Mrs. K. had a filling fall out on Friday night and I'm headed out of town on Sunday. What to do? We could wait until Monday and she takes an expensive Uber to the dentist next week. Or we can get this done Saturday morning. I opted for the emergency dental and we arrived here to a full waiting room. With only one dentist on staff, it turns out that we arrived at exactly the right time. There had been -nine- people waiting when they opened this morning and even though it was 10am, Mrs. K. was the tenth patient to be seen. And patience was required but in the end, top notch dentistry was performed. They quote $99 for the exam and x-rays plus $250 to $500 for the work. Well, the work was $498. Go figure! They do not accept insurance and they don't take appointments. You are provided a print out to submit to your own insurance and be reimbursed. Walk-ins are it. I went in needing an Emergency Extraction. It was very fast, I did the paperwork and got my X-rays in about 30 mins. With an Hour of arriving the Dentist had already numbed me up to relieve the pain. Grand total of 2 hours at the office and the tooth was gone, and I was done. Excellent Service, friendly, professional, and most importantly no one was judgmental, and the dentist didn't ask me random questions while working, he just got in and got it done. Its an hour and a half from my house to there. I only went because it was an emergency and no one near me could do it that fast. This is my place now. I will never go to anyone again. My son went there for a tooth ache that had been killing him for 2 days..He knew treatment was going to be out of pocket bc his insurance doesn't come into effect until August.. They gave him a horror story about his mouth and wouldnt help him with out him handing over 2000 dollars . They wanted to do all this work like he was going to be a long term patient..He has a dentist that has been working on his mouth so he just needed a temporary solution until he could get back to his dentist in August...They offered no RX for antibiotics or any solution other than a big bill....This is so unacceptable for someone that knows how much pain a toothache is..He was so disheartened that he walked out with no help... I can't recall the guys name, but there was a gentleman dentist there, that about three weeks ago pulled a tooth for me, with it being my first ever I was nervous and scared, he talked to me about music etc to keep my mind busy, was super fast and helpful and it healed perfectly. I was back at work the next day. I didn't even have to get pain meds other than over the counter stuff. Super great friendly staff. read more

Horrible experience- don't even bother going. I waited over an hour on a Sunday to be seen and was the last patient. They literally took two minutes and told me to take ibuprofen and Tylenol, which I had been doing. they just wanted to get me out of there. They did not care to see my surgical records from my procedure that I had. He hardly looked at my mouth, did not prescribe any type of antibiotic for infection even though a whole flap of my skin was off of the implant that I had surgery on. They are a SCAM!!! Not everyone wants pain medicine. Some people genuinely need care and this place takes your money and does nothing for you. I was having severe pain and found out through Aspen Dental that I would require a root canal. Due to the location of the needed root canal, the doctor at Charlotte Emergency was unable to assist me here. I felt that my family and I may have wasted a whole hour driving out to this location. Thankfully, Susan, the receptionist, made a call to Urgent Dental in Matthews and said they could fit me in immediately. I am SO SO grateful that she directed us over there, where I received help the same day. If it were not for Susan, I would have had to endure another sleepless night due to the pain. I never write reviews, and have never in my life left one this long... but I had to make sure I did that here. I came in here Friday afternoon, because I had an emergency with one of my molars that I knew required attention. It ended up being even more serious, and I needed an extraction. Even in a city like Charlotte, there are very few practices that are open on the weekends (this one is open 7 days a week!) and even less that do not require insurance. I was very nervous to go inside, and ended up sitting in my parked car for the first 30 min on the property. I almost chickened out - dealt with the pain - and went home. Once inside, I was greeted at the front desk by Erin. She could tell I was overwhelmed. Thanks to her friendly demeanor, she quickly took my anxiety down to a manageable and breathable level. She also checked in with the waiting room here and there, to make sure we were all alright. After waiting awhile, I was brought back to take x-rays. Megan brought me back and gave clear instructions on how to stand/where to bite on the machine. I was still pretty anxious though, and my brain wasn't processing everything she said. She never made me feel rushed or dumb when she needed to repeat herself, (because I just was not getting it). When the xray had been processed, she reviewed it with me, also in a nonjudgmental way. George, was wonderful... and seriously, like an angel. I still could have had an overall fine experience, but I know it would not have been the same level of care, had he not been *the one* there multiple times checking on me. George was kind and compassionate (and at times helped me breathe) through the entire process. Dr. Wright has