Pharmacy... my insurance company says my "responsibility" is $22. CHAS pharmacy wants to charge over $2,000.

If you complain too greatly about legitimate issues, you can expect a threatening phone call from "Risk Management." ( hint: YOU'RE the risk. ) I am sure there are decent, caring, healthcare professionals at CHAS Spokane, but many of them are pointlessly rude, cold, and uncaring, and full of excuses for their abject incompetence. p.s. Can I give negative stars? Why is it so difficult to get them to actually give me the meds that are prescribed to me by a doctor? I have been on adhd meds for almost 3 years and TWICE out 30 fills, has it been a smooth process... 28 times out of 30 fills its has been a shitshow. Fuck CHAS and their doctors too. read more

I was going to a private practice in which I was very displeased. My friend suggested going to CHAS so I gave it a try. I was so pleased and I'm glad I went there! The Southgate medical clinic is very clean, the receptionists friendly and everyone is helpful. I found it interesting that a partially public funded non-profit could be more efficient than a private office but they are. Prescriptions refilled quickly, referrals on the spot, no undue waiting, and the ability of tele-visits. All things that were slow and cumbersome, or not available, at the private office I left. read more

Tried to get a referral to an RA doctor because I'm having issues with my joints which my doctor, the doctor I saw never even looked at me she's going off of the fact that I don't have markers, it doesn't matter whether I have markers or not you don't have to have markers to have it besides that it's not just for RA. This doctor has seen me face to face one time. I found another doctor who I will be going to in June. I have never seen a place behave like this. This is not good healthcare this is a doctor thinking she is god. When a patient doesn't agree with the doctor they just refer you on. You do not take it personally. God go back to school. You certainly do not spread rumors and talk about your patient with others without your consent. I've seen my doctor one time face to face. People these are not doctors yet. They are new or just learning. Do not go here. This is safety issue. I leave for another place thank god and I can't wait. These aren't doctors run away from this place they spread rumors the most toxic place I have ever seen. This is new grad stuff. These are new doctors so they are not even real doctors yet. I have a graduate degree and I work in the medical field for 20 years and this is so unprofessional. Normally when you see a doctor and you don't agree with what the doc is saying they just refer you on, that's what a good doctor who's confident and competent in their skills does. Not run around and try to cause the patient problems real good patient care I'm telling you. It's a toxic environment full of people who are holy uneducated and brand new and it is really obvious. I've been a patient at the CHAS North office as long as they've been open. And I've always felt they were adequate for my needs. This week I've had a very severe cold with a fever, extreme muscle aches, and the whole bit. The Spokesman-Review just ran an article about Covid making a come-back in the county so I thought it would be a good idea to get tested. So I called them. The lady who answered the phone didn't speak English very well and after several tries, she finally thought I was asking about a vaccine. So she transferred me to the pharmacy. We got that cleared up--after being on hold awhile--and the pharmacist transferred me to the CHAS emergency clinic. More hold time. I was then told that CHAS no longer administers Covid tests unless you come in, see a doctor, pay your co-pays, and get a "prescription" for a test. And this from a health care organization who spearheaded the very successful and massive testing campaign four years ago. Something sure seems off. read more

They deal with every addict in Spokane so they treat everyone like an addict. Went in for a broken tooth cause Acetaminophen wasn't cutting it and I have another month wait before chas dental can see me. Their solution take way more Acetaminophen. Never mind the fact that it's horrible for your liver... I tried supporting this place because they do an ok'ish to so so'ish job for the poor but I am done being treated like an addict. read more

I was 5 when this occurred so there was nothing I could do about this at the time. But I was going in to either get cavities filled or a tooth pulled, I don't remember which. But instead, the incompetent doctors didn't ensure they had the right chart. And they ripped out 2 of my baby molars that were perfectly fine, and then the tooth they were supposed to remove. This would have been fine, but they didn't numb me for this procedure at all. My mom came in the room eventually after her dental procedure to see dental assistants holding me down. They called me dramatic for screaming and crying, but they were ripping teeth out of my head with no numbing solution at all. They were essentially torturing a 5 year old. My mom to this day regrets not suing. Do not bring your family here, we didn't even get an apology and they threw away my teeth afterwards. This occurred in 2005. read more

Today Dr. Sagayer Finished My Root Canal, Saving My Front tooth' I saw Few Dentist Before Dr. Sagayer and YES they wanted To Pull That same tooth that Was Able To Be Saved As Dr. Sagayer Work Intensely Over A Period of time to save the tooth that was Able to Be Saved As it is. It's hard these Days to find A Dentist To Actually Take time on A Patient instead of just rushing thru to do quickest job They can to do, which in there eyes jus pull it or Any Available Quick Solution instead Doing the job they are trained to Do,; I feel Apologetic to when I Leave Dentist and know that others waiting on there Dentist are not going to be in the Best Care and Highest regards to there Teeth being RIGHT as My family and I with Dr. Sagayer Being The ONLY Dentist for Us. If I could give this clinic zero stars, I would. My daughter went to the clinic today & the doctor & staff were grossly (i.e. malpractice inept & ignorant). My child was so very sick. After a 3 hour fiasco we ended up leaving & going elsewhere. Chas also ROYALLY messed up my daughter's prescriptions. I spent 2 hours haggling with Chas advocating for my daughter's health, which they HORRIBLY put at risk with their negligence. I went to Owl Pharmcy, also in Cheney, & they efficiently had us on our way, meds in hand, 30 minutes later. The staff at Chas Clinic are ignorant buffoons. If you value your children's health &/or that of your own, you will do yourself a favor by avoiding this clinic. read more

I am very happy with the dental department at CHAS. Great people from Dental Hygienists to Dentists...People at front desk are also great!

Angela the counselor at the Cheney location is one of worst counselors I have ever encountered. I came to her for counseling in regards to anxiety and loss and she was incredibly dismissive. She frequently told me she couldn't talk to me about my mental problems until my physical problems were under control-- seriously the worst. I find it surprising that she is even qualified to do this job. I left a session with her feeling worse than when I came. read more

I have been seen twice now for dental. I am so IN LOVE with their staff. They are friendly, assuring, calming, trained, helpful... I could go on for awhile with positive words. I had a tooth extraction done by Lori Weber and her staff. SHE WAS AMAZING! Quick, payed attention to my needs, no bruising, swelling and the next day pain is surprisingly moderate. I will recommend her to all I know as well as the clinic in general. Thank you for taking the time to have employees who care. It means everything to some! read more
