Had lunch here today and as usual it was good. This is a bar/restaurant with tons of TVs for sports fans. The food is good, with no complaints. I had the grilled pork chopped throughly enjoyed it. There were also crabcakes ordered that were enjoyed. The service was very friendly and prompt, thank you Madison! This place is definitely kid friendly so bring the family. Went to Charlie's with a group of friends for a late lunch. I will first start off at the service. Our waitress was very unpleasant. No smile no greeting. It appeared that she wanted to be someplace else but not at work. When I ask a question or anything very straightforward if this is the way all the waitresses are I would not return. The food we ordered a little bit of everything. The chicken fingers were like hockey pucks very overcooked hard as a rock the cheesesteak no flavor no taste, sliders Greasy and because we end up sitting next to the big screen television we are underneath the fans which we cannot get the speed lower, our food got cold, very fast very unpleasant. This was only my third time there and I again I will say I am not impressed with this place what I return I seriously doubt it anybody that has not been there don't go. read more

I ordered a Philly and onion rings over the phone. When my husband picked up the order, he wasn't sure what I had ordered, and your employee removed the onion rings and replaced them with fries based solely on his guess. The order should have been prepared as it was originally placed. On top of that, the Philly was soggy and not warm when I got it home. The food here is far from fresh. I ordered salsa verde chicken with rice and black beans. It was dry, tasteless and very unappetizing. The server was nice and helpful when she told me she never ate what I ended up ordering g. I should have known right there that I shouldn't have gotten it. The ambiance was fine. I'm being nice with 3 stars! They don't have 3.5 that's my rating !Great if u want really loud music that's not the biggest deal for me. I ordered Salad it was nothing like on the menu almost no salad greens I asked what kind of greens she told me wrong and I wouldn't have ordered it. They forgot the guacamole on top so I got one after I was done in a little container nothing is made there, no made there salad dressing etc. server was very nice but she didn't give me correct info for my lunch I would have chosen differently and I'm on a strict diet. I can't say I loved this place. My friend raved about it but it was tough for me to love. The inside was too noisy. The outside people were smoking left and right and that was so annoying. Then the waitress told us the grill was broken so no burgers or anything like that. We ordered brisket, grilled shrimp and side salad (I Had to send the side salad back because it had tons of cheese, onion, croutons and everything that was too much for a side salad- I got the Caesar salad instead); and my husband got two Chicago dogs. When he asked if frenchfries came with that, they said - no, it only comes with one dog. Well, ok -then order two orders of one Chicago hot dog and fries. No price break for two dogs - so what's the difference? We took some pictures outside by 'the alligator' and that was the highlight for me. This place is great for sports games. They have a huge wall that is made up of 6 tv screens. They had live music setting up while we were there. I've heard their frozen cocktails are pretty legendary. There's inside and outside seating. Always have a good time when going to Charlie's. This place is always packed when we drive by, so we just had to try it. We stopped by on a Saturday early evening and it was very busy. We did get seated though right away. At first our server was very attentive, until we finished and paid the bill. We asked for a t-shirt since they sell merch and she never came back. I ordered the brisket plate, and it was good, but had a lot of fat. My daughter ordered the nachos that were on special and enjoyed them. My husband ordered the red neck fries and liked them as well. The portions were very large. They also have indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. We visited again last night so needed to update my original review. My husband ordered the Ruben sandwich, and I ordered the tuna salad on a salad. He said his sandwich was good, but his fries were cold and tasted like grease. My salad was supposed to have tuna, tomato, and egg. I asked for no onion. It came out with only tuna and tomato. I asked where the egg was, and they said they were out. Well here we go! We have been to Charlie's Bar & Grill three (3) different times and only have one (1) complaint. THE FOOD IS COLD! The atmosphere is great, the servers are wonderful and the table service is good but THE FOOD IS COLD! All three (3) time we had cold food. Three bartenders at 11:48. All standing outside smoking cigarettes. So no one was getting service. I got there and waited till the bartenders finished their cigarettes. And ordered a beer. 6 other people who had been there ordered the same time. Smoke coming out of the bar like a Cheech and Chong movie. All the people at the bar were smoking. Killing each other. I was not going to eat there. No way. It reminded me of an outdoor Moose Club. The lady next to me coughing up a lung as she sucked a Marlboro . This is the second time I've been here. The last review was colorful but I forgave and took it down. I went inside to breathe and sat at the bar. Clean and quiet. Nice bartender. I dig the place but too far to drive after drinking. My nephew took me to Charlie's for lunch. We got there about 1130 on a Saturday and I was very surprised to see the parking lot was full. We were seated at the bar immediately and ordered a beer and lunch. Very lively place most people there were watching the football games that were just beginning to start for the day, college football. He had the Montana burger with french fries and I had five wings with honey garlic Parmesan. I also ordered a piece of cornbread with Wild blueberry butter., Amazing. The wings came fried crispy and the sauce was delicious with large pieces of shaved Parmesan on top and lots of garlic. I'm not sure if the cornbread was freshly made, but it was quite edible and the wild blueberry butter just perfect. The Montana burger is presented very well, it's a large burger with cheese, horseradish, and bits of fried onions on top. The beer was cold and the atmosphere is good. I'd stop in again and I definitely will have the cornbread. read more

