I closed my account on Oct 17, 2024. I have the paperwork to prove it. However, it has not been…read moreclosed! They have been charging me EVERY month since then for a maintenance fee of 12. I found out when I was zelled through my email, and the money was sent to my acct. Part of the money cleared the negative in the acct. Not knowing what was going on, I went ahead and zelled the remaining negative that was still in the old acct. I then started researching and found the monthly maintenance fees. I called the 800# and the lady said that she had nothing on her end that showed we closed the acct. Well, I have paperwork. So now I'm at the branch in LB and the lady here acts as if they didn't do anything wrong. They told me that I had to wait 2 weeks to close again, and get my refund from them along the 2 weeks. Then tells me, I might be charged again for the month of March. And that would re-open the acct again. Then I would have to go back in to close. I told the guy. Thats fine. I'll just call my lawyer since he stated that this might happen. After that, I was refunded then and there. And acct closed! This Bank is ridiculous. Never willing hank with B of A again.

I went into the bank to wire money for a real estate transaction yesterday Friday 8/21/2020 and Mechanics bank decided to close the whole day because of the fires, fortunately CSS copy shipping solutions was open and was able to help me, whoever is running the show and makes the decisions to close Rabobank / Mechanics locations because of smoke in the air wouldn't last working for me, then again I'm not surprised since Californians do not use much common sense, lacking a true sense of community, have poor social skills and their relaxed work ethic is the reason why the state is a train wreck, thanks to our hardworking friends from Mexico, who are exploited on a daily basis this state would be a wasteland like many of the scenes from the movie Mad Max, if it wasn't for them you wouldn't be the 5th largest economy and your hearing this from a white guy.

Not allowed to use my money when and how I want or need to. We are booking a vacation home for next…read moreMay 2027 in Hawaii for my whole family and the rental is a little less than $20,000. Only options to pay are by debit/credit, Apple or PayPal all of which are connected to my bank account. I went to the local branch and filled out the paperwork to open my daily limit to allow the purchase. Then went back the next day to do the transaction while in the bank to make sure everything went smoothly since I have had multiple issues with large transactions not going through even when filling out the required paperwork. 2 different times I've tried to purchase plane tickets between $3000-$4000 and never been able to use my bank card. This time the VP said absolutely not. She would not allow my card to be opened for such a large transaction even with me doing the transaction while in the bank. Said that the only way such a large amount could be done is through a wire transfer or cashiers check which is not a payment option for Airbnb. I understand it's for protection but that is why I was doing this while in their presence. Airbnb does offer an option to pay half now and the remainder later and I was still told no. I am tired of not being able to access my money when I need it for what I want to use it for. I will be closing my account and I am encouraging my adult children as well as my siblings and parents to close their accounts.
