The staff never acknowledges me as a local who is in the bank several times a month. Turnover is constant and no one seems to know any common procedures. Often I have to wait for a manager to solve the problem. When I need the manager to open an account, I have waited up to 30 minutes to do so. This time my new debit card was sent to my street address instead of my P.O. Box.. We do not have street delivery in Incline. They should know that and I did remind them at the time. I didn't get my card and no oe reached out to me to say it had been returned for incorrect address. I had to go in to the bank and fill out the forms again!! So it will be over three weeks until I get my debit card (hopefully). No friendly customer service here.

I needed a car and was immediately denied because the one I was interested in was over 120k miles and almost exactly 10years old. It didn't matter that I had a glowing credit score and a regular paycheck because according to this banker "nothin that old with that mileage should cost you more than about a thousand bucks anyway" ....Flabbergasted at your naive concepts of current auto prices when you are suppose to be a financial professional granting auto loans. Half the town if Truckee drives either a Subaru or Toyota because they are safe, reliable, drive well over 120k miles and are in high demand, upward price tags reflect this. The going rate for a Subaru Outback in excellent condition at 10yrs and 120k mile is between $6-10k. I shouldn't have to explain to my bank what reliable automobiles cost in real life. I ended up in Reno getting a loan from a dealership who easily and happily financed me for a Subaru because they actually LOOKED at my pay stub, my expenses, my credit, and gave me a 4 yr payment plan I could afford. Pretty bummed that my bank, the "Bank of America" straight up denied me without even a glance at my finances. Employees following bank policy is one thing, but when the policy sucks and the employees idea and comment that I should be able to afford just about anything else is unprofessional, naive, discomforting, and makes me want to do my financing elsewhere.
