I have some friends, family and clients in this area so I'm in this area quite often when I'm visiting them, but I try my best to avoid actually going inside this bank because of how poor they treat their customers inside. As others pointed out this location often has only one person working the teller by their self and even if the line gets real long the other employees do not offer to help that one teller out leaving all of us in line for a very long time with no help in sight! I've heard numerous times that this bank caters to WHITE people first and foremost from many people of color who always complain and I saw a lot of people of color always upset/complaining about discrimination or how they are not provided with any decent respect because they are not white. That short bald fat Latino looking man(or he could be Persian or middle eastern?) seems to be some type of manager but again he does not help the one teller out who's handling the big long lines all by his self/her self. This same short bald fat Latino looking man always helps white people first even if they are in the back of line, maybe it's because he assumes they are depositing larger amounts? Or God knows why he would do that? Whats funny is me being a person of color and 3 other people in line all NON WHITE as well we all own businesses and even have business accounts with Chase, but he assumes the White person in line is some how more special and important than the rest of us even though we actually own businesses and have business accounts with Chase and we were in front of the white person he goes to help before even looking our way! CHASE do you not have anyone better to manage this location? Perhaps someone who's actually qualified and professional enough not to discriminate against NON White people? CHASE please manage this location better and always have multiple tellers working and helping each other out. This location also never says hi to you or waves to you or smiles at you like most of the other Chase locations do. It's similar to walking onto a shady used car lot where NO ONE has your best interest at heart as soon as you set foot into this place. I walk in expecting a normal bank experience, but wow, did this dive of a bank surpass all expectations. This overweight Latino guy who works for the bank leans in and says, as rudely as possible, "do you have business here sir?". I tell him I'm just waiting for my mom to do some banking and ask if I can use the bathroom. He says "no, for security reasons, we don't let anyone use it". I say fine, then he leans in again and says "excuse me sir, I asked if you have any business here". Then, shocked I walk out and see my mom enter, she's in her late 70s and we'd both driven over an hour tp meet there. She's being treated pleasantly and the guy offers to let me use the bathroom. After throwing me out. I'm a doctor, I don't exactly give off a sketchy vibe. I say, "no, I'm going to use the bathroom outside and do you know what q dick this guy has been?" Then, as I'm leaving to find a bathroom he yells after me I'm not helping this guy!!!" Then, he throws my mom out, which I find out after I find and use a bathroom. I have tried to figure out any reason for this behavior and the only thing I've come up with is that I'm a well dresssed white guy. Seriously. I was polite to this overweight troll. If you are a well dressed white male, avoid this branch your ethnicity matters here. This is the first time in my life this has EVER happened. This branch needs to go. read more

My husband came here for the ATM. Even though there is no drive-thru, there is an ATM just inside the lobby doors. The area seems safe.

I normally go the branches in Orange for my transactions but I was near this location. My business and personal account are attached and wanted to move a business check to the personal account which has never been a problem at any other location in Orange for years, the lady turned me away because she kept on saying that my personal and business are separate. I didn't even swipe my card so how does she know? After she called me a liar when I told her that all the other branched have done this for years with no problem, I just left and did this transaction in Orange without a problem. Convenient Chase location on the Irvine side of The Market Place. It is a standalone location that is across the parking lot from a branch of Bank and America and a Target store. This bank has a drive-up teller which is convenient if you don't have a lot of time. The bank teller booths inside are glassed up, not that it makes a difference to me. Stopped in to make a deposit along with transfer money from one Chase account to another which were both taken care of correctly and efficiently. If you are shopping at the Market Place, this Chase location is convenient and the service is good. read more

Lorenzo Gonzalez wasted company time, a long time, by being dismissive and combative simply because he didn't know what an endorsement guarantee was. He printed out a worthless piece of paper that caused us to have to leave a meeting and find another Chase to get the proper stamp. All he had to do was pass it on to someone knowledgeable. When we got to the second Chase, the banker rolled her eyes at whatever mess of a paper he'd printed. He took it upon himself to make it up apparently. Our time is valuable, just like his. Their ATM between the front doors and before the inside of the bank ate my money. Usually, I count my cash before depositing money but this time, I had to get money into my savings account and it was my tips I made from the week. I deposited my first half of cash and the screen came up as normal and told me the amount I put in and what's the next step I want to do. I chose the option to "deposit more" and after I deposited it, an "ERROR" screen popped up and said "We're having some trouble. To make sure your deposit went through, please call..." EXCUSE ME? "TO MAKE SURE YOUR DEPOSIT WENT THROUGH...." I just deposited a large sum of money into the atm and it's not sure it went through. I immediately checked my account on my phone and there was no confirmation or pending that my cash had been deposited. I talked to a banker and they filed a claim. They gave me "temporary credit" a day later but because I didn't have the exact amount. They gave me an estimated sum of money. I have not heard back since. No one has reached out to me. I have not had my real money deposited and into my bank account. They said they'd send someone to count the actual money I deposited but really really really? Is that going to happen? How would they know? And if so, WHY HAVEN'T THEY DONE IT or followed up? That's a complete JOKE. I have proof of my claim, proof of the error screen, there's proof on cameras in the bank that I deposited a ton of cash. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will not continue to go this LOCATION. Why was there not a sign that said no depositing cash? Or was I just the first person it happened to? Not ever going back to this location again. Seriously. This is real people's actual MONEY we're talking about. This affects people's lives. read more

