The actual installation was pretty much a breeze, except of course for all the furniture being crammed into the bedrooms which was actually kind of funny and only lasted for the four days it took them to do the whole job. They give you one on one attention and listen to your needs and wants. We have used them for our flooring needs multiple times with multiple houses from carpet to laminate to LVP and have always been over the moon with our final product. Even when we have needed carpet patched because of a paint spill, their carpet installers patched it so well we couldn't find where the patch was. I would never go anywhere else for my flooring needs.

We discussed and agreed to the project schedule and expectations. What transpired was a serious lack of transparency and management. We were taken advantage of including paying for work that was never done and were told it was, hurried work that required rework multiple times, schedule slippage by multiple weeks causing us to incur additional costs and rescheduling subsequent contractors. John discussed making things right, however we were well past the point of allowing for this to continue and paid for a different contractor to finish the remaining rework. I am just tired of the disruption to my families and my life. I am 100% unhappy with the quality of work and the unfinished result. It started with the installation of the wrong carpet... now it has taken them 5 times to come and fix issues with the wood floor they installed. They said they would install vent covers... they did only half. There are molding issues, chipped edges on end boards, unlevel flooring and no real attempt to make it right... even though they pleaded that that was their goal. This was a $20k error in judgement on my part ... please do not enter into agreements with this company. Satisfaction is not one of their goals.

Thankfully, I got a second opinion from Dave's Master Floor Care. Dave carefully inspected the entire floor and explained that refinishing was possible -- and he delivered outstanding results with good value. Dave is thorough and an excellent communicator. He explained the types of wear on my floors and outlined his refinishing strategy step by step. With little room for error on this type of flooring, I appreciated his clear approach -- there's no "undo" button with refinishing! Dave also has tools I've never seen before -- it felt like he had a gadget for every challenge that came up. Plus, he's been doing this for years, so he knows how different stains and woods react. I even learned a bit along the way. And the best part? Dave does the work himself. Sometimes he brings an assistant to help with simple stuff, but you're really hiring him -- not a random crew. He provided a consultation for my indoor floors, but then I had him also look at my garage floor and he said he was able to do the work I was looking for, which is what I will be reviewing here today. I had a few cracks in my garage floor and was looking to Epoxy it to protect it for the winter. Dave explained to me his process and how it differs from the competition which helps keep his cost low. The best part about Dave was that he stuck to the quote he gave me, with no surprises or additional ask for money, and he started when he said he would, got the job done quick, and finished when he said he would - anyone who has worked with contractors before knows this is a rarity! Dave was respectful and treated the place with care, and I would recommend his work to others. We think the garage looks great! Dave is passionate about his work and did tend to over-explain some things to me, so some people might enjoy that more than others but it was great to hear how much he knew about the subject!
