Great deal for $7. Easy to follow signs that guided me through the automatic wash, which includes a nice drying machine, then you turn left to use the free vacuums. I noticed as I was leaving that it said '5 minute vacuums'- oops! (I spent probably at least 20,) but it wasn't busy so I'm sure I didn't inconvenience anyone. There's a floor mat washing machine too, although I didn't use it, but I saw others doing so. The place is clean and the one worker I saw greeted me with a smile. I didn't see any vending machines that had towels, Windex, Armor All, etc.- that would be a nice added bonus. If I'm ever in this part of town again, I won't hesitate to stop in again. read more

This is my go-to carwash. Why? That easy: #1: My car gets 99% clean every time. #2: Self-vacuums are included in the price. #3: It's fast and there's never a line. #4: The price is right - $6 for the basic wash, which includes blow drying. And that's as low as I've found in my area. It's never been too busy, whether a weekend or weekday, and it's never been closed, which I appreciate. My only gripe is that the turn to enter the wash building from the payment kiosk is not for the faint of heart. Okay, probably the faint of heart could take it, but the less-skilled drivers among you will not be happy. Also, those of you with 'Murrican-Made jumbo 'utes (lookin' at you JoCo yoga moms in the Suburbans and Yukon XLs), crew-cab-extended-bed pickups, and other ozone-killing rides of girth will not appreciate that turn. That nitpick aside, BOTH of my cars make the turn with ease (or is it the highly-attuned mad skillz of the automobile pilot??) and wind up on the other side fresh, clean, and dry. Today was my first time to use speedy car wash, and I was very Impressed with free vacuums and the eight dollar car wash cleaned my whole entire car! I came from VA and I was looking for a good car wash, and I am glad I found one! read more

This is a pretty good carwash. It really is speedy. I can be in and out in 5 minutes with a line of cars ahead of me. Probably one of the best things about this carwash is that it has free vacuums. I'm not talking about crummy vacuums that don't work, but these suckers really suck. The only thing that is a little disappointing is the dryer at the end of the wash. It is really lacking and o don't know what they can do to make it better. If you want to get a complete wash it's 12 bucks, otherwise I think the basic is around 6 dollars. Just make sure youlook both ways before exiting back onto Strang Line Rd. It's 45mph through here and most cars are going around 55 and the exit is kind of on a bend, so visibility can be difficult at times. I'd hate to see anyone get t-boned coming out of here read more

FREE vacuums. And you don't even need to wash your car to use them Just pull up, vacuum, and bust out. Nothing like being able to just pull up somewhere and just vacuum up your car when it gets a little dirty. Despite the free vacuums, the car wash is very good. You get more brushes to clean dirt away and there is even a pre-bug wash station so you can prep all of the bugs on the front of the car. I don't know of any other wash in the area that has a big removal prep area (Although Rainbow car wash does pressure wash your car on the way to the wash). read more

I drove 5 miles out of my way to get my car washed here because I saw they had free vacuums. I paid for the $11 wash, and proceeded to the vacuums. Upon getting out, I noticed my car was still pretty dirty, but since my main objective was to clean the inside of my car, I shrugged it off. I started emptying my car and ridding it of trash (freaking kids..ha), and finally was ready to vacuum. I grabbed a hose and noticed it wasn't working at all. After checking a few things to be sure I wasn't overlooking something, I went inside the store. The guy there told me the vacuums were off due to rain (it wasn't raining, and hadn't been for a few hours), and when i pointed this out he said according to the weather, it was going to in 30 minutes or so (they're 5 min free vacuums, so I could have easily been done prior to this), and the owner doesn't want them turning the vacuums on and off. I asked him to please turn them on, explained I'd come here FOR the vacuums, and that it wasn't raining, but he did not. I find this to be pretty shitty customer service, and will not be back. read more

Very disappointed. When I pulled in the attendant didn't use the brush to remove the bugs from the front of the grill. I spent $11 and my car still had dead bugs on the front window and grill. The vacuums weren't working which seems to be common here. read more