earned my respect and I will absolutely be back in to see him. I also know I will feel much more comfortable next time in the chair. He also reviewed the xray with me and fully broke it down. One of the main reasons why I haven't gone to the dentist as often as I should -- is from past appointments elsewhere, where I've been told everything that I've done wrong by the doctor in a condescending, and unhelpful way. Unfortunately from there, I internalized it for years until I avoided the dentist like the plague, and really sabotaged myself. While going over my x-ray, I kept waiting for that familiar air of judgment, and it never came. I felt human, instead of worthless. On top it all, I have a crippling phobia of needles. So much so, that I get full body shakes. Dr. Wright not only, skillfully handled my injections to the point where I almost didn't feel them... he gave me some time to calm down afterwards, then came back and completed the extraction from start to finish in maybe 5 minutes. He checked in the whole time, making sure I wasn't in any actual pain and only felt "pressure". I greatly appreciate the team at Charlotte Emergency Dental. While I won't go as far as saying "I can't wait to be back", I will say that I am no longer scared to be back-- and I know I'll be in good hands whenever I do. A few added things to keep in mind when coming here as a patient: since the "perks" of this type of office come with some "not-as-awesome" things, but it is still VERY WORTH IT to go here: --This is an *emergency* dental practice, so if there is someone with a greater need than what you have-- you can expect them to see that patient first. Just like at the doctor's : if someone is bleeding or in a critical-state and comes in after you -- chances are, they're going to been seen first if you just have the Flu. When I was there someone had come in after I did, and they had chipped their tooth. They had cut their gum/lip with the tooth and it sounded like they could've had part of the tooth embedded in the gum too. I, of course, then knew that they'd be "treated" before me, since that was the actual emergency. --You should absolutely expect to wait. Depending on the day of the week and time that you go, you might get seen sooner... but for reference: I was there for 4.5 hours total. With that being said, I know this a small practice and that everyone who works there is DOING THE BEST THEY POSSIBLY CAN. You don't want them rushing your emergency, so do be patient while they put that same energy and focus into others. It will be worth it. In the period of time that I was there, I heard 3 people complaining specifically about the wait time, but that really should be expected for a walk-in friendly, insurance not required, open 7 days a week, small (and astonishingly affordable!) practice. read more

My 5 star experience started as soon as I picked up the phone to call them for help. I was greeted with care and warmth. They were able to answer my questions and give me answers right away. I called with concern regarding my wisdom tooth causing me extreme pain. I couldn't get into a surgeon for another month. Dr.Wright was able to extract the tooth quickly and efficiently without causing me any pain. I was so scared because I did not know him or his work, but he made me feel at ease from the beginning! Was thorough looking at my X-rays and explaining why he was able to make the extraction for me. When it came time for the extraction he triple checked that I was all numb and ready. Not to mention he was so gentle while numbing me, I really did not feel much and that was the only hard part of the whole procedure. This was my fourth visit at CED and will more than likely be my last visit. After a prolonged wisdom tooth being severely abscessed, I needed to have it removed it ASAP and my regular dentist would not pull it immediately as they wanted me to take antibiotics before hand, and also referred me to another practice to have the procedure done. Since my experiences were often great with CED, I specifically chose to go there this morning and not to a few other emergency dentists who were much closer geographically. The intake process was very quick and the receptionist was very friendly and informative. Upon completing my paperwork via smart phone, I was advised that payment was directly out of pocket despite that I had dental insurance. During my previous visits, I was un-insured and always paid out of pocket simply because that was the only way I was able to have the procedure(s) done. After finding out that the visit would be a minimum of $400-500, I became very anxious and concerned because I did not have that kind of money at the time. Had I known that my insurance would not cover the visit, I would have made arrangements and looked elsewhere. Since the level of pain was beyond excruciating and agonizing, I decided to seek the help of my family and was fortunate enough to have my mother lay out the funds so that I could receive treatment. The receptionist did inform me that there is an option available for reimbursement from my insurance company, and was kind of enough to provide me with further details via documentation. This was when my visit took a turn for the not so good. Upon my name being called by the dental assistant/hygienist, I was led down a hallway and told to enter the room "there" and when I walked into another room, the female associate rudely exclaimed "no not that room, this one." as she directed me to the room directly across from the one I had entered. At first, I