My daughter picked here for her birthday brunch since neither of us had been and we did not regret it. We were told it would be a 25-30 minute wait but we're happily seated only 5 minutes later. The service was friendly and fast. Our food arrived quickly. I ordered a basic breakfast of bacon and eggs with a hauscake. The eggs were done perfectly just the way I like them, soft scrambled and not dry. The hauscake (pancake) was among the best I've had and I've eaten a lot of breakfasts lol. My daughter who is not a usual fan of pancakes even enjoyed it. I also ordered the Cuban sandwich to go for my husband and he said it was the best one he's had...along with a few expletives as he ate . Best brunch in the area by far.
we came here for a Friday Brunch. Service was incredible. We ordered the beignets, Cuban sandwiches, Shrimps and Grits and a Tofu Scramble with a pancake on the side. Everything was excellent.
We came for brunch on a Friday morning and were seated right away with no wait. The service was on point and the food was amazing. My companion got the shrimp, eggs and grits bowl and devoured it. I got the San Fran Benni. The hollandaise was definitely one of the best I've had. My cappuccino was perfect. Would love to come back to try the cocktails next time in Jacksonville.
The food is good but not great. The service, (Andy) was great. The ambience is country kitchen. Close but not too close. All in all pretty good. The pricing is what you might expect by the beach.
I went with my mom for brunch and everything was amazing. We were immediately greeted by cheerful staff and were able to be seated right away. Our waitress, Sam, was awesome. We ordered coffee and I try to limit dairy so always ask if there are plant based options for cream. They have both coconut and oat milk as plant based options for a .50 charge. We ordered ours with oat milk. To eat we got the omelette Steakhaus style which was an omelette with steak, mushrooms, caramelized onion, and horseradish. We also ordered the Super Veggie Tofu Scramble. Both dishes were so good. They were clearly made fresh with quality ingredients. The veggie tofu scramble has so many amazing flavors you could taste, including turmeric, and they all blended so well. The filet in the steak omelette was cooked just right and very tender. The caramelized onion created a tasty sauce for the mushroom and steak and the horseradish drizzle gave it the perfect bite. While we were there a couple ordered a bottle of bubbly and it was brought to them by the waiter singing beautiful opera. Such a sweet touch. He then sat at the piano and sang while playing Hallelujah. It was a great brunch experience. I'll be back! So many things on the menu to try and the service is top notch.
JBBH always meets and exceeds expectations. The options are plentiful and everything tastes amazing. Our server was attentive to our slow moving group this morning without being obsequious. And the RBG pic on the wall is hysterical.

It was very organized and I love the fact you can place an order for a drink while you wait outside! The service was quick once I was sat. The mermaid macchiato was so delicious, I drank it so quickly! The eggs benni were tasty as well as the haus fries. The wait time can get long, and the parking very full but worth it!
Conveniently located within a couple blocks of the Jacksonville Beach. Location is everything, and made this place popping on a Sunday around 1pm. My coworker and I ordered drinks via the scanned QR menu, and appreciate this option as the wait was estimated at 1 hour. Either it was the Bloody Mary or it went by quicker, but it didn't feel like that long of a wait. When seated, we noticed this place was fairly small and personally, noisier than I prefer. Thankfully, we were seated in a corner so it made it less busy/noisy. Both my coworker and I decided to try the Benedict of the Day. I didn't realize the price and was shocked it was $32 as that seems wild to be $30+ for a brunch dish, though I recognize it was a filet. My coworker asked to have it cooked to medium well, and was advised it could only be medium rare or medium at best. For that price point, I would think it could be made to order. Outside of preferred temperature, it had a good flavor though I think $25-27 would be more appropriate for a brunch price point. All in all, the server was friendly and the food was good albeit overpriced in our opinion. We would return, but order differently.
Jax Beach place to have brunch! The have been visiting Brunch Haus for years and my experience has always been wonderful. The menu is diverse offering vegetarian and vegan options. The staff is always friendly. In my recent visit a server jumped in the piano and the restaurant joined into a Happy Birthday to a guest. Si much fun! I missed pics of the food but managed a pic of their delicious Bloody Mary!

