Apparently, they have replaced some (at least one) with new Tellers. The one I mentioned had made…read morea mistake several months ago on a deposit that I told her twice was to go into checking but she put it into savings. Before we left the parking lot I looked at the receipt and found that it was done incorrectly. After having to wait in line again, I showed her the mistake and she corrected it without apologizing. The next visit I made to the bank I witnessed a customer having her correct a mistake she made by not putting his deposit into his Money Market Account. She was probably in her early-to mid 30s or so and I witnessed her chatting it up (to male customers on a personal level) for a more-than required time for their transaction. (I know because I have been in banking in the past). She was too distracted to concentrate on her job. I am happy with the courteous, yet fast and efficient tellers now on the Teller line. Thank you, Golden 1 Management for making a decision in favor of good Customer Service. It's much better now!

Their website display and "general" function is one of the best in the industry. They enjoy a 4.0 5 Star customer rating compared to other local CU that are at 2.0 to 3.8. If this CU would hold their outside contractors to a higher standard of competence and service, they would be the Little leader in the industry.

I had a small account that went dormant. They sent a few letters about it. I didn't see any mention of a monthly fee. They claimed there was a fee of $10/month, but couldn't show me a sample of one of the letters. And it took about an hour to find out they were going to hammer me with fees because they had to work with the regional office to get them to make the account un-dormant. Didn't matter: of the $500 I deposited a few years back, they returned just over $400. Total bummer when the little guys are greedy as the big guys.