didn't think much of it as I am sure this type of an incident is very common. I was then asked to have a seat in the chair and was then asked the usual questions regarding my condition and how long I had been experiencing pain etc. I was then asked to follow the female associate to another room down the hallway where i was to be X-rayed. She explained that this particular procedure would be done by standing up, which of course is a Panoramic X-Ray machine. After the weighted apron was placed atop my shoulders, I was then guided to the machine of which the patient is to place their mouth over a "ledge" and then bite down while being forced to remain still upon the X-ray process. Since this was the first time I had ever even looked at one of these machines, let alone have one used to take X-rays of me, I was a bit unsure as to where exactly I was to place my mouth. After a few attempts at biting down on this extremely uncomfortable yellow object, the associate began to rudely demand that I had to "place my teeth at the end of the ledge" " No not that!" "No do you see the ledge right there in front of you" "Your not doing this right." With each demand, I notice her tone beginning to become louder and more assertive as if I was being an issue to her. Luckily, I am a man who has experienced some traumatic experiences in my life so I was able to shun this off, but to be in this type of an atmosphere where people come seeking treatment to ultimately find some relief from whatever dental emergency that they have going on, the way this associate acted was very disrespectful, unprofessional, rude, and just simply nasty. After finally getting the X-rays taken, I was instructed to go back to the room that I was in before. The dentist (Dr. Wright) entered the room within five minutes to give me my consultation. Dr. Wright was very mild mannered, but definitely acted much more professional that his dental assistant. After explaining what I already knew to be true and that I had a very serious abscessed tooth, he then explained the forthcoming procedure which was to numb me with an anesthetic, allow it enough time to kick in, and the extraction which would take 5-10 minutes. After being injected with Novocaine, I was then told to relax and allow the anesthetic kick in so that I would become good and numb, which in my previous extractions would usually be no more than 10 minutes. I winded up waiting for half an hour before Dr. Wright and his assistant finally returned to my room to perform the procedure. Luckily, Dr. Wright had the magic touch and was able to remove my rotten wisdom tooth rather quickly. Despite the quick yank, I did feel a little discomfort of which I am certain was the nerve of the tooth/region but it was not enough for me to sound an alarm and pause the procedure. After the gauze was placed on the extraction site, I was given my prescriptions, aftercare paperwork and was set on my way. I went into this office for the first time since moving to Charlotte in March of 2024 & was seen by Dr. Curtis Wright due to an electric shock pain in my teeth and gums. He gave me a Amox, Ibuprofen for pain and a mouth rinse. Went away after about 3-4 days. (Must've been an infection) I went back into this office on July 9th, 2024 with the same pain & was seen and BRUSHED off by a female dental assistant and a male dentist (wish I knew their names) and they were LAZY. The female didn't even touch my mouth to examine, take X-rays, no nothing. I seen my mouth X-ray from THREE MONTHS AGO on their screen in which she was going off of and told me "You have an exposed root." I asked how do you know that let alone if I have an infection if you didn't do a new check?" she then said "I'll go get the doctor." The male comes in and he doesn't check anything either but used the mirror tool when I asked "Do I have an infection?" and says "No infection" but I KNOW I have to have an infection bc my gums are swollen, bad taste in my mouth (& I haven't been able to eat) and the electric shock pain! Even told me to go get a deep cleaning done by another dentist but their company website says they do other services. (So why are yall referring me out?) They gave me not even a PAIN MED. They did not care for this to be an "EMERGENCY" dental office. Long story short .... DO NOT SEE ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN Dr. Curtis Wright! Them other ppl need to get out the field bc infections in your mouth should not be taken lightly bc they may be having a slow day talking about their grandma coming into town so they don't want to work. read more

I made sure to make an appointment so that I'd be seen at a specific time or so I thought. The reality is that an appointment is no guarantee that you'll even be seen. The receptionist told me that the wait is 1.5 - 2 hours. That to me is crap. I'd have been better off waiting a couple weeks to see my regular dentist. Despite the long wait however I was pleasantly surprised by the low cost of services and the fact that those services could be performed that afternoon. The problem that I had was a molar that was giving me shooting pains that were excruciating. I thought it was a molar on the bottom left. In fact it was a molar on the top left. It was proven to me by the dentist when he touched it with a probe that felt like a red hot poker. I was crying. The pain was that intense. I knew it had to come out but I didn't know how long I would have to wait. Surprisingly the answer was 15 minutes. There was some small pain when the novocaine was administered but none when the tooth was extracted. I now have a new dentist! read more