This is one of the best branches in the area. It is nearly brand new and the staff is very friendly. The branch has 2 drive-up ATM's and a drive-up teller as well as 2 walk-in ATM's. The inside is very nice and open layout. They have the new e-tellers as well which is really cool. They essentially replace the teller. Personally, I'm a fan for real people, so I used the e-teller once for its novelty and now just use the people. read more

I like this location so much more than the location near downtown Tustin. I have to deposit my rent monthly into my landlord's bank account so I HAVE to visit a teller - no ATMs for me. This Chase location makes it as painless as possible. It's super clean inside and there is usually never anyone in line. If there is one or two people in line, another employee seems to appear from nowhere and quickly help those who are waiting. It's never taken me more than 5 minutes to get in here, fill out the deposit slip, process the deposit slip with a teller, get a receipt, and leave. I've tried the other location near DT Tustin since it's close to other errands (Trader Joe's, Walgreen's, etc) but that one had a much longer line. Parking is easy in this portion of the Marketplace. Plus, it's in the same part of the Marketplace as Target so you can quickly go spend all the money you just deposited on rose gold cookware and other things you didn't know you needed when you went to buy toilet paper! read more

Came here to deposit a check from my retirement account and was turned away. The tellers had no clue what they were looking at. Apparently they have never seen this type of check and had formed they're own conclusion to turn me away even after I told them I spoke with the Chase representative on the phone. Deposited $6700 to the ATM at this location on 06.07.21 at 11:44pm, i waited several days no money in my account, i called on 06.14.21 at 4:15pm after 20 min being on hold a lady picked up the phone after 35 min talking and explaining she were asking same question, she put me on hold 6 times every time for 2 to 5 min,she was doing her own things instead of helping while she was putting me on hold, after 35 min talking to her she said i placed the dispute and at the end i told her transfer me to supervisor and she hang up on me and did not placed the dispute, she knew what what she was doing thats why she didn't wanted to be cached thats why she hang up, she must get notice or get laid off she just waste peoples time and kill her hourly while she is doing her own things Beside the ATM this branch is not good at all and i dont even feel going inside and talking to tellers most of them are rude or try to scape from what they suppose to do read more

I called to try and set up an appointment for a mortgage with Thomas. Every other lender I've spoken to has been very friendly and helpful but he was the polar opposite. I asked if he could send me some basic questions online so I can go in and get rates quickly without the hassle of dealing with my baby while he crunches numbers. He replied "No!" All the other lenders I've been shopping around with would ask the basic questions: Type of property, loan amount, type of loan, salary, credit score.... to speed up the process. He said it's not possible at all to ask or answer any questions online and we can only deal in person. Lenders should be friendly and helpful but he obviously never learned this. I don't know how this guy would gain any business. I would never recommend anyone to go here for a mortgage unless they want to miss their closing date because if it's that hard to get a meeting, then imagine how hard the whole process would be! Yesterday I dealt with a guy at Wells Fargo who actually wasn't in the office, but drove 20mins to come and meet with us. He was so nice and super helpful. Answered all my questions and I never felt rushed by him even though we were there until after the bank closed! hands down best chase bank i have ever been to... first off, location. its next to all the shops i go to when running my errands so its convenient. i was wondering when they would open a closer chase bank. this also means there is plenty of parking so no more having to deal with small parking lots and me having to walk from somewhere super far. on my first trip here i had a great experience! that day they were having difficulties with their computers and a man helped me deposit my money with the indoor atm and was very friendly in helping me out. i left very happy. other experiences i have had here are pleasant. after being shown how easy it is to deposit cash into the atms i have used their drive thru (2 atms!) to deposit cash and its SO easy! i also have begun using their after hours (access by inserting your card which makes me feel safe) atm inside their lobby. i love this location and will continue to make deposits here! you should too :) read more

Wow, they have great service here. Every time I come in here for a transaction, I'm always greeted and I have never waited to see a personal banker. I must say that this isn't as busy as the ones up in LA. If you're in a rush, they have these new "ATM's" installed in teller windows that are basically the same as dealing with a teller, when you need to make simple deposit and withdrawal transactions. They also always have coffee and one time.....one time the had Otis Spunkmeyer cookies with a toaster oven to warm it up. I still wonder what happened to the cookies. :( read more

The customer service is poor here. I tried to cash my cashier check here and they refused to cash it although the cashier check was from Chase and I have an account with Chase. My cashier check had no expiration and it was from 2011. They said it expires in 3 years although it doesn't have an expiration date and all other cashiers have a 7 year expiration. I went to another location and in less then 5 minutes I had my check cashed. The people here do not know what they were doing. read more
