    Paneer Tikka Masala

Great price tastes amazing! Always down for puri so first time I've seen two kinds like this, the traditional puri bhaji, and another that was larger that was cut into pieces then fried. Both were great and Paneer tikka masala to go with it was awesome!

I was in the vicinity. After a long customer service debacle at a nearby store, I arrive here around 3.30 pm .. hungry and burnt in the sun. The interior was pleasantly cool. Service good. Not many people. I had their Boneless Goat Biryani. It came with yogurt and sauce. It was good. In layers just the way Biryani should be. Nothing spectacular but not bad either. It was a huge portion. It made two meals for me. Very good value for money. Next time I plan to try their Chicken 65 Biryani.

Chicken Biryani, Hot and Sour Soup

I like this place, at least the dishes I had was good. Ordered that hot and sour soup (or it was the chicken bone soup), and chicken biryani. The soup was sooo spicy but perfect for a cold weather. Can't believe I finished the entire bowl. Biryani was yum too. It came with such as big bowl and turned out that it was just regular size. Service was a bit below the bar. We had to stop the waitresses from what they were doing to get their attention.

Chicken 65 (Dry), Karaikudi Goat Curry, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Biryani with garlic naan

We ordered some takeout for Friday night. I called in to place the order and the person took the order had a very strong accent, but they were patient with me. The whole order took quite long, about 40 minutes to be completed. We came to pick up but had to wait a while. There seem to be a lot of staff in the main dining room but not much activity. The restaurant looks very nice with ambient vibe. The menu is so so big with so so many options. We got the Chicken 65 (Dry), Karaikudi Goat Curry, Butter Chicken, and Chicken Tikka Biryani with garlic naan. Each dish is about 17-19$ so very reasonable. The food was so flavorful and had good amount of meat except the biryani. The naan were so soft and buttery. We loved everything we ordered even though the goat curry was very very spicy. I will definitely be back to try their dosa and other dishes.

    Gongura Chicken Biryani

This is my second time at this spot. I grew up in Hyderabad and was craving some spicy Andhra/Telengana cuisine. Over the two visits , We tried the Chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, the Spicy Chicken Temper biryani, the Goat Gongura Biryani, and the Vijayawada chicken Biryani. Taste was pretty spot on - thousands of fflavor profiles bombarding your taste buds and, at times, assaulting them with the spice! The portions are large. We took the leftovers for a good meal the following day! The kids also tried the Poori, which was amazing with Chana. The 70mm dosa, however, felt meh - the batter had a sweet tinge to it and threw us off. The service is decent. Overall, it was a good experience both times.

    Tandoor chicken

Lip smacking food. Had pleasant experience while dining in. Staffs are cordial. Food portion size is more than sufficient. Ambiance is very pleasant. Much recommended. By the way we could not finish all the food so we packed it back home.we had Boneless Goat Biryani and tandoori chicken.

    Hakka noodles with chicken

3.5 stars. Food was good. Not amazing. Got Hakka noodles with chicken and chicken lollipops. Servers were nice. Place is cute.

    Chicken 555 - with cashews.

I really enjoy the indian food here. The prices are reasonable and portions are very generous. I believe this restaurant used to be a different name - a chain from the states but they had to change their name for reasons unknown. I have tried their butter chicken which comes with rice or naan, their chicken Briyani and vegetable Briyani, chicken 555 and their onion dosa. I enjoy all the food that I ordered here. If you like spicy foods, chicken 555 would be perfect because it's made with a red chili sauce and cashews. The butter chicken is very flavourful and generous portions of the chicken and sauce compared to other Indian restaurants. The Briyani are good as well with lots of spices. I particularly liked the vegetable and paneer one more because I liked the mixture of vegetables and cubes of paneer. The dosa is huge and comes with a variety of sauces for your liking. Overall service is pretty good, typical of what you would find at an indian restaurant.

    MLa potlam biryani

This place used to be bawarchi before so wanted to try this new place. The menu was similar and even the ambience. I think the name was just changed and that's it.  Food: I liked it. Not the best biryani I had but decent for a vegetable paneer biryani.  MLA potlam biryani: there was this fancy biryani. Looked and sounded fancy however the meat was kheema style and blended so it was never like to taste the piece. Gulab jamun: really really good.

Visited On: November 23, 2019 Meal: Lunch Dining-Style: Dine-in Would I Return: Maybe Ordered: -Plain Dosa ($7.99) -Masala Dosa ($8.99) -2x Paneer Dosa ($10.99) Thoughts: Service The restaurant is located in a small plaza, so there's free parking available. Once you enter, the left side has a small section for take-out. The restaurant itself is a decent size and has some nice decor, such as light fixtures. We arrived around 1:00 PM and were seated right away. Service was standard and we didn't have to wait too long for food. Food Plain Dosa: crepe made with fermented lentil flour Masala Dosa: savoury crepe filled with mildly spiced mashed potatoes Paneer Dosa: medium crepe stuffed with shredded paneer The dosas were pretty basic and each came with 3 chutneys (coconut, tomato, peanut) and 1 sambar (lentil soup). The peanut chutney was new to me, but it was by far my favorite. The quantity of masala and paneer filling was very limited compared to what's served at other restaurants. I was expecting a paneer curry, but it looked like it was just plain shredded paneer and because of this, you especially don't get a lot of it. We requested the masala and paneer to be made spicy but neither were. For good dosas, you're better of going to Subiksha Foods. Although, the restaurant isn't as nice as Charminar, you get better quality and quantity for less than what you would pay here. If I do return, it would probably be to try the biryani.

Social media had done its work, flooding my feed with the golden bowls of appa from Colombo street stalls and rooftop eateries across the island. The question was whether this unassuming Scarborough plaza outpost could answer that call. It could, and it did. Hopper Hut occupies a modest space tucked into a nondescript strip mall on Ellesmere Road -- a setting that makes no architectural promises and need not. The dining room at the back is functional and warmly utilitarian, evoking the no-frills confidence of a kitchen that trusts its food entirely. The atmosphere is decidedly casual, bordering on spartan, yet there is something deeply familiar and unhurried about it -- a kind of timeless, neighbourhood authenticity that more polished establishments spend years trying to manufacture. The hoppers themselves are the undisputed centrepiece, and they deliver with conviction. Fermented rice-flour batter, lacework-crisp at the edges, yielding and softly chewy at the bowl's centre -- the texture is precisely what the form demands. One is advised, however, to receive them with immediacy: like all great bread, the hopper is a creature of the moment. The short journey home diminishes their crispness in a way that no reheating can fully redeem. Plan accordingly.

Our server was able to keep our order in mind despite us being a party or 10. That was impressive. As for ambience. Honestly was kinda outdated but felt like a piece of home.