I cannot say enough great things about the dentists and assistants here. I went in with a tooth that I learned needed a root canal. They were very concerned with the level of pain I was experiencing and quickly put me at ease. Because it was close to the Christmas holiday, they put a temporary filling in to stop the pain until I could get to my regular dentist. Going to leave my absolute honest 100% review: Yes, walk-ins. However, the order of who's next is upon them... Not to sound racist, but me and another black male was here at opening time (9AM) just to be the last ones seen at 3PM this Sunday. Meanwhile as I'm waiting for extensive hours, I noticed people after me coming in and getting out before me, also before the other black guy in front of me... Also observing, that the first patients to be seen were Caucasians that arrived well after us, also after them was any other people besides black patients. Once it seemed that every race was seen, the lobby is only left with black patients. Now, they reel out the black FEMALE patients (also, most of them arrived after me and the first black guy who arrived beginning of the shift.) The ENTIRE day goes and ironically me and the other brother are the LAST ones to be seen at closing time... this is very unprofessional, very much stereotypical and unfair that I'd had to spend my entire at the Charlotte Emergency Dental lobby waiting for patients who arrived after me. Look, if you've got an emergency... I guess it is worth it. I've never patronized for an emergency. What brought us here is the location and insurance acceptance. 1st visit was two years ago and they messed up BIG but worked hard to get it all corrected and we were out the door. May 2016 the kid had an appointment. Godparent took my place as I traveled and later learned the kid couldn't be seen because no one had the insurance card. Well, no one made this known with any reminders. Never mind it's on file from our 1st visit. I contacted management and was far from happy. Move along to 2017, they've changed the policy on being seen with your insurance card in hand that day. Yet, no notice. I asked about it and learned of such. This is how this place works: think temp agency with a rotating staff. I thought 24 hours is great but not when you're in for routine work and looking for CONSISTENCY. No consistent office manager. Front desk clerks and hygienist never know what did what nor when because they have only showed up to complete their 8 hour shift. Essentially, continuity doesn't exist here. No one ensures files can be followed and no one takes initiative to read before a patient shows. Honey this is a puppy mill/churning mill. Arrived for a 1:30p appointment. Checked in at 1:33pm. Called back at 1:58p after others walked in after us and was taken back. Look, I don't care if you're running behind... just say something. We were on the cancel list and got in. Booked the appointment went about life. Days later, ON THE DAY OF the appointment, someone calls to learn if we will show for our appointment in 3 hours?!?! I was worried something happened or maybe they were running late. Called back. No answer. Called the number called from, no answer. I left a message and emailed saying we'd be in attendance. No one called back nor replied saying, "Hey. Got your message. Thanks" All in all, be forewarned and have at it. Cash prices are decent just manage your own expectations. P.S. More folks should have and offer 24/7 dental and medical practices so you're not working routine stuff in the ER. And, because life happens. They are closed tomorrow and they will not have a dentist on Monday till after 1pm and they will be open on Tuesday. It's been a tough last 24 hours. Toothache was killing me so I finally decided to go get this taken care of. I'm out of town visiting a friend so I really only had reviews and pricing to go off of. I just want to say that I was thoroughly impressed from the minute I called in to request info to when I walked out the door one back molar down with gauze in my mouth. First, I called in to talk to the receptionist, Robin. What a sweet lady. She gave me pricing for the x-ray and consultation and that price never changed (I have no dental insurance.) After I arrived and filled out paperwork I was seen almost immediately. The X-ray was taken and the dentist, Dr. Yu saw me once again, almost immediately. He gave me my options, one was to just focus on the tooth giving me pain, or the other more costly option was to also fill in the tooth beside it that doesn't hurt yet, but probably will in a year-ish. I went with the cheaper version because that honestly all that I could set aside at the moment but I NEVER felt pressured to go with the other option. The procedure was, uncomfortable. I knew it would be. But both the dentist and the very kind dental assistant did a great job of assuring me and coaching me through the whole process. Anyway, what a great place and great staff! I couldn't even wait to get home to leave this review. Here I am still in the parking lot sitting in my car just to type this review. Today was the BIG DAY to have my tooth extracted. This may be something small to some people but for me this was a HUGE step because my past experiences made me terrified of the Dentist. I can not express how much this place has helped me to get over my fear. The people here are amazing. My Doctor name was Curtis Wright (I hope I spelled his name correctly) and the dental