Jaxbeach Brunch Haus is the best Brunch Haus in Jacksonville, bar none. If you don't believe me go there on a Saturday or Sunday, the wait times are about 45 minutes to an hour. That tells you something. The menus wide and deep. You can do a simple fruit salad, or you can do a massive steak and eggs course. And you can build your brunch too! The food is incredible, beverages are plenty, the vibe is lively, and the service is top-notch. And if you tell Dan, it's your birthday, he might just sing you happy birthday in Italian! Came here for weekend brunch. Tried to make a reservation but they don't take any so we just had to show up and wait. Parking was a bit hard with so many people especially around beach area. The wait was around 20-30 mins and we were seated on the patio, the place was packed and super busy, so it's a bit loud to try to have conversation. The staff were great and the menu had a great vegan section too. It was a bit cold on the patio, so we started with some hot lattes which was decent. Also got pancakes & bacons, vegan mexicali wrap and size of haus fried (potatoes cubes). Portion size was huge, we could only finish half the food. Everything was delicious & if you get the vegan mexicali wrap, 100% would recommend trying with the hot sauce with it. Overall, the food was very good and there was no wait. When we first arrived, it was problematic that I asked for a booth seat for our party of 6 because the booth seats are tables. I said we could do tables next to each other and the hostess was very unhappy at the suggestion. It was awkward, but my young son was starting a new medication and feeling very unwell and needed the ability to lay down. We were traveling for spring break and didn't have an option except to eat out. It started our breakfast off a little rough. Things got a lot better after this experience. Our server was really great and our food was so good. The pancakes are giant - all the portions are. I had my first Vietnamese iced coffee and it was very good. Conveniently located within a couple blocks of the Jacksonville Beach. Location is everything, and made this place popping on a Sunday around 1pm. My coworker and I ordered drinks via the scanned QR menu, and appreciate this option as the wait was estimated at 1 hour. Either it was the Bloody Mary or it went by quicker, but it didn't feel like that long of a wait. When seated, we noticed this place was fairly small and personally, noisier than I prefer. Thankfully, we were seated in a corner so it made it less busy/noisy. Both my coworker and I decided to try the Benedict of the Day. I didn't realize the price and was shocked it was $32 as that seems wild to be $30+ for a brunch dish, though I recognize it was a filet. My coworker asked to have it cooked to medium well, and was advised it could only be medium rare or medium at best. For that price point, I would think it could be made to order. Outside of preferred temperature, it had a good flavor though I think $25-27 would be more appropriate for a brunch price point. All in all, the server was friendly and the food was good albeit overpriced in our opinion. We would return, but order differently. read more

My plate came with the yummiest grits that had bacon sprinkled in along with the scrambled eggs and cheese on top. I also had a side of sourdough toast and a side of haus fries. Parking can be tricky but we found one on 3rd street out front, Nice looking restaurant inside, it was pretty busy inside so service was a little slow especially when we were waiting on our check for a while. I tried the biscuits and gravy minus the green onions and crumbled bacon since I wanted bacon strips instead. And a side of scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious. We were headed over to A1A for another event and decided to give this place a try for lunch today. It was extremely crowded upon our arrival and they told us it would be about a 15 minute wait. Turns out it was only a 7 minute wait so that was nice. Service was also quick from our waitress with both our drinks and our food. The menu is extensive with plenty of both breakfast and lunch options. I opted for the reuben sandwich. Side options include chips, fries, cucumber salad, or one other item. I wanted to find a place that catered to vegans since my friend is one. They had a whole vegan page, which was great. This had to be a popular place because as we were pulling up to find parking, the parking lot was full of people waiting outside. After parking. We walked up to have our names put in a list. While you waited, they had a drink menu for you to order. The wait was shorter than was time we were given. Once inside, the atmosphere was very beachy, but cute. Hubby and I planned a brunch date at Jax Beach Brunch Haus on a Friday morning. They were fairly busy but we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. Their menu is quite extensive and there are tons of possibilities. From cocktails and coffee bar options to build your own brunch and a large vegan menu. I decided on the super sunrise sampler with over medium eggs, Texas smoked bacon, rye toast and cheese grits. Hubby ordered the farm fresh hash with a side of Franco fried Texas toast. Everything was delicious! The smoked bacon was perfectly cooked. I loved the cheese grits. My meal was simple but executed very well. Hubby really enjoyed his farm fresh hash with the juicy chicken chunks and creamy goat cheese crumbles. The real standout of the day was the Franco fried Texas toast. OMG this was phenomenal! Finally made it in after having JBBH on my list for a while. We had a busy morning and didn't arrive until after 1pm so we tried not to spend too much time choosing what to order. Lots of great reviews and photos online which helped. We both got the Super Sunrise Sampler with a pancake but different sides. We also got a Split Open and Melt (half avocado, poached egg, melted cheese and pico de gallo) to share. The side of root hash had good flavor but was cold. The pico on the Split Open and Melt was really good but, overall, we weren't impressed with it. It was quite busy (but that was expected) and the host was super nice and gave us the option to sit at the bar to avoid the wait. I'm glad we did as the bartender Carly was phenomenal. The menu was filled with a variety of options so I will definitely be back to try some more of their dishes. I had the French toast with a berry compote on the side and it was super good (extremely filling) and crispy yet soft on the inside. I also ordered a side of home fries and added cheese, onions, and peppers and those were seasoned perfectly and crispy yet soft on the inside as well. My breakfast companion had the shrimp, eggs, and grits for their meal and it was soooooo good as I stole a couple bites from their plate. I also had an iced matcha latte which was good as well! We tried JBBH for the first time on busy New Years Day, and put our name on the list as first available. There's a QR code posted for ordering drinks online while you wait, and since it was chilly we started with a coffee and hot chocolate, brought out to us pretty quickly. After a 30 minute wait, we were seated at the bar with multiple bartenders to take care of us. They offered suggestions, were friendly and quick to respond. We both chose a hash, one with regular potatoes and one with sweet, and one with the Mexicali and one with the BBQ. My egg over medium was definitely over easy, the only miss. But it was all so good otherwise. We also both wanted to try the French toast, so swapped our bread side for a piece of that, and the flash fried bites were incredible. The spicy Bloody Mary was the perfect mix of spice for flavor without a burn. There are other things we definitely plan to come back and try. read more

Got there about 8:15-8:30 (shortly after opening) and we were seated immediately. Our server was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. The service was extremely fast today which was nice with kids. Kids meals are affordable: $7 for an entree, side, and drink. We ordered a bottle of champagne ($28) and got 4 mimosas out of it which was more cost effective than individual ($8.50). For entrees, we ordered the Parisian omelette with a side of haus fries (loaded with peppers, onions, and cheese) and the super veggie omelette (add bacon) with fruit and toast. Everything tasted great and portion sizes were good. Plenty of food. They also have a full espresso bar so I ordered an iced honey D latte to go, yum!! For mimosas, a latte, 2 kids meals, and my entree, it was around $50 plus tip so not horrible for this current market. The inside is decorated well and has a casual vibe.
