Eventually the assistant vice President, store manager came over to help. She said they were shortstaffed because they promoted 2 people. help me understand how America's most convenient bank would promote two people prior to backfilling the position and leave customer standing in line. Much to my dismay , no funds were received. Mind you historically I receive wire transfer funds within 2-3 days. Thus, I was pretty sure I submitted everything according to plans. No to be so, after a whole week of no money, I began hysterically looking for a solution! I contacted everyone in the desperate attempts to locate why I had not received any funds in my bank account. Mind you, the wired amount was by no means a small amount. It was not insignificant either. Thus I called my bank first, no deposit. I called my Bank in the Philippines, they said unequivocally the funds had been transferred successfully and this matter is now closed. I immediately began a frantic call to BNY their staff had indeed located the funds however my initiating bank of the Philippines neglected important information regarding my account number. While BPI claimed to have wired the funds their department failed to include additional critical information. BNY thank you for continuing to provide support, and excellence in your performance. With all due respect. I am so happy Paula also went the extra distance and offered support above and beyond. Truly grateful.