Brunch date with my hubby! Biscuits and Gravy, shrimp and grits, a pancake and some cocktails! Everything was delicious and we cleared our plates. My only negative is my drink was two sweet and my husband's old fashion was too strong. We changed our drinks out twice and they were too much for us that we left them. Other than that, everything was amazing!
You can't go wrong with a benni here! The poached egg is cooked to perfection. The service is a bit slow but they're busy, so I get it. The vibes remind me of an old diner, but in a setting of a small restaurant. It's definitely a Jax Beach staple!

Great Breakfast spot! All the food ordered was amazing and served quickly, the staff were super friendly, they have a vegan menu section with great options (including side options like pancakes, French toast). They also have a full bar and bar seating. We went on Sunday and they also had live music :) The restaurant has inside and outdoor seating, there is no option for reservations. Once you walk up they put you on the list, which a 1.5hr wait could be advised but I think they move you faster than that I think bc their food service is quick. All parties must be present to be seated. If you have time to wait for a table definition worth it! read more
Came here for weekend brunch. Tried to make a reservation but they don't take any so we just had to show up and wait. Parking was a bit hard with so many people especially around beach area. The wait was around 20-30 mins and we were seated on the patio, the place was packed and super busy, so it's a bit loud to try to have conversation. The staff were great and the menu had a great vegan section too. It was a bit cold on the patio, so we started with some hot lattes which was decent. Also got pancakes & bacons, vegan mexicali wrap and size of haus fried (potatoes cubes). Portion size was huge, we could only finish half the food. Everything was delicious & if you get the vegan mexicali wrap, 100% would recommend trying with the hot sauce with it. Food and staff were great, but I am not sure if it was worth 20-30 mins wait and the hassle of parking. Would definitely go back but will not be a regular place for us! read more

We had an incredibly delicious brunch at Jax Beach Brunch Haus. My shrimp eggs grits plate came with blacked shrimp and was exceptional. My plate came with the yummiest grits that had bacon sprinkled in along with the scrambled eggs and cheese on top. I also had a side of sourdough toast and a side of haus fries. I'd love to revisit this place since I saw so many things I wanted to try here at this place. It was a busy Saturday but we got in with only a 5 minute wait, they kept the coffee refills coming and the restaurant had a really cool look and modern vibe. read more

Our waitress Taylor was a delight! The staff is efficient, wonderful and fun. Finally we got a REAL omelet and thank you Jax Beach for knowing how to make one. This place is a win win! The drink menu is tantalizing and the food menu has too many options. The cheese grits are flavorful and comforting. The blueberry pancakes are massive and make you moan from the flavor. You don't need syrup. If we make back to this area we will definitely come here! The restaurant has plenty of seating with lots of colorful stimulus. A first time visit here wasn't disappointing at all. Looked really busy for a July 5th day. Was seated rather quickly. Parking can be tricky but we found one on 3rd street out front, Nice looking restaurant inside, it was pretty busy inside so service was a little slow especially when we were waiting on our check for a while. I tried the biscuits and gravy minus the green onions and crumbled bacon since I wanted bacon strips instead. And a side of scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious. The biscuit had a nice slightly crunchy exterior and fluffy interior and the sausage gravy was spot on. It's definitely worth a return visit. read more

