Day of the big meeting: five minutes of us clarifying our basic needs - we're prepared and ready to cut through and get moving, we've got a business to run!!! Next fifty-five minutes? A conversational fog so thick I'm pretty sure we discussed my childhood pets and the federal reserve at the same time. She nods sagely and says the magic words: "I'll email you a proposal." Week one: radio silence. Week two: same frequency, still nothing. Week three: I poke the bear. Two days later I get the classic "Sorry, out of office, here's some PDFs I definitely didn't just grab off the lobby counter." Yep. The exact same glossy "Business Banking Solutions" brochure you can pick up while waiting for the bathroom key. Zero personalization. Zero proposal. Just recycled paper and broken dreams. Look, the customer-service bar in banking is already doing the limbo under a snake's belly. Columbia Bank didn't just limbo... they limbo'd, tripped, and face-planted into the "we'll get back to you" abyss. On to the next bank. My mom's legacy remains untarnished. Their appointment book, however, is now legendary.

I love this bank because it's local, they know your name when you call or come in . They're very professional and extremely knowledgeable in banking. I would like to reference the manager, Rick, who is exceptional, friendly helpful and always there, If something comes up that needs an answer. I love working with Lyric and Emily, especially after my husband passed away, and there were so many things that had to be taken care of with relationship to my bank accounts. I love the fact that I can call them and talk on the phone. They know who I am talking f I have any questions or need information. Many of the banks in Carson City treat you like numbers, they don't know who you are. They don't form personal relationships with you, At least that was my experience with helping friends with their banking situations . Every year they have a customer appreciation event with food which is very nice to be treated so well. Lastly there's always chocolate or some kind of candy and bottles of water, that's not the only reason I bank there, but I can tell you it certainly is nice to have a treat while you're waiting for your transaction to be taken care of. Arlington in Reno yesterday. After explaining what I was trying to do, she was able to sit down with me, gather the information needed to apply for the loan and I was quickly approved. She was super friendly, very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I was able to reduce my monthly payment and lower the interest rate. SPCU was able to accomplish what I wanted to achieve easily. This was a positive experience for me and I highly recommend SPCU and am considering doing additional business with them in the future.
