this branch needs a better manager, The ATMS are never stocked or working. Also no AC turned up on.

I had an atm issue at another branch. When I can to this branch. Aurelia Anguis stepped up and took the time to get it handled. At one point she was calling the atm company on one phone. She then called the branch manager of the other branch on her cell phone. It took her over an hour on the phone, but she refused to give up till I was taken care of. I've been here three times trying to open myself an account and each time I'm turned away, the most recent being because they said I did not schedule an appointment, even though I got the email saying I scheduled the appointment. I also haven't been able to open an online account and when I asked in person why, the receptionist responded "Its just like that". As a college student the only available times open during the week aren't accommodating as I'm in class all day and having to wait until next weekend to open my account means I'm not able to receive my financial aid from the school, meaning I have no resources or supplies able to be successful. I've been trying to open my account since the summer. A special thank you to the unhelpful employees who offered me not one solution as to what can be done in regards to the online account or why I was being turned away. read more

I was at the branch at valley view & ball earlier and the reps there had no one in the branch and wanted to make me an appointment for the next day to do a 5 minute compromise/account number change. I drove up to this branch and Edgar did it in less than 5 minutes. Staff is fast and helpful. Will be going to them for any additional help. read more

worst bank in the history of banks. If u have other options please pursue those. I have been with chase for 3 years. I recently deposited a check for 3,000. They put a 10 day hold on it... that is truly unacceptable under any circumstance. Not just this branch but chase bank as a whole. I have had so many different issues with Chase. They didn't give the right amount of money when I went in to cash out my check. I never had a problem with them before. This is the 1st. I'm missing just 1 bill of $20. I'm devastated. A gentleman named Edgar Laudato took care of me on 6/20/18. I originally came to the bank to open a savings account - I'm a recent graduate from UC Irvine and I honestly had no idea what to do with my graduation money before I head to grad school lol. You often think that bankers are limited to their work, but I felt that he truly cared about my situation and ultimately this speaks volume about his character as a person. Edgar helped me open a savings account, was very patient with all my questions even if the bank was going to close in a couple of minutes, punctual, and took a consultative approach, which essentially made my decision-making much easier. Most students face the trouble of getting approved for a credit card. I personally have tried 6 times (feels like a lot, but surprisingly it's not) and felt a little discouraged about trying again. Edgar cleared up my misconceptions of building/losing credit. All hesitations in applying again were out the roof and just like that, I was able to be approved for my first credit card, which is really exciting! I walked out the door learning more about my account and different techniques to have good credit than I have from my own parents (not exaggerating at all lol). Thank you Edgar for understanding, empathizing, and providing solutions for my situation. You are not a relationship banker that only does their job, but also goes above & beyond and works with compassion. That is what really irked me to write this yelp review. Arghhhhh this is why I REFUSE to bank with chase.... This is a joke..... My paycheck is written out of a chase account. I went went here to cash my paycheck, because I wanted to just deposit cash into my back account. I wanted the cash to be available because it's thanksgiving week. It took them 35 minutes to cash the check because they had to call my employer..... THREE CHASE EMPLOYEES CALLED MY EMPLOYER... ARE YOU KIDDING ME. on top of that they charged me 10.00 to cash the check because I didn't have a chase account. I was annoyed because the manager gave me a attitude about not having a chase account. And then Argh so frustrating!!!!! I will never bank here EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had nothing but a good experience banking with Chase. Unfortunately they have done what a lot of other locations have begun to do. They close down several other windows. And added to Auto tellers to replace them. I happen to prefer human interaction when I am baking.someone they can ask how your day is going and give you a warm smile. The machine can do all your banking purposes for you. But I cannot ask how your days going. read more

Go to Chase credit card services if you want to get frustrated. They make online enrollment too difficult with obsolete data and then have the guts to hang up on your call when you are holding for hours! That is a very poor customer service. Shame on them! read more

Tried to make a deposit for my Hotel who has huge corporate account and was attempted denied due to money laundry! What a joke had all my I'd slips etc printed! I went to Chase to exchange dollars from my account to euros. The branch manager led me to believe that there would be an even exchange of my dollars of 1.13 for one euro. And that I could return any un-used euros for dollars back to my account free of charge. I trusted him and later found out that I was charged $47 for the transaction. There would also be an additional charge to deposit the un-spent euros back into my chase account. I also have a Bank of America ATM card that I could use in Rome with an affiliated BLN Bank for free. If the Chase manager would have been up-front about the expenses, I would have walked. Now it's too late. Once the transaction is done, no one at the branch or on line will help...Beware of smiling branch managers. This is a totally deceptive business practice. read more

Really no tellers not everything could be done by a ATM. Every time I come here I see the bankers trying to show elderly people or people who don't speak English how to use the machine it sad but funny they make a ton of mistakes and would have been so much easier just going to a teller. I guess you have to pay a teller and they figure machines don't cost money but you have to pay the bankers which earn more than tellers to show people how to use the ATM. This bank needs hire tellers I keep having Spanish speaking customers telling me how much they hate trying to figure out how to use the machine and that there going to switch banks and you guys are right in front of a Home Depot too. Plus people in walkers trying to figure out how to use ATM machine for a deposit when they could barley keep there balance while standing. Not good invest in the local economy hire people Cali needs more jobs not machines that could barley do the job. read more
