese and mashed potatoes. I know it sounds like a crazy combination but I don't 4 like to spend money on vegetables when I'm out to eat. Especially when I already have some cooked at home and I know I'm going home to eat my meal. The lamb chops combination comes with yellow seasoned rice but a lot of people talk about the fried rice and how amazing it is so I went for the upgrade. I believe it was an additional $3 for the shrimp fried rice instead of the yellow rice. I placed my order and went out to my truck to wait for a while. The food took about 20-25 minutes to prepare. Inside the building was clean and neat but there weren't a lot of tables set up for restaurant style seating. They have high tables with chairs but I think they only had three tables so this is more of a take and go kind of spot. The lady who took my order was kind and very patient while my indecisive self decided what I wanted to try. Everything was delicious. The meal came with some kind of sauce that Im assuming went with the rice but I didn't even use because it was perfect without it. The lamb chops were tender and full of flavor. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were on point as well. The meal was $47! Which definitely seems like a lot but for the amount of food and the quality, I would say it's worth it. There is enough food to eat the meal for two days or split it between two people. Of course I would like to pay less but I also believe it was worth every penny. I will be back again, just more prepared to spend that kind of money. The next time Im craving lamb chops, this will definitely be my go to!

Parking was a bit hard with so many people especially around beach area. The wait was around 20-30 mins and we were seated on the patio, the place was packed and super busy, so it's a bit loud to try to have conversation. The staff were great and the menu had a great vegan section too. It was a bit cold on the patio, so we started with some hot lattes which was decent. Also got pancakes & bacons, vegan mexicali wrap and size of haus fried (potatoes cubes). Portion size was huge, we could only finish half the food. Everything was delicious & if you get the vegan mexicali wrap, 100% would recommend trying with the hot sauce with it. Food and staff were great, but I am not sure if it was worth 20-30 mins wait and the hassle of parking. Would definitely go back but will not be a regular place for us!
