Don't care what her deal is she sucks and I won't ever step foot in here again if I see this girl! Yuck! Overall presence was terrible! I work nursing and even on my WORDT days you will never catch me or my attitude off. Patients customers residents etc doesn't matter they should be someone you take care of one way or another not come off as if you THINK your better than! Believe me you are not sweetheart! Located in an historic building, the store is on the small side but well-stocked with pipes, cigars, tobacco, and accessories. There are comfortable leather chairs, a nice selection of beverages free to customers, and a friendly atmosphere. People who drop in quickly become "regulars" if they want to be social--and if that's not your speed, it's easy to relax and smoke by yourself. I'm a pipe smoker and appreciate the wide selection of pipes and tobaccos (including some rare or discontinued blends). Palmer, who works most weekends, helped me to choose my first pipe several years ago and is a terrific guy to hang out with when I stop in for a smoke. Stephen (Winky) works weekdays and we've had a great time exploring new blends and pipes as he delves into the hobby. And Brett, the owner, is a force of nature--always finding new, interesting things to offer. Very good for newbies and people looking to buy gifts for the pipe and cigar smokers in their lives. I've seen dozens of first-timers people walk in with some nervousness and leave with a smile. A brick and mortar like this is worth paying a little bit more than online (and it really is just a little bit more). If we don't support our local tobacconists, we lose something important to the hobby. Just a terrific place.

The guy working there was super laid-back and incredibly helpful -- no pressure, no cigar snobbery. He asked me a few questions about what my friend might like, made some solid recs, and even helped me pick out a case that looked fancy without being over-the-top. The shop itself has a great vibe -- kind of like if a speakeasy and a coworking space had a baby and filled it with cigar smoke and good music. Luckily, SO had spotted this on the way in from Shepherdstown, so we went there. Its a small, family owned looking place, and they had just what I needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and let me use their facilities which was very generous of them. Definitely keep this in mind in you are touring Antietam and need anything- there isn't anything immediately nearby the battlefield, and this place is about 10-15 minutes away down the pike.
