Winter Marie was the banker delt with and it was impressive. The building is new, smells good (unlike Ronkonkoma) and more about relationship banking then just banking. I recommend Winter to anyone that is looking for a new bank or just need to see a change and deal with people that understand the importance of service and knowledge. My husband and I are in the process of trying to buy a house. There is no getting around heading to the bank to "make some money moves" (LOL). Begrudgingly him and I went to this location and I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and painless our visit was. This location is a bit on the smaller side, so right off the bat I was less apprehensive on the task at hand. Upon walking in we saw empty host desk, but was greeted moments later and apologies were made for the wait. We didn't wait that long but I was appreciative of the sentiment. One of the financial advisor, Carolyn, was able to meet with us right away. she was able to advise us on our accounts and was also able to do what we asked fairly quickly. She also notified us of other tools that we could take advantage of through online banking. The one thing I mostly appreciated was she did not try to upsell us, rather she was mostly informative. It made what could be a very stressful errand not so stressful.

The woman who sat with us very very helpful and pleasant, and even though they were busy we didn't have to wait long to sit and speak with her. We needed to open another account and were really torn whether to stay with them, but decided to give them another chance since we've been banking with them over 10 years. I'm hopefully optimistic that our issues are addressed and we can keep using TFCU as our bank. If that turns out not to be the case, I'll report back. They treated us like value customers and wanted to help, so that says something. Fingers crossed.

This use to be the best bank. I have a home loan, auto loan, and all regular accounts there. Ever…read moresince they switched to "FourLeaf" which they claimed was strictly just a name change, it's all gone down hill. I use to pay my mortgage directly with a transfer. Now it's a complicated process that takes days to withdraw. I am very disappointed in the company transition. On a positive note, the new ATM with different bill options is nice.