assistant name was MJ she was so kind and caring to me. She made sure I was comfortable the entire way and both her and doctor Wright talked me through every step ensuring me that I was doing a great job. Doctor Curtis is amazing at what he does. I felt no pain at all which was my biggest fear. He was gentle as can be when removing a tooth, he explained my situation to me in detail and the process was quick. Pulling the actual tooth couldn't have took any longer than 5 minutes, at least thats how quick it seemed to me. Whenever I need them again I will not hesitate to reach out the them. After 3 days of dealing with my very first toothache I rushed into this godsend that's not too far from my home uptown. I was one of the first 3 people to be seen that morning and I was in EXTREME Pain. Literally nothing I took helped except for Ice cubes. I was so nervous I vomited in the bathroom & one of the other dentists assistant offered me a water and some crackers. Luckily I had a yogurt in my purse lol The African American dental assistant Ms. Kristi & DR. Yu were very friendly and patient. Ms. Kristi could see that I was very anxious yet she answered all my questions professionally & with a sense of humor. After getting my X-ray I was informed of my options and decided to get an extraction. It was roughly about 350 including consultation & x-ray. Once I was numb I went and paid for my procedure. Within about 8 minutes I was out of the chair & on my way to the pharmacy. Dr. Yu allowed me to listen to music during the procedure while Nurse Kristi rubbed my shoulders any time I winced from hearing the crazy noises in my head/ ears. They even stopped briefly So I could gather myself and breath for a second. The hardest part were the sounds. Literally the numbing process was more painful then the actual procedure! Took my child here yesterday, it' was a SUNDAY! I will not be able to say enough great things. We were greeted by Peggy, who let us know to fill out all of the chart info on the website. They don't file insurance, but if we wanted we could file ourselves. Peggy, was so sweet and informative. Then we met Vicki. Vicki took my son's X-rays. He's grown, but I wanted to come back. She said that I could after the X-rays. Vicki also assisted Dr. G during my son's extraction. She made small talk with us, and just was a very genuine caring person. Vicki, was very sweet and continued to ask my son if he was ok. Dr. G told my son from the start, "You should not feel pain. If you do raise your left hand. I'll stop, I'll numb you more." Dr. G took his time. This was no easy extraction. My son's roots were long. He took his time, but also was trying to get the tooth out quickly, so my child wouldn't have to endure being uncomfortable for longer than needed. He continued to ask my son, "are you ok?" I became a little nervous when my son started shaking his legs. They both assured me it was completely normal. The nerves and the cold. After the procedure, they told me where the nearest pharmacy was. My son told me, "I feel so much better. I felt pressure during them pulling it, but that's pretty much it." Dr G told him he'd feel pressure from the start and told him what to expect. Vicki gave us all after care instructions, and was completely thorough. To be open on a Sunday, was a God send. I was so thankful, after two days of seeing my son in extreme pain. It was amazing that the whole staff treated us with kindness and compassion. read more

This is the absolute worst service I have ever revived and I feel absolutely taken advantage of and ripped off. I called prior to coming making them aware that I had a canker sore that had not resolved. They advised for me to come in. When the dentist (Dr. Yu) walked in the room the first thing he told me and we don't handle sore we do teeth. I explained what the issues were prior to coming! I paid out of pocket because it was out of network and I feel the robbed me of my $65 exam fee for him to make a referral to a place I could walk in myself. I lost an inlay to an unfortunate incident with salt water taffy at 5:15 today (Friday, the worst day ever to need a dentist!) and was back home, completely restored, by 6:30! Dr Wright and his staff were so amazing, compassionate, professional, and efficient. As a bonus, the cost was beyond fair. We drive OTR and were in town delivering when Teri was struck with an awful and debilitating toothache ,looking up dentists locally brought us to Emergency Dental. Extremely happy with how quick,kind and professional they were with us. We were also pleasantly surprised at pricing -it was extremely affordable. The staff and Dr Howell were all kind and understood the big baby mentality with dentists! As for the money up front and money was utmost with them,we didn't get that at all but then I've always understood it was a business and was just ecstatic they could take care of the problem so quickly. I have a very irritating, yet very minor issue of a pop corn kernel stuck in my wisdom tooth... it's swollen now and is beginning to be bothersome. I've tried to lodge it myself, but it's stubborn. I remembered seeing the Charlotte Emergency Dental sign on Park Road, so I looked them up, and called. The lady that answered the phone immediately tells me that an x-ray will be $67. I'm a little irritated by her instant knee jerk response, but I continue the conversation. I then ask her how much it will be to actually remove the kernel and she says $44. I tell her that 1) I have great dental health and am very in-tune with what's