Absolutely horrible experience with Charlie's Auto Glass. I was told over the phone that replacing my driver's side window motor would take about an hour and that same-day service was guaranteed if I arrived before 3:30 PM. I got there at 1:30 PM and waited over THREE HOURS, only to then be told it was actually "first come, first serve" -- something never mentioned on the phone. When they finally worked on my car, the employee didn't even read the order correctly and started working on the wrong window, which resulted in my windshield being cracked. Then after installing the new motor, the window controls worked backwards -- pressing down makes it go up and pressing up makes it go down. Instead of taking accountability, they blamed the part instead of their installation. To make things worse, Mirka/Mirta was disrespectful and unprofessional when I was understandably upset. Wasted hours of my time, damaged my car, and handled the situation terribly. I would not trust this shop with your vehicle. read more

Horrible service all around. We were victims of a burglary and the thieves broke the driver and passenger side window to steal my wife's purse. I came in to Charlie's with 2 replacement windows for a GMC. They replaced the windows and left the glass fragments inside the door and they damaged the door panels, which previously weren't damaged. It looked like a tiger mauled the door panels, and when the doors were slammed shut they closed to the jingle of shattered glass all inside the panels. Long story short, and after multiple visits to this God forsaken place. The owner replaced the door panels and had all the glass removed from the doors. Stay way! You're better off fixing the problem yourself. read more

My experience with Charlie's auto glass was extremely out of the ordinary, and wait do you find out what happened at the end. I arrive to get a quote for my broken front windshield of my Mercedes and I met with Adrian who I thought was just a sales person but found out he was the owner. I was treated with the most highest respect and knowledgeable explanation of how to deal with the insurance company and my broken windshield. The job was done on the spot and delivered the next morning (because I got there late that afternoon) as they promised it would be. I'll give them my highest recommendation with professionalism, courteous, on time, and knowledgeable. And the shocker is that it was replaced with an original Mercedes windshield for that car, which his mother had to strongly negotiate with my insurance to get and that blew my mind. This place used to be the best. They used to do great work. I don't know what's changed, but they do crap work now. I came in to get the windshield replaced, and without going on a long winded ramble, I had to come in 3 times after the initial visit because of a "whistling issue" and they didn't resolve the issue until the final visit. Then on the last time I came in, the rubber seal around the exterior wasn't even connected down to the seal. I had to actually sit their and watch the tech do it. That all being said, the manager was still accommodating throughout the process, so I'll give them that, although the third time I was met with some skepticism as to the validity of my claim. Don't go to Safelite either, their Miami branch is atrocious, rude and unqualified. Good luck with your windshield issues. Two stars for finally actually resolving it. read more

Wow I miss the old owner, he ran a tight ship. I came in with the cracked windshield for a 1923 model-t ford kit car. 2 days later he gave it back to me perfect. That was 6 or 7 years ago. Fast forward to last week, I came in with the side window for a motor-home. I explained what I needed, the cut was simple and the thickness was easy to measure. They said no problem, that it would be done in a day or two. A week later, I finally get the call that the window is ready, I go to pick it and it's not ready, a hour later they let me take it. I get back to the office to try to put it in, and it's too thick. I take it back today, and their response is to tell me to try across the street at the place that specializes in cutting glass. They were great when I needed my passenger window replaced. They did it the same day and it was very quick. I had a couple of issues because my the after market glass didn't fit my vehicle. They were very accommodating. The ordered the factory glass and even replaced it right before the closed as everyone was leaving for the day.
