I had to Call the Toll Free phone # on the back of my card this morning to dispute 2 charges on my Chase Credit Card. I got a person named "Areiyan" from INDIA ! I could NOT understand his thick accent and he refused to Dispute the 2 charges. He made me cancel my current Chase Credit Card as "Fraud" and send me a new credit card. This employment of STAFF outside of the US is destabilizing our US Labor Market ! The tariffs imposed on India is causing Chase customers to pay MORE in service charge fees. I'm consistently disappointed in the customer service. There are some good people working here, but overall, Chase Bank has gotten too large to really give that great customer service of the past. Good luck finding someone if you have an issue. They do not even list a phone number for their corporate office. I've been with them since the 1990's (Washington Mutual). The reason we keep local banking here is when traveling we can usually find a Chase ATM. No way would be put our investment accounts in a Chase Bank. read more

I happen to go into this branch today to get a couple of checks cashed. The "teller" who happen to wait on me was sitting in a chair? I had seen her walk away from her area while I was in line and she seem to be walking perfectly fine. Other than counting the cash back to me, she never asked me how I wanted my currency and if I would like an envelope? Apparently, this teller needs some training on customer service. I chose Chase because of the QuickAccept point-of-sale device they offer, which takes mobile credit card and debit card payments. Perfect for my business, except for WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU: IF YOUR BUSINESS IS A SOLE PROPRIETORSHIP, ALL TRANSACTIONS WILL APPEAR ON YOUR CUSTOMERS' CREDIT CARD LINE ITEMS AND RECEIPTS UNDER YOUR PERSONAL LEGAL NAME, NOT YOUR BUSINESS NAME, EVEN IF YOU'VE FILED A DBA AND HAVE AN EIN!! That's right, kids--your legal name, telephone number, and address will be provided to every Suzy, Tom and Bubba who buys a bracelet, velvet Elvis, or bar of handmade soap through your Chase QuickAccept device. Chase bank victimizes the victim of fraud. Let me tell you how last week I reported the fraudulent charge on my debit card. They canceled my pass debit card and send me a new one now since I received a new card every time I shop they deny it with a message saying this, please say yes if it is and then I say yes and then it says you should redo this sorry about the inconvenience. That means if you ever have an account with this bank and you report a fraud, you will be victimized for your next transactions up to God knows when acceptable absolutely unacceptable should not be on the account of the victim department has no level of customer service and I would never ever recommend anybody to join this bank. I spent 25 years in banking, much of the time working in customer service management, compliance, training, and process improvement. I left banking recently, so I'm not far removed from the industry. My philosophy, and that of many, is that banks offer very similar products so they differentiate themselves on service. Simply put, most of the employees in this Chase branch neither want or deserve your business. As Chase customers for over 12 years we entered this branch in an attempt to rectify a situation. I'll spare you the details. What I will tell you is that a problem we were told would be handled by the next business day remains unresolved one week later. And, our calls to the office and conversations with the manager (Michael) have resulted in nothing more than innane "we don't know how this happened", "it should be fixed today" (offered daily), and "corporate sets the policy". We're now in talks with "corporate" and executive management, with fingers crossed and prayers offered that someone can actually take action, in the form of customer service and problem resolution. read more

Since I had forgotten to withdraw cash to play at the casino, we came here to withdraw. Loved that there's convenient parking in the back. This location is well decorated and very clean. The staff are super polite and helpful. Not one negative thing to say about my experience. The guy behind the counter was professional and friendly. I wrote a review a month ago and im adding this to the review as though I went to this bank to cash my check zand was denied. Wait what? They never explained why I was denied just told me that they couldn't cash the check. Odly enough I went to another chase ranch that same day and sure enough they cashed my check. So why does one bank deny and one says sure no problem there is something foul about this branch I have notified corporate and even they were surprised by this because it's not like I have deposited it in my account and was waiting it to.pend. stay away from this branch. I waited one hour to be helped by a banker only to be told they would not endorse my two party insurance check because they sold my mortgage to another co. on September 1,2017 the check I was asking to be endorsed was dated prior to them selling the mortgage. Had to return to this branch today to begin to close out my accounts. Corporate should really be looking at this branch - it is run very poorly and some of the staff just don't seem to care or have any customer service experience. The discussion by customers in the lobby was awful about service here, one customer I overhead telling the cashier that they "weren't winning any customer service awards" This place is bad news. I was waiting to get into my safety deposit and was told I would have to wait for a banker to let me in - I stood in the lobby with at least 7 other customers waiting. Some other customer came in a walked up to a cashier (it happened to be the bank manager) and wanted to get in their safety deposit - he was let right in. I questioned the bank manager and he said sorry, didn't know you were waiting. Bad news branch!!! read more