happening with my body and in my mouth and 2) I'm absolutely positive what the issue is and that I don't need (or approve of additional, useless radiation to my face) an x-ray, I just need them to dislodge the kernel. She said, "well, he'd have to do the x-ray to be sure of the problem..." Do people really allow these extra x-rays to be done purely for profit?? This method doesn't seem like it's beneficial for anyone except the pocket of Charlotte Emergency Dental. I would have easily paid the $44 to have this issue resolved today, and Charlotte Emergency Dental would have made a happy customer, but instead, they chose to let a dime hold up a dollar. So, now they've managed to make a DISSATISFIED customer that now feels the need to speak negatively of them... wow- what an awful business practice... Good luck staying in business with that business plan. read more

I can't thank the staff here enough. I came in yesterday on vacation with a problematic broken tooth. I had the tooth scheduled to be removed by an oral surgeon up north once I returned, however my tooth had other plans. The dentist here was able to remove it without myself having to undergo being put to sleep and having a more costly procedure. Wow! So impressed! Not to mention he was extremely nice and confident in his abilities to resolve the issue. Thank you! read more

Just want to write a review because I was very well taken care of. I thought I was going in for one thing but ended up getting my wisdom tooth extracted. As an adult that is scared of the dentist to this age I must say they made me feel comfortable the entire time. I don't remember the wonderful lady's name that talked to me and I asked any question and she made me feel comfortable. She was nice & my dentist didn't make a comment about my humming through out the process. Lol it was my way of calming my nerves so I wouldn't be scared about the tools. The process was quick and easy. Thank you to the entire staff you are all a blessing during this time, especially for dental emergencies like mine. SCAM!!! They're a scam! I went there to get a root canal today. I called a few days prior just to see if that was a service that they offered since it was advertised on their website. I got to their office at around 11am and didn't leave until 1:30. 2 1/2 hrs wasted because all that I was given was a prescription for pain. After telling the dentist Stephen Yu that Motrin doesn't work for me he still prescribed it and said that he wouldn't prescribe me anything else. They make u pay $80 up front just to steal your money, but I will be disputing this charge! All that they can do is pull teeth! Why would anyone knowingly pay $80 for ONLY a pain prescription when they can have their primary doctors prescribe it! SCAM! And why would you even suggest pulling a vital tooth that only needs a root canal? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! The dentist Stephen Yu was unprofessional and worthless! Terribly swollen gums and couldn't swallow anything, solid or liquid. Called this place after seeing all the great reviews and that they are open extended hours.. their website clearly said walk ins welcome during business house 8-8 on Wednesday, I called at 6:00 and the lady I spoke to said I couldn't go in and that they open at 9am. Additionally, her attitude the whole phone call came off as very rude. Anyways, ended up having to go to the emergency room since no other dental offices were open. read more

I went in November to get a tooth pulled. It was a Monday afternoon and I had to wait for 4 hours. After I get back to the room and already numbed, the dr then tells the nurse to make sure I signed the consent form. So here I am signing the consent form AFTER I've already got what I was consenting done. Before he pulled my tooth, dr and the nurse were behind me getting the stuff together and started discussing how busy they were. He then said "yeah we need more X-ray staff. I told them that my friend could do it but he's not certified. It's not like anyone would ever know" UM WHAT!? I went ahead and got my tooth pulled. Did great. I left and said to myself I'm not even going to complain. I'm sure this stuff happens all the time. I then had to return in April to get my other tooth removed. He numbed me, left me in there for about 20 minutes and after his return went to pull my tooth. The pain was so bad I almost had to grab his arm to make him stop. Then I look down and half of my tooth is crumbled in my lap. I said I was done. He referred me to an oral surgeon (thank god). I voiced my complaints to the man who called to follow up with me the next day. He assured me he would have a manager call. I haven't heard back in over a month even after an email and an extra call to the office. read more

So I will begin my review with the wonderful, kind front office staff who greeted me warmly. I also loved the dental assistant, who carried on great conversation and eased my mind. Dr Hu (sp?), was terrific! Honestly, if they took dental insurance they we would probably become my primary! My bridge fell out and I was so uncomfortable! They took me right away and reinserted the bridge. My only moment of shock was the fact that it we as 80 bucks to see the dentist and another 260 to cement the bridge back in. I complained to my co-workers who somehow thought that was reasonable given the "emergency room" nature of the business. All in all, I would definitely return and highly recommend them for your dental emergencies but be prepared to drop some coin! read more