Let's start with the location. Fantastic. This place NEVER disappoints. The owner Dan runs a great establishment. He cares for the staff, you can tell how loyal they are to him. They are always busy, so get there early. First come first served. The ambiance is great. A good energy spot. They have a lot of cool brunch options. Their Benedict's are phenomenal. I always get the eggs, fruit, bacon, and blueberry pancakes. Ahhhhmazing! So, if you order a bottle of champagne for mimosas, or if it's your birthday (or any special occasion. Dan will come out singing in Italian. He's a classically trained opera singer, and a talented pianist. We love this place. read more
We were headed over to A1A for another event and decided to give this place a try for lunch today. It was extremely crowded upon our arrival and they told us it would be about a 15 minute wait. Turns out it was only a 7 minute wait so that was nice. Service was also quick from our waitress with both our drinks and our food. The menu is extensive with plenty of both breakfast and lunch options. I opted for the reuben sandwich. Side options include chips, fries, cucumber salad, or one other item. I chose the cucumber salad, which also had tomatoes and onions in it. My husband had the chicken croissant sandwich. The ambiance is busy and loud. read more

The food was so so good. The price for my breakfast sandwich was super reasonable and the proportions were super big. The staff was very friendly and the wait time wasn't bad. The food came out almost immediately after we ordered. We sat inside and it was very cozy but the seats were closer to other tables than I would have liked. The Nutella frappe was really good! I had heard this place was good but a rarely get to the beach anymore but today I got to finally try it. Atmosphere is a fun hip vibe. So many fun cocktails and coffee drinks. Then there is the food. We got the Brinch Hause Banini and the daily banini which was shirt rib. Both were awesome. Sam was a great server and gave us great recommendations! read more

I wanted to find a place that catered to vegans since my friend is one. They had a whole vegan page, which was great. This had to be a popular place because as we were pulling up to find parking, the parking lot was full of people waiting outside. After parking. We walked up to have our names put in a list. While you waited, they had a drink menu for you to order. The wait was shorter than was time we were given. Once inside, the atmosphere was very beachy, but cute. It was very small inside, so I'm assuming that's why the parking is usually crowded. They also have a patio area, which was full. I ordered shrimp and grits. They were flavorful. The coffee was amazing--I had the (2) cinnamon latte specials. The food was good, and I really enjoyed brunch. Our server, Emily N., was great and gave excellent recommendations. I also enjoyed catching up over breakfast with my coworker. I'd love to do it again! read more

Hubby and I planned a brunch date at Jax Beach Brunch Haus on a Friday morning. They were fairly busy but we only waited about 15 minutes for a table. Their menu is quite extensive and there are tons of possibilities. From cocktails and coffee bar options to build your own brunch and a large vegan menu. I decided on the super sunrise sampler with over medium eggs, Texas smoked bacon, rye toast and cheese grits. Hubby ordered the farm fresh hash with a side of Franco fried Texas toast. Everything was delicious! The smoked bacon was perfectly cooked. I loved the cheese grits. My meal was simple but executed very well. Hubby really enjoyed his farm fresh hash with the juicy chicken chunks and creamy goat cheese crumbles. The real standout of the day was the Franco fried Texas toast. OMG this was phenomenal! I would highly recommend giving this a try. It was sweet, crunchy and reminded me of a French toast stick but way better. Everyone from the hostess to the server was super nice. Great experience overall and we plan to visit again very soon! read more
Finally made it in after having JBBH on my list for a while. We had a busy morning and didn't arrive until after 1pm so we tried not to spend too much time choosing what to order. Lots of great reviews and photos online which helped. We both got the Super Sunrise Sampler with a pancake but different sides. We also got a Split Open and Melt (half avocado, poached egg, melted cheese and pico de gallo) to share. The side of root hash had good flavor but was cold. The pico on the Split Open and Melt was really good but, overall, we weren't impressed with it. Service was great and we were surprised how many people were there on a Friday so close to closing time. Funky decor and great bar area. They also had an area for live music. We'll definitely come back when we have more time. read more

Still my favorite breakfast restaurant near Jax beach. I'll always get the Baja surf and turf Benni, but every other benni has been so good as well. The staff is so sweet and I love the variety of smoothies and lattes that this restaurant has. It's always busy but they bring our orders at a pretty good pace. Love coming here!! read more
