Had my generator installed by a local electrician. Install was slow and took almost three years to complete. Wow! Last weekend we had a significant power outage. We were not home, first time the generator was to run under actual load conditions. We arrived home with CO alarms blazing caution. We had a problem, deadly odorless gas was in our home. In the midst of a terrible storm, the elctric went out and the generator failed to come on. Called CHARLOTTESVILLE GENERATORS, and was surprised to get an answer at 10:00 pm. Eric took my call, was very kind and supportive. He was 30 minutes away and finishing up another job, but promised to come out instead of waiting till morning, if that is what I wanted. Of course that is what I wanted! He was there very quickly, found his way to the generator without me coming out into the storm with him. In fact, he was hard at work before I even knew he was there. You know that feeling when you neighbor calls at 10pm and you are out of town? In my head I was thinking, God I hope my house isn't on fire! The call was to let me know that my whole house generator has been running for two hours and the power was on. We had gotten a text saying we lost power but it had returned. Thankfully my in-laws live close and could check it out. Unfortunately they couldn't get it off so I started calling around for after hours service. I used Mr. Dawson Charlottesville Generator to install my Generator or install my unit. I am 80 years old and still kicking strong thank God. I have never dealt with such an individual or group that is any more professional than this group. These people are so honest and professional once you meet them you will see what i am talking about. If you read any review are less than a 5 you have the wrong people. I was referred to Mr Dawson by a neighbor thank goodness i got him to install my generator. Mr Dawson gave an estimate that was very reasonable. I had other estimates and chose one to do my work and had to let them go for their dishonesty and got Dave. He will go out of his way to please you upon installation. When he estimated my job he underestimated the wire it took do to the layout of my house and having to go the distance of my house which took more wire him thinking the generator box was on the opposite side of the house. He came to me and said Ralph I did not figure the wire to go to the other side of the house can you just pay for the cost of wire i not only paid for the wire i think i tripled the amount i was so pleased he was please as well. We hit it off the bat. He came from the area where i grew up. I found he was honest and very professional. He and his group feel like family to me, They did a very professional job did not cut any corners whatsoever. He always answers my phone calls promptly. He and his business is so popular he will take 10 or more phone calls from people wanting him to install their unit. He gets right in there and works with his employee's as if he is also and employee. He has very few employee turnovers if any his employee's all like him. That is one good sign of a good and happy employee this day and time. I now have owned my generator going on two years never any problem whatsoever. If you do not call him to do your job you are making a mistake. I would rehire him in a minute to do my work. What I like about him most is his honesty and integrity. You can count on what he tells you and he will not sell you anything you don't need. Please give him a call you will not regret it. My dad always told me as I was growing up if you cannot take a person at his word leave them be. That is so true.
