Went in to change my last name on my cards/account since I recently just got married. Took in everything, new SS card, multiple forms of ID, marriage license and the girl who helped us didn't even know what a social security card was. She kept saying "social security cards are if you're under 18" which my husband told her no, that is not true. She also asked us multiple times if we were from the USA, which was very uncomfortable. She ended up saying she couldn't help us change my last name on my accounts and I needed to call the number on the back of my card. We won't be back to this facility. read more

I like coming to this branch because it's new and close to my house. I've never had any issues here, but today the teller Lupita was very lackluster and acted like I was inconveniencing her by coming in. I just did a simple withdrawal and she initially said that she couldn't find my account information even though I had completely filled out a withdrawal slip with my account information. She asked me for my SSN and then said nevermind. I asked her if she needed it again after a minute and nothing was happening, but she said she didn't. Overall, not impressed with the customer service provided today. She definitely is a vibe killer! read more

the one time I ask for a fee to be refunded, I get a hard No!!! first at the branch they can't help you and they would have you call customer service, you call customer service and they say wire fees are not reversible, I worked at different major bank, and I mainly bank at other banking institutions were they refund fees based on your relationship and history, specially when you get one fee every 5 years or so,its only $15 that they rather lose a client and not lose $15, I will close my savings and move it elsewhere read more

Very disappointed at one of the bank managers. I had a situation with an over draft charge on a Wednesday day after January 1st. I got the notice Wednesday morning and could t come up with the money until later afternoon. I was able to deposit the CASH (at 830-9 pm) WHEN I woke up Thursday I was charged with 3 insufficient fund fees which caused me to overdraft again. I went into the bank at lunch and explained my situation, the bank manager explained that after 8pm it's to late to deposit and actually laughed when I said well that's not fair. I told him I didn't find anything funny about my situation. He reimbursed 2 out of the 3 insufficient fund fees which is still bogus. He said there was nothing he could do and didn't even apologize for laughing. Very disappointed in the outcome of that situation. read more

I am headed to the gym, and I realized I needed twenty one-dollar bill. And so I saw this Chase branch, and I was like cool- coz I didn't need to wait till I arrive in Cypress where I live. It was on a Friday afternoon, and the bank was so empty. Usually, banks are full on a Friday, or at least there are more than one on line waiting to be serviced. This bank defies the norm. Which I like it. Hey, I am the only person, so the transaction would be faster, right? Right. It was my first time here, btw. It was so strange walking in, in a bank where you feel like all the staffs are looking at you. I was like, okay- stop staring. It felt like I was in trouble or something, "Cause I knew you were trouble when you walked in" sound-a-like. And so, after I filled out the withdrawal slip, I stood at the waiting line but the staffs seems busy, I think they were about to close and that they were tallying their money in money out. This gal, sweet looking gal was so courteous as she told me to be patient in waiting, but I was like, it's okay- I am good. Then I got in to the window- and that gal was the branch manager, She was like- I am sorry to keep you waiting. She was so nice. And I was like- no I am cool, I am fine. Then she said- that was there busiest time on that day- and I was like- it doesn't seemed like- as there were no more than half a dozen customers in the bank. Then I told her- she was kidding- and she replied- no. I was like- if this is your busiest then I would do all my banking transactions here. I live in Anaheim, but I am from Cypress, so I usually go to the banks near Anaheim and Cypress, which mostly are busy. But since I work in Irvine, and learned that this branch is not too busy and that the manager and all the staffs are well-bred, I would probably do my transactions from now on. The branch looks brand new. The parking is plenty. Oh, also the branch is located near the gym, coffee house, bakery, and some other establishments. read more

Stood in line for over 10 minutes with 1 bank teller helping a customer depositing 30 checks before me while the manger and other staff are busy with their clients I finally asked if there are more tellers, of course she's out to lunch! I walked into Chase and they printed a NEW card for me right there on the spot. It took less than 5 minutes! And, it was FREE! I would have charged for the 2nd and 3rd replacement, BUT THEY DIDN'T! I'm so glad J. P Morgan Chase came along years ago, and took over Washington Mutual. Ever since then, my banking experience has changed drastically. Out of all Chase brances I've been to, this branch is probably the best one. All the employees are well-trained, friendly, professional, and polite. Everytime I come in, I'm always greeted, and they always make sure I get all the help I need. Once the manager actually came up to us and greet us personally. Lost your debit card? Just go straight to the bank, and they will print you a new one for free, in less than FIVE minutes! Can't find your checkbook? Just walk right in, and they can print you one on the spot! They have the worst customer service. They refused to get up and help customers that are not Asian. My friend who happens to be an African American tried to open up an account with chase but for some reason he was told they were too busy. I looked around and there were 3 people sitting in their cubicles with no customers. Yet he was told they were busy. They took his number and was told they will call him when they're available. I used to bank at this Chase as I lived very close to it. I have since moved to Westminster and have encountered nasty unprofessional people at a few locations out here. I was 99% sure I was going to switch banks today after horrible visit. Before officially deciding, I called Chase Woodbury today for help with a few things and I remembered why I preferred this branch so much and why I love banking with Chase. Extremely disappointed. It was heavily raining out and I needed to deposit a check. As soon as we enter an employee approached my boyfriend and I and asks "how can I help you?". I let her know I'm making a deposit. She proceeded to tell me I can use the ATM. My boyfriend says, "it's a larger deposit so we wanted to come inside". She then asks to see my check and says if it's under half a million than we can use the ATM. I let her know I'm putting half of it in a savings and half in a checking (not that it was any of her business). She was talking very loudly about my transaction and I felt extremely targeted and upset. What is the point of a bank if they try to push you away and make you feel like you did something wrong for coming inside? I've been a chase customer for over ten years and have never been treated with such disrespect. read more

Super friendly and competent staff from the branch manager all the way down. Chris saved me the money of wire transfers by having me make cashiers checks and depositing them in my vendor accounts. They have nice rewards cards too. They are always courteous and happy to serve me and my dog when I come in. I would highly recommend them for friends and family. read more

My wife and I were looking to open a new checking account and Chase was offering $150 cash for opening an account (with coupon). We were greeted by Andy Pham who was able to help us out. Not only did he explain all the options but spent some extra time with us helping us to personalize our account and showing us how to get the best cash/points rebates. We were surprised by how convenient Chase makes it for paying bills and transferring cash all with the use of the phone application. He also gave great advice on how to keep our high credit scores.
