I had to write a claim for damages done to my car for them to never reach out to me and let my know that the damages were my fault? my car was off the track and made contact with the wall. they won't pay the damages so I would save your money and go else where- where you and youre car are taken care of rather than this car wash. Paid $30 for an interior clean, and I guess that included a free lesson in disappointment. I watched one guy "clean" the windows by smearing streaks like he was auditioning to finger-paint with Windex, while another came behind him trying to undo the damage like they were in a slapstick sitcom. Spoiler alert: the streaks won. The rest of the interior? Meh. Dust still on the dash, crumbs still in the crevices, and somehow my cupholders are now both wet and sticky--like they cleaned them with a damp lollipop. The staff moved like they were in a race against time, which is great if you're escaping a burning building, but not ideal when you're supposed to be detailing a car. Fast doesn't equal finished, folks. I'm not sure if Charlie ever met these guys, but if he did, I hope he kept the receipt. Save your $30 and just hand your toddler a microfiber towel and a juice box--they might actually do a better job. read more

I gave 3 stars as an average. I've used their washes for years and gifted washes to family for Christmas. I'd give those 5 stars. I bought an express interior clean for the first time two weeks ago. What a disappointment. I took pictures and contacted Olathe Charlie's through their website. The manager immediately contacted me and offered to redo it. When I went in today for them to redo it, they did an amazing job. They even dried the car and shined my tires! Knowing it was a redo probably got my car extra attention, but it also turned a dissatisfied customer into a happy one. I'll return! read more

I come here when I come visit my sister-in-law and it used to be a place called Green lantern but now it's called Charlie's. Little bit different of a pricing structure and I chose the $22 wash which in hindsight had I known they would have push me through again because the first time didn't work out so well I wouldn't have paid so much. As the interior of my sister-in-law's car needed some attention I also chose the $25 interior detail. So the car wash itself was mediocre at best as of course the car came in covered in bugs and although the fellas were spraying with the wands I was hoping they would have paid more attention to it. I want to say they used to have a lot more people working there but it didn't seem very busy maybe for the reasons I'm about to mention. There were four teenage boys and would seem to be a manager of some sort who while they did a swell job vacuuming they looked to me for approval as if this was good enough and it was nowhere near good enough. I had them rolled the windows halfway down so they could complete the cleaning of the windows. I gave direction to wipe down the door jams and that's when the fella said you want to go through the car wash again to get the bugs off the front? No I'm not a rocket surgeon but I do know that if it didn't work the first time it's probably not going to work again. So I grabbed one of their rags and some glass cleaner saturated the front bumper with glass cleaner and let it soak into the bugs and proceeded to scrub and lo and behold all of the bugs came off. I also attacked the door jams open the lift gate and I wiped all of the soap out of the jam there. I then had the manager bring his light into the car and together we wipe the dash down again were they clearly either neglected it or they didn't do the job to my liking. I wiped the wheel wells out and the lower portion of the car that everybody ignores. So for $51 I got to wash my own car. If you're going to have a bunch of kids attack a car give them directions make sure they do well. read more

Every time I come they have issues and waits at least an hour long. I just paid $50 for a car wash and they made me back out of the car wash over the bumps because a car came off the tracks. I'm sure that's terrible for my tires. Not only that but my car is halfway soapy and wet. The service is always terrible. They wanted me to wait in a line with 10 cars for a rain check. My only complaint from the last time I had my car washed and inside cleaned, I asked them not to use their usual window cleaner which has ammonia and not good for tinted windows. They did. Even with a photo of their blue car wash rag in my headlight fixture right next to the missing paint, they refuse to fix my car. A brand new car with 1600 miles on it and temp tags still. Charlie's is right down the road from us and we have never had any issues. We buy the wash pass books around Christmas, this year ( 2022) they did not do them I assume bc of inflation. Sometimes I zip in just for a wash for my truck, sometimes if it's not overly busy I have the inside cleaned. I haven't been disappointed. If it's not busy for interior cleaning they usually get my F150 crew cab out in about 20 min, all sparkly and clean. My truck doesn't go into the garage and we have one of those trees that had the red berries that drop once a year, if the first wash doesn't clean them off Charlie's allows me to run her through again. If you buy a certain level of wash you get a 2 or 5 day wash guarantee, I always bring mine back even if it's not dirty again just because I can. Beware of busy times, nice weather after winter etc, cars will be lined up out the driveway but typically the wash moves quick if people know what they want at the gate. The staff has always been friendly, my antenna always needs to be taken off and they it for me. Price is increasing but what hasn't increased under Biden Inflation. read more