I visited this branch today at 2PM to replace an expired debit card. Simple enough process, it should have taken 5 minutes and I'd be on my way. I waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before I got up and left. I was not asked if I needed assistance for the first 40 minutes, then I complained after an hour I had not been helped. The woman I spoke with did say that she would help me in just a few minutes, but that took another 10 minutes and I decided to leave. I actually counted 3 tellers doing almost nothing, besides the few people who did come in to do a transaction. 2 personal bankers who were helping other customers for over an hour. I mortgage banker who was the only person to ask if we needed assistance, but couldn't help me. Then there were at least 3 other Chase employees who seemed to be too busy chatting with each other, etc to actually help the other two people who were waiting for over an hour with me. I'm glad my regular branch in Phoenix is a whole lot better than this branch in south Palm Springs. Maybe the employees in this branch need to go over to AZ and see how it's really done! That was my second attempt in three days to get served at that branch and it we be my last! If that were my first time to a Chase branch, I'd seriously think twice about opening an account at a branch that disfunctional!! I wish I could give a half a star for a review. Mike, the manager called me to cancel our meeting because he was too busy with his other meetings. Even though I had set up our meeting three days prior, because he was available. He wanted to know if we could just take care of my "issue" over the phone. He promptly passed me off to someone else. I will continue to take my concerns regarding how I have been treated at Chase up their food chain. Even though they talk about the importance of customer service in all their voice recordings when you call and get put on hold...they really don't care. Their customer service is nonexistent. Don't believe these curious one-star reviews. I have been with Chase Bank since 1985, and this bank at the corner of Ramon Road and South Palm Canyon operates within the same parameters as all of the Chase Bank facilities, which is a bank in the upmost ranking of professional and courteous behavior. The building is a palace, and the people who work under its roof bring great credit to its polished atmosphere. We have to remember that anyone can walk through the doors of an establishment that is open to the public. I have to give these employees credit. I have seen some of the worst examples of customers, with most unusual requests directed at the bank staff, while I have waited in line. The staff have comported themselves quite commendably, considering the situations. Keep up the great work, Chase! read more

I've been coming here for 6 months to cash my checks because this is where my employer banks.. my ID with my married name was stolen & I never had issues cashing checks with my ID with my maiden name. Until today. Thank you Erica for the attitude! Tomorrow is the 4th of July & my bank is already closed. Gas light is on in my car. Should be a fun holiday weekend. My actual complaint I made with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, United States Department of the Treasury. I'll await my response from them hopefully within 48 hours. Enjoy my story. I deposited a check from the California Employment Development Department (EDD) on Friday April 17, 2020 using my iPhone and the Chase Mobile app. This like all other instances I have made a deposit exactly like this went through no issues, and on the same day I was able to use the money in my account. Then on April 22, 2020 I deposited another check, also from the EDD the same exact way as on the previous Friday and the money was not released I waited until the following day in order to try and use the funds but then realized that it was on hold so I waited yet another day expecting that 48 hours should be sufficient amount of time for Chase to release the money. Nothing so I started calling the bank on that Thursday and they said to give it another day but never said why it was on hold to begin with. I called the following day when i saw my account had not moved and with no luck. I was told that maybe over the weekend but by Monday or as late as May 1st the check would be released. I asked the teller on the phone if I deposited the check into an ATM if that would speed things up because I still had the check in my possession and usually if i were to deposit it into an ATM there would be at least a certain amount opened up for me to use. This would have come in handy because I was not at home in Palm Springs, rather I was in Los Angeles. She said that it may or may not help matters but she wasn't exactly sure. On Saturday I sill had not received any money in my account so I asked my friend to take me to the bank and that is when I deposited the actual check into the account. I then tried to pull out $200 , then $100, and finally just $20 not receiving any money on any of those attempts. Sunday.... you guessed it, nothing. Monday April 26, 2020 I started to call the bank again and was on hold for 3 hours or more before being disconnected. I tried calling back again and wait times were just as bad so I decided to go to the branch downtown. I don't drive so that meant getting my COVID 19 attire on, riding my bike almost 4 miles in the Palm Springs heat of 103 degrees to the bank to only be told there was nothing they could do for me. Of course our exchange was a bit more colorful than that but without the loss of my temper I left the bank obviously upset, and empty handed. Today my account is -$1687.04 and the check still hasn't cleared. I would think that during a financial crisis and an economic shutdown by the Federal Government would perhaps inspire financial institutions to amp up their efforts to helping their "valued customers"in getting all of their basic banking needs met. I can't even get them to clear a check electronically by a computer that is specifically programmed in doing exactly that and only that much less get a call back from a teller or supervisor and with no chance of them actually helping my situation. It is a good thing I am on unemployment because it looks as though I won't be in contact with anyone at Chase anytime soon and that is not due to a lack of trying because I have spent approximately 20 solid hours on the phone or in person trying my best to make this happen. It is beginning to looks like I may be on hold a long while still or at least until the next government bailout. Meanwhile I am going to sign out and find mine. Yelp isn't going to feed me tonight. If they allowed minus stars I would give them that!! Worst service I have ever received in a bank. Waited 40 minutes to get a few counter checks and then after waiting they told me that i had the wrong kind of account and I could not get counter checks. This is after two people from the bank told me that I could!!!! I then spent the next 15 minutes shutting down my account and taking all my money out of Chase. I will also being closing my credit card as well! When I asked them why is it taking so long to get to your customers the banker replied we simply don't have enough help - well good for them but that is not my problem. This branch appears to be horribly managed as another guy waiting as long as me also said he was closing his account as well. This is probably the poorest run branch in Chase's system. They allow the lines to get very long, particularly at lunchtime when it is the busiest. When one asks why there is only 1 teller for 14 people in line (I have a photo of this line) I was told the other teller had to go to lunch. The women that work in this branch are very snippy and were quite rude to my Mother when she went into this branch a month ago. I have complained loudly but Chase doesn't seem to want to get a manager who cares about the long wait times. It's really very sad because there are a great deal of retired people here and it is very hard on many of them to wait on that hard tiled floor for nearly 40 minutes with no chairs or anything to lien against. This branch needs a full overhaul of professions. Try to avoid it if you are able. read more

Chase Amazon Credit Card is what I have. Customer service horrendous because while this is is an Amazon affiliated card, it cannot be managed on a Kindle without incurring unintended interest charges. It's an ignored tech issue.
