Was told you can only use Chrome browser for online banking (I am using Firefox). Ticket was closed as resolved. First of all, that was a response, not a resolution. My counter-response is that Chrome is neither available to me nor desirable. My suggestion that I bank elsewhere appears to be agreeable to them. Side comment: I find that overall, especially in Gig Harbor, the post-COVID customer service attitude seems to be one of utter incompetence and apathy. Not only do they charge fees to cash checks--even when the check writer is one of their own account holders--but this is the same bank that was caught opening unauthorized accounts for customers without their consent. Charging people for basic services while engaging in fraudulent practices shows a total disregard for ethical banking and customer trust. I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone. Their priorities are profits, not people.

Stephanie Hood and her team located a local branch and arranged a fast and easy experience for me and my wife. We got to the credit union, opened an account right on the spot and signed all the docs in a fast and professional manner. The process, I went down to a place in Oregon for a 2011 Victory Cross Roads that I purchased by credit card (points ) came up with a 30 day trip permit and went shopping for the best rate. I come to find out that car loans and motorcycle rates are the same at Harborstone and I couldn't pass that up. I called in and within 1 day I got an approval pending membership. Since the title was coming from Oregon I simply took it in and they did the rest. That simple. Moving my bank accounts (goodbye Chase, it's not Washington Mutual) is our next thing to do. I look forward to working with Harborstone for a very long time.