First time here. Great place for a quick meal and a drink or two.... Service was fantastic, wait staff were very attentive and friendly, fun to talk to. We got the BLT and a burger . It came with a vegetable medley that was really good and very well seasoned. This is not fine dining so don't expect that this IS a fun place to relax and hang out with friends combined with really tasty bar food. Would highly recommend to try. read more

We love Charlie's! We've been regulars for a few years. Service is great, servers are wonderful. We had ONE bad experience with the beer being flat....we drank probably almost a glass each (ordered a pitcher). We mentioned it to the server (who was really great), and she said she'd talk to the manager. We returned our previous pitcher and ordered another pitcher of a different brand. Server came back and said that the manager said "it was fine". When we received our bill they charged us for both pitchers which I guess was fine, but they even kept the "up charge" for Mich Ultra vs Coors Light when we returned the other pitcher. I guess all in all it isn't earth shattering but seriously....the manager didn't give us the time of day or even a "pass by .... "is everything ok here". We are going to keep going here but honestly, the manager is not very customer oriented. PS: I actually live locally in Jupiter, but I cannot get my profile to change from San Francisco! Terrible food. Moderate drinks. The most immature wait staff I have ever seen. I started going to this bar when I moved here. It was a decent environment with ok drinks and terrible food but I enjoyed my time at Charlie's. It was months later when a server who worked there said she didn't like me and didn't want to serve me anymore. I had never been served by this girl and didn't even know her name so I had no clue why and still don't. Last week I sat in her section unknowingly with some friends and she got upset and told a different waitress to serve me at her table. Anyone in the industry knows just how immature and inexperienced you have to be to not serve someone who doesn't even know you and make a scene about it. I ignored it and continued by ordering 3 shots for my group over the next couple hours. We started playing pool and watching the football game and one person from our group went to order us one more round of shots.... Well the bartender is friends with the waitress who doesn't like me and they tell the person ordering our shots that we are being too loud and need to leave. Mind you we are at an outside bar playing pool and watching the game and we are being too loud to a point you want us all to leave?!? No they wanted us to leave because the one girl doesn't like me and we are having fun as a group. I told them it's absolutely pathetic and ridiculous to cut us off after a few shots and a good time. She told me she was calling the cops on me and having me banned from the establishment for telling her she was being immature and unprofessional. I gladly accepted the trespass from the nice officers and left. Even the cops said they were sorry but the bartender was the acting manager and they didn't have a choice. Absolutely pathetic situation and terrible establishment. I will gladly take my money somewhere else every night. The best part is I still paid my bill and the waitress got mad because I didn't want to tip her after being cut off and banned for 2 years for having a good time. If you're looking for a good meal, don't go to Charlie's. The pork sandwich had no flavor and the bbq sauce wasn't anything special - tasted like sweet baby rays. The pork tasted like it was sitting in a freezer and was recently thawed. The garlic Parmesan wing sauce was terrible. The sauce was very sweet. You're better off getting plain wings. I've passed this place many times on the way home from work and decided to give it a try. The ambiance of the place is low key and laid back. It's definitely an after work watering hole. The waitress we had was attentive and our glasses were never empty. I had the Texas burger and it was huge with loads of bacon. My husband got the prime rib and he liked it. I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5 because of the cheese fries weren't that great. The fries tasted as if they had been sitting out for a while and there wasn't a lot of cheese on it.