I am really picky about the car wash I use. I prefer to wash my car at home but in trying to be more earth friendly I have switched. First I love the free vacuums. Second they recycle and reuse like 75% of the water. Third the prices are really reasonable for how clean your car gets in a touchless wash. Fourth is that it is really quick. I know some people have written about the road being dangerous. I haven't experienced that at all. I come on the weekends or in the evening after work so that might make a difference. Give this place a shot and you won't be disappointed. read more

This place ripped off my antenna. It tells you to retract your antenna if you can, but my truck doesn't do that. Unsure if anyone else has had this misfortune, but I don't think I'll be returning. It also says to remove tow hitches, I've never seen that request at a car wash before. I was considering their monthly wash program, but not anymore. I may just be going back to Waterway instead. On the plus side, it must be a strong clean wash if it pulls antennas off. read more

Drive-thru quickie wash, great for when you just want to get the road grime off but don't want a full detail job. Attendant has always been friendly. At this writing, the basic wash is a bargain at $6, the least expensive I've found in the area. Plenty of vacuum stalls at the exit means you can finish up without jockeying for a spot, and the vacuums suck. Hard. In a good way. (Nothing worse than an underpowered vac.) Promos here compensate for the terrible/dangerous location. I do hold my breath coming out of this place due to the traffic coming from the north and south at high speeds. Yikes! They offer a special every day from 5pm to 7pm and the same early in the morning but I don't recall the hours. The $12.00 wash is $8.00 and the $5.00 wash is $4.00. The hours are automatically reflected at the pay station. Employees are always nice when I have a question...such as...by chance do you have my hitch cover? I forget to remove it 90% of the time and each time I've gone back they have it. The free self-serve vacuums are a nice extra bonus. There has never been a wait so its a quick in and out and on my way. They also offer a carwash that pays a portion of the $$ to a charity. Nice! Dirty car? Stop by Speedy's, get it clean, and help a charity if you like. read more

This has been my "go to" since they opened. I have the premium monthly package for my big Ford F-150 4×4, as it is large and takes quite a long time to do it by hand. Cleans great. Service is great. Saves me time and money. Great Car Wash!!! read more

I went to this establishment on 1/26/16 at 1:40pm to get a Basic car wash and after it was done i went to vacuum out the interior and I noticed my back windshield wiper was broke off. Seeing as this place is super close to my abode, and along my route home from work, this is where I usually go for my basic (i.e. - non detailing) carwash. Pricey but you can donate to Children's Mercy. The car wash itself has my car sparkling. The attendant gives you a dashboard/steering wheel wipe which is really nice. There are also free vacuums. Nice spot. I'll go back there for sure! read more

First time using Speedy car wash. I have a Ram 1500 and it seemed a little snug fitting it in. Not sure if I needed to but I folded the mirrors in. One of the employees guided me into the track. Then he handed me a wipe to clean the dash and steering wheel. The wash in Lenexa uses spinning brushes and belts that hang down to wash the car. Never was a big fan of this type but they did a very good job. After the wash I used the free vacuums. The vacuums worked fair. Seemed like the more people using them the less power it had. Be sure to check their website for coupons. I got $2 off my wash. Cost is a little more than a gas station wash but worth it. read more

I have a 1989 Toyota Supra. I needed to all that nasty salt off, so I stopped by this place. I usually go to a car wash that's only $12 for the full body wash and all the extras included out in Overland Park. However I wasn't anywhere close to home. So I stop by and it's $18 for the most supreme wash that includes all the fancy stuff plus the undercarrige wash. Yeah I left with my entire car spotty and filmy looking. I had to go home and clean all my windows, and wipe down my entire car. I am NEVER again going to blow almost $20 on a car wash that looks like I went to some run down gas station with a semi functional wash that spits some soap and dribbles some water. Rip off. read more
