I wanted to give this location a great review but unfortunately they didn't follow up and take care of an open issue that we brought to their attention. We came in to update signers on a business account and that part of the transaction was taken care. It took what felt like forever, but it was done and I do appreciate that. Unfortunately there's a discrepancy on the account and in looking for assistance getting it resolved, the same young man could not handle it himself. He had to call an Operations Department and in explaining the discrepancy to them it was clear he didn't understand it himself - so I re-explained. He said they'd resolve it and a month later, it's still outstanding. read more

I came to this location to open an account and I was greeted by Ericca Hester. She was so sweet, outgoing and answered every Question I had... I made the mistake by forgetting my current ID with my married name so I had to drive 20min back home to get by ID and I could have gone to a location closer to where I live but I Got such a good vibe from Ericca I choose to make the 20min drive back to her so she could help me.. I got such a good vibe from her and that's hard to find now a days.. I dreaded going to the bank today but she made my visit so much better.. I even had to wait over 40 min to see someone at one location I drove to this location and I was greeted right away by three different people and they were able to get me in right away to open a business account. Every time I come to this branch they are less than friendly and helpful....then I go to the one on chandler and 40th st which is the complete opposite experience. I will be going there from now on and not this one, even though I live right be here. I can't ever seem to get a straight answer from these guys and always leave frustrated, while the other location always helps and has answers right away. read more

We have banked at this branch for more than 20 years. It has had a few different bank names, but it's still the same branch. They have had ups and downs over the years, but their level of service, concern, competence, and respect has always been good. In fact they have been better recently than ever before, even despite the covid concerns. We have also banked recently at the Wells Fargo Bank down the street, but we had nothing but bad experiences there. We are going to stick with this Chase Bank branch because we like their customer service, efficiency, and quality far more than other nearby banks. read more

Parking is great, can't say the experience is coming in. All the Chase banks I've been to in California were always great with service. Issue number one: no one is there to greet you, offer you a bottle of water or snacks or ask you what you need assistance with. That was the kind of service I received at other Chase banks and even Wells Fargo. Issue number two: I see one guy at his desk not with a customer but never once came out to check on the people in the waiting area. Issue number three: they have a water dispenser but no cups so you have to take a cup from the coffee table near the entrance and take it over to the water dispenser to get some water. After waiting for 25 minutes I decided to ask the teller for assistance since there was no line. She said normally with my issue I should be talking to one of their financial advisors, but luckily she offered to help me or else this place gets one star. And since there was no line and two tellers were available, somebody should have come out to check on the people waiting. Thankfully, they were able to help me. We resolved it. When I had walked over to the clipboard to cross my name off since I've been helped someone from Chase had already crossed my name off apparently. But if my issue wasn't handled with the teller then I'd be pretty pissed. I would definitely check out another location if I need any further assistance. read more

This branch ATM just stole $500 from me. Their ATMs apparently mess up all the time and they do nothing to fix it. When I went in to tell them about it, they admitted that their ATMs are bad. DO NOT USE AN ATM at this branch. I asked them to pull the video footage and the records for their ATM and they "can't." They don't have access. So now I have to wait about 90 days plus to get my money returned. read more

I enjoy banking with Chase Bank as this is my home bank. One of the drive-thru ATM doesn't work as it can't read my debit card, so I had to use the other ATM to do my transaction. Overall service was good. There's a Safeway grocery store near-by, so it's in a great location. read more

I am cancelling all my Chase accounts because of the poor service I've received at this location on multiple occasions. It is conveniently located two minutes from my house, but unfortunately I'd rather drive down the Wells Fargo on 51st Street and Elliot Road. I'll share two experiences that stood out to me. The first is from this morning, it's nothing major, but just goes to show the kind of service one could receive here. I went in to get a car title notarized with my 2 year old daughter this morning. We walked in and sat down in the waiting area for about 5 minutes. No one came to ask if we needed assistance. When a banker came out, we were escorted to her desk without much of a greeting. Usually people say hi to my kid(s) when we go to places, but she was invisible this morning. I told her what I needed and she asked me to fill out the back of the title and stamped it. She then asked "Is there anything else?" in a very "cold" tone and I responded "No, that's all, thanks." and left. I've gotten a few things notarized in the past and recall there's a booklet that the clerk fills out with my info and asks me to sign -- she forgot or didn't want to do this because it seemed she was more intent in getting me out of the place. Like I said, minor thing here, but it highlights quality of the customer service here. The experience that really irked me happened about 2 years ago here and I haven't been back to this place since (until this morning). I came in the pull a good sum of money out to make a large purchase. I provided my driver's license and debit card and asked to pull out, I think it was $10,000. I filled out the withdrawal slip and signed it. The banker excused himself and came back a few minutes later with his manager. The manager asked me to sign again so I did (the same way I've signed anything else that required my signature). They left again and came back a few minutes later to tell me that my signatures did not match what they had on file. I asked them if there was anything else I can provide for further proof. They said no, there was nothing they could do. I was really unhappy at this point and asked for my cards back and left. I went down a few blocks to the next branch and asked for the same transaction, signed the same way I signed earlier, and got my money with a smile while having a meaningful conversation with the banker. If you need a good bank in this area, I highly highly recommend the Wells Fargo branch on 51st street and Elliot Rd. You get a warm welcome every time you go here and they have really helpful and friendly staff that go above and beyond to help. There's a greeter that offers assistance as you enter the door (at least during opening and busy hours that I've witnessed). While waiting, I've talked to people that come here from Tempe, Chandler, and even central Phoenix because of the friendly staff. They have fresh coffee, neatly stacked water bottles, and lollipops for the kids (or you) in the lobby as well. read more