I took my car to this car wash on Feb 12 and paid for the $20 wash. When I got home both front doors and hatch were filthy with blow back dirty water (apparently dryer wasn't working). Spent a week off road and hiking in Colorado so had to get it cleaned and bug stuff off. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning the outside and vacuuming/wiping down the inside. I ordered the signature outside and the super inside package for a total of like $43. I guess the two highest levels of wash packages don't include vacuuming the back of a Jeep? If you're not going to do that then you need a free vacuum on sight so I don't have to drive home with a 1/2 clean vehicle and vacuum in my garage. read more

Last two times i went in for the "works" and both times I had to take my car back in for a rewash (next day). The issues were not water spots or something minor...they were significant misses (last time most of the backend was a mess). You all used to be way better than this. The last time it happened I asked to speak with a manager and the young lady assisting me said she was a manager. She apologized and said that she and the manager would take care of it personally. Wait...I thought she was a manager. She said that she would give me a free deluxe wash...I don't consider you rewashing my car after not getting it right the first time, forcing me to come back, a free wash. After I went through the wash, I drove around to the bays. She ran out toward my car with two towels and wiped off the back. Not acceptable at all. The entire car should have been re-done. Oh yah...she also blamed new employees ("high school students") for the problem. She was barely a high school graduate herself. The issues were not due to the "new employees" or their age, rather to a lack of proper training and management oversight. When I go in, I always get the works...costing me $40 plus every time. That is not the level of service I get. I'll be looking for somewhere else. Maybe they should change the name back to Green Lantern because they are now literally dragging their founder's name through the mud. read more

Terrible customer service, irresponsible and negligent. My husband took his truck here last weekend for the complete interior and exterior cleaning. When they finished he inspected their work and there was a good sized tear in the leather passenger seat that wasn't there when he arrived. The management and on up the corporate chain is refusing to pay to repair the seat. FYI...husband observed that several supervisors wear knives on clips in their back pockets. The general manager insisted that supervisors never get in the vehicles. My husband then spoke with a director above the GM and he said that sometimes the supervisors do enter vehicles to inspect, with the knives on their pockets. We will not be returning and will warn our sphere to avoid this terrible business in Olathe, KS. read more

We'd been on a road trip for the past two day, so my car was in desperate need of a good cleaning. Took my car to Charlie's - paid over $50 for exterior and interior. SO disappointed. I do not know that they did anything inside beside vacuum the back of the SUV (and charged $3 more for it). Otherwise, there are still crumbs in the front seat, dirt on the dash, dirt on the doors, dog nose prints on the windows. I would not recommend, even for a car wash only. read more

I will NEVER buy another car wash ever from any Charlies Car Wash, as the facility in Olathe made a huge dent in my car and now refuses to fix it. The car wash broke while I was in the middle of going through it, and they told me to back up once the car behind me was backing up. I did as soon as the other car was backing out, as they had instructed me to do. Once I backed out there was a cleaning machine that had not been removed and dented the trunk of my car badly. Seriously~ beyond disappointed they are not willing to fix their mistake and pay for the damage to my car~ have never experienced service like this before and very frustrated. I've been using their service for 5 plus years and it is constantly disappointing. To get a "good" exterior and interior it's $40... and then you have to go home and clean what they missed. Not worth the hassle. Who wants to remind the worker what he missed every single time after they take 10 minutes for a full interior cleaning. It should take longer than that. We paid about $100 for two cars to be cleaned, we asked for cargo areas to be vacuumed and they didn't, did not clean floor mats, side mirrors were still dirty, did not wipe down the dashboard or console, rear view mirror was smudged, windshield and windows were smudged and there were still bugs on the front bumpers. I spent $51.46 for a premium car wash and detailing and I had to go home and vacuum over again, clean the windshield, clean out the compartments in the truck and the wind guards and wipe down the spots left all over my truck, not to mention the 12 huge scratch marks on the hood of my truck. After a pathetic experience earlier in the week where my black car was sitting (with me in it) in the hot sun for 40 min, left with water spots and streaks everywhere, back not clean....I still thought I would give them another shot. Rain cloud passed over so it was empty! Did the works again for my second vehicle. Pretty awful. Not vacuumed well, bugs on windshield, back of mirrors, black grill, front lights. I implore you not to go here. The staff is nice and that is where it stops. Paid 40$ did all the upgrading to ensure the van was cleaned. Paid for the cargo area, and shampooing.. Btw 40$ is already steep. Then add on that nothing was done. I am not wealthy by any means. I don't have 40 bucks to throw away for nothing. Do yourself a favor go to one of those automatic places and put a few dollars in. Then put some quarters in a vacuum. Your car will be 100x more clean. They didnt vacuum anything, there is still stuff everywhere. They may have shampooed and the only reason i know that is they left a couple puddles of water on a still filthy mat. The seats are still dirty.. i cannot believe i wasted 40$ on this place. I am absolutely disgusted. How dare this place charge this much.
