They never have more than 1 (usually 1) or two folks working that can help you with actual banking )opening accounts, wire transfers, etc.). I've never waited less than 45 minutes to be helped. NEVER. The manager just sits in her office, does nothing to jump in and help the folks in line. When asked, she has a super snotty attitude and usually makes some excuse for why she can't help. Banked with Chase for over 25 years, never seen anything like this. They will be losing my account and I'll be going back to Chase. I only opened an account here because I moved nearby, but I'd rather travel to go back to my old Chase bank. DO NOT DO BUSINESS AT THIS LOCATION.

The staff is very friendly and say hello to you when you pull up. Every lane in the drive-through was filled when I pulled up but I didn't have to wait very long. When this location is busy with a lot of cars I always see at least two people working at the counter. They are quick and efficient.

CONFIRMING IS LIKE PULLING TEETH IF THEY ARE ACTUALLY WORKING WHEN YOU NEED TO MAKE A PURCHASE. Sometimes they just reject transactions for "Potential Fraudulent Activity" and shut down your card. You have to walk away from the sales counter, unable to access your own money and talk to them later. The mobile app? A joke. Fingerprint scan, passwords, etc and they STILL make you re-verify by asking your great grandmother's maiden name and the street you grew up on. It's great security right? Helps you to keep your money secure? HAH! I've had one company fraudulently take money out of my account on TWO occasions now. Provident Customer Service told me essentially "too bad, work it out with them directly". All of this security to inconvenience you, the account holder and keep YOU away from YOUR money while other businesses can take what they want. Ridiculous.

Originally was a customer for over 33 years before a few things happened which forced me to lose an account with them. Their holiday and vacation accounts are pretty good. They do not have a monthly minimum that you have to have in the account. Savings accounts I believe are a $500 minimum. What is good about this bank is that they do no charge a monthly fee.

Bad experience over stupid things. Would have understood if it was reasonable. They did give us our fee charges back but we were at the bank for over an hour. Our transaction sheet shows our balance never being in negative only at exactly 0. Other fee must have come from a gas check fee, but makes no sense because the total gas amount came out evenly and did not set the amount negative. The new T.D. is much worst and fee laden in comparison to our old friend Commerce. Can't wait until July, 2010 in which banks can no longer charge any type of debit/credit card fee!

In early October, I received a letter indicating that VNB would be upgrading its systems, including those related to mortgage servicing. They changed the format of the monthly invoice for my mortgage (for the better). I received the invoice one day before it was due. This is not my complaint. Due to the modification, my quarterly property taxes, which would have been paid from escrow near the end of October, were never dispersed. After calling their service desk I found out that they are *manually* processing payments. It is now Oct 18 has I have received a notice from my town that I am delinquent. I am trying to work this out with VNB currently to ensure my credit rating is not damaged. Note to VNB's IT department: 1. Test your changes prior to releasing it. 2. Don't make a major change two weeks before property taxes are due. Sigh
