They continue to overcharge me for my short sleeve dress shirts! They categorize them as blouses when I have them made by the same tailor and the same fabric (100% cotton) as the long sleeved shirts. New Ownership - Do not use this cleaners This location has new ownership and they lost an expensive item stating there was nothing they could do. They dd not even ask a description of the item or state that they would look for said item. A credit for my other items was not even offered either and I am just out a very expensive designer jacket. I recently moved to the Twin Creeks area so I started looking for a reliable cleaner in the area...since I was able to find only 2 or 3 reviews for Comet Cleaners and they were ok, I felt confident enough to take my new dresses here. What a big mistake, they ruined my dresses, now they have stains and one of them shrunk! They probably didn't even care to read the instructions, I would have done a much better job washing my dresses myself. I should know that something was wrong when they told me that one of my dresses will be ready until next day and they told me the same thing twice, I finally got it back until the third time, probably they noticed they ruined my dress and try to fix it without success. Ever since the ownership changed, I have been incredibly happy with their services! They know my name, everything is done right and no issues. I just picked up my sofa cushion covers that I thought were ruined from my sweet pug getting sick all over them. (Yellow and brown BIG stains). I don't get my clothes dry cleaned often because I don't own that many pieces that require it; however, twice I have taken my clothes here and they have returned my clothes in the same stained condition. This last time, I specifically sought them out for a same day emergency cleaning to get a stain out and they returned my piece in the same condition. If a customer points out a stain for same-day service, I don't understand why it would not be of utmost priority to get the stain out. I asked for a refund l, as justified, and they obliged. I then asked to speak to the supervisor, who already had a very rude, condescending and unprofessional tone with me. Honestly, The man saw a young black female and assumed me to be ignorant, and that I didn't understand a thing. I will not be returning here... And I will tell all of my peers to avoid this place. I understand that the process, in the constraints given, may not have resulted in the stain coming out, but I do not appreciate being treated poorly as a customer. I have used them for years. I believe there is new ownership now. Very friendly and courteous. Had an issue in the past where a pair of pants was "lost". Owner gave me a credit that more than compensated for the pants while they searched for and found the missing item. I had a dispute on my order when picking up. The person I was dealing with, Nikki, was not particularly helpful and a bit combative. I asked to speak to a manager. She replies that she is. I asked to speak to the owner. She smirks at me "he's busy". I asked her to have him give me a call because I am not having a good service experience with her. She says "I'm a great manager. All my customers love me" I say I would still like to speak to the owner when can I expect to hear from him. Her reply is "maybe sometime next week". I looked all over for a place that dry cleaned letterman jackets and tried Charlie's. I did not need the leather cleaned, only the fabric. My daughter's jacket was 3 years old, had never been cleaned, and had the yucky letterman fabric fuzz ALL over it. I was hesitant with how it would turn out, and was not hopeful it could get cleaned. It was done in just a few days, and when I picked it up, it still had a TON of fuzz all over it. I'd even had to ask if it had been cleaned! lol. I took it assuming I'd just have to get the fuzz off myself. About 10 minutes later Charlie's called me and asked me to bring it back. They'd talked to the owner and he said it shouldn't have looked like that. They said they got a new finisher worker and they hadn't done it good enough. I took it back and picked it up a few days later and it was SO CLEAN and fuzz/lint free! So, so grateful for their hard work, because I'm sure it was not an easy process and was probably very time consuming. I paid $20 for it to be cleaned, but would have paid more! So I asked store manager what the official discount was for Veterans and he said the only veteran discount he gives is to a former navy seal. I've been using this cleaner for 11 years and only have glowing things to say about the facility and staff. My clothes are always ready when promised-perfectly packaged with care. We always use the drive thru service and love that they will load the clothes into my car. I can't figure out how the employees are able to listen to my 10 digit phone number (without writing it down) and remember it long enough to go to the computer, type it in and retrieve my order. Maybe it's because they are all so brilliant :-) The owner, Charles, takes on community projects-like coins for coats where he went from school to school asking kids to save their coins so he could purchase new coats for the children who couldn't afford them. I can't remember how many kids he was able to buy for, but I haven't forgotten his commitment to the kids in our neighborhood. read more

The owner wouldn't even call me even when I requested she do so three times. I would never have had this poor customer service when Charles owned the store. My drapes shrunk. I did not hang them immediately and apparently it was past their 30 day time frame. My experience: I took business clothing items and specifically asked for dryclean no starch. Staff seemed helpful and willing to work with small issues but they took it upon themselves to water launder 5 of the 11 items. The guy in charge, Mr. Grant, informed me in a condescending manner that through years of experience he knew what he was doing and I didn't. He educated me on the fact that people don't really know what type of service they want. Basically he will choose to wash or dryclean. (buyer beware) If I wanted my items water washed, I would have done that myself. I was placing trust to have pro cleaned. Upon learning of 'washed' items, I went home and double checked my stuff and sure enough one of my $90 shirts (I wore exactly once) was speckled with blue spots and some red smudging. (either overlooked pen thrown in their washer or sloppy concentrated detergent spots or other) They didn't catch that obvious mistake upon return. I won't be back but I do owe Mr. Grant an apology though, for letting him know what I thought...in front of his employees. read more

We will not be using this place of business anymore. This was our second time and they, once again, did not do what we asked. My husband dropped of his uniform one day and asked them to do military creases which they agreed. He gets home, looks at the shirt, and it wasn't done. This time he needs it for a funeral. I bring it yesterday, I stress over and over again to please put military creases in the shirt. I let them know it was not done last time. I pick it up. Come home. He looks at it and again it was not done. Now I'm questioning if they even know what military creases are at this point and maybe they don't want to say anything? It was my own fault for not backing before hand but when they are reassuring me it would be done, I put my trust in them, especially with me using them again after not doing what we asked.
