Finally visited Charlotte's Coffee House today, it's been on my "Want to go" list for a while every time I'm down in Iowa I don't usually drink latte but this Peanut Butter Latte really WOW-ed me. It was very yummy and not sweet at all. Their breakfast burrito was so warm and hearty. Very good experience for my first time and will definitely come back to try more menu items! 10/10 for cute space as well! I visited the University Ave drive through location. Very convenient to the vbro I was staying at. Staff were friendly and the menu is extensive. I come to all 3 locations all the time but today was NOT it! I went to the location on University and the women who took my order was rude.! She had a very clear fake nice voice and after everything I asked for she kept saying "anything else? anything else..." It was very obvious she did not want to be there. The whole interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable. You guys really need to up your standards because this is not how loyal customers should be treated. read more

In town visiting and decided to try out Charlotte's for coffee and breakfast. Very upbeat but relaxing restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. My favorite vanilla latte was delicious and I went with a bacon, egg biscuit which was absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed our meal. Definitely a must have if you want a delicious specialty coffee. They also had several delicious looking pastries but my breakfast filled me up. Super cute coffee and cafe spot in Dubuque! Even with it being extremely packed on Sunday morning service was too notch and went quickly. There is indoor seating for about 50 people. My fiancé and I sat in a secluded booth area which was super cozy and intimate. My fiancé had a turtle latte, he enjoyed it and said it was good. I tried it and thought it was sweet, creamy and a perfect way to start the morning. I had the pumpkin cold brew with cream and that was also delicious. Slightly bitter compared to the turtle latte however that's how I like my coffee. For food we shared the full portion of the veggie breakfast panini and both thought it was great! The eggs are light and fluffy, veggies were cooked well and the sourdough bread was the perfect bread choice for this. read more

I went to the Cedar Cross Road location and the place was very cozy and they have an outdoor patio over looking the trees. The vanilla decaf latte tasted awesome. Was so glad I was able to get the breakfast burrito in bowl. Loved, loved, loved the gluten-free peanut butter cookie, it was soft and delicious! Both times, we ordered a medium-roasted Ethiopian cold brew, which was a refreshing and welcome change from the so-so coffee that we had had on the road. I had a great experience here! Their menu has a wide variety of options from açaí bowls, paninis, salads and bakery items as well as regular and specialty coffee drinks. Place is dope. Food is delectable. Seating area is comfy and cozy which maybe basically the same adjective but I think you get the point. I forgot what food I ordered, but it was tasty. My sister ended up giving me half of her avacado toast and I scarfed it down faster than you can grind some espresso beans. Now, for the main hyped part of this review: the cappuccino. If you don't know, I have kind of a cult following (not really) due to my cappuccino reviews. I include service, presentation, and taste. The service was incredibly fast. 5/5 Presentation was worthy of an Instagram influencer or whatever they call themselves. 5/5 Taste was solid! I liked it! Delicious meal! My friend and I dine-in for a quick lunch. I love the kbbq quesadilla! I was skeptical at first but really wanted to try it. I'm usually a big fan of Charlotte's, but I had a disappointing experience today. I ordered an acai bowl to-go, and when I opened the bag at work, I found that the container was barely filled with acai puree and instead mostly contained bananas. When paying $7.00 for a small, I expected more. The other item we ordered was a panini, and when we opened the container, we realized it wasn't cut, and we didn't have utensils, so we had to tear it in half (It's a huge sandwich and if not cut, everything falls out). Normally, I enjoy their food but the service and quality seem to be slipping but their prices remain high. read more

Greetings. Charlotte's Coffee house has a homey and personal feel to it. When I walked in I was greeted by the cashier and was asked what I wanted. After ordering I was given a order number (I'd like to mention they have stickers on their tables so when you put your order number on it they see what table your at.) I took a seat outside on their patio. After a few moments a worker came out and kindly wiped the table of all dew for me, all in a very kind manner. After about 8 minutes I got my coffee on a plate with several chocolate covered coffee beans. The coffee was very sweet and a tad syrupy, however this was because I ordered their Peanut Butter Cup Latte which is a very sweet drink to begin with. The other coffee I have had here has been very well balanced, especially their Almond Joy Latte which I enjoyed the most. Thank you. We stayed in the vacation rentals upstairs over Christmas and ordered breakfast here twice. We were thrilled that they deliver upstairs and wear masks. They were great about social distancing inside the store as well. Highly recommend their custom drinks, cinnamon rolls, and breakfast paninis. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I noticed that they had a line for the full duration of my visit, but service was efficient and smooth the whole time. I felt very welcomed and didn't feel crowded or rushed. There's no way they only used three pumps of sugar-free vanilla because, honestly, it spiked my blood sugar after just one sip. This may be a bold statement, because there are so many great coffee shops in Dubuque, but this is the best one. Music is the perfect volume and they always have some great acoustic mix on. I love the variety of seating options. Today I'm just sitting at the bar, but even the bar stools are comfy. They even have an outdoor patio area. Coffee is top notch. Whether you're ordering an americano, regular cup of Joe or something more fancy, it's delicious. And they have some of my favorite breakfast foot options that are hard to find anywhere else like avocado toast, açaí bowls and breakfast burritos. Charlottes is so cute! I was visiting from Dallas and found this place. It was busy but they had lots of room to accommodate the crowd and the line to order moved quickly. They have your normal coffee & some fun ones. I tried the peanut butter coffee & the turtle. Both so good! The cinnamon roll I had was probably the best roll I'd ever had, I'm being dead serious. Perfect amount of all the flavors, flaky but also moist. The breakfast panini I had was very interesting. I liked it and it kept me full through lunch. Wish I would've come with more then 4 grapes though. Great place to work, hang with friends or just grab something to go. It's a must go to! read more

The food is definitely pricey for what you get. I got avocado bacon toast. The bacon was black and completely burnt. The avocado on the toast is also guacamole and has an overwhelming onion taste.
