Worst service ever! Employees are extremely rude, and dont allow you the time to explain any issues or concerns you have as a customer. They speak over you and speak to you as if your incompetent. Oh they also love the blame game. They choose to blame everything else when unsure what the problem is. I don't normally go to the bank but I need to make an emergency deposit. Swipe my card and it didn't light green to open the door to use the atm machines inside. Tried tapping it, still didn't light green to open the door. Not sure if I have to wait till 9am or that card reader is broken. My review isn't about this Bank specifically it's about Chase bank. They have decided to screw people out of being able to use their Google mobile app. So therefore people like myself that don't drive can't get to a bank by 5:00 which is the time Chase now closes it used to be 6. And most of their ATMs are inside the lobby and they lock you out at 8:00. How is somebody supposed to deposit their check and do banking with Chase when they decided to screw around and take the mobile app away from people's like myself I'm not going to go buy a new $400 phone just to use the Chase mobile app it was a very stupid move on their part it also doesn't make sense to have all the ATMs locked up in a lobby so people can't even do their banking at night I don't get off till 6:00 I most likely won't be able to get to a bank at 8:00 now I'm going to a check cashing place then I have to make sure I get to a bank to deposit cash Chase really really should think things through read more

**This review is solely based off over-the-phone customer service. Though it is a phone call DIRECTLY to this bank on multiple occasions, This is NOT a reflection review of the bank in its physical form. I have not personally visit this bank.... Again, this is a review of multiple phone calls to this bank*** I called directly to this bank because it is the closest Chase to where I live. I wanted to get basic info because I was interested in switching banks. Thus I wanted info on opening a savings and checking account. Yes, that information is posted on their website, but my REAL question would have been if they were willing to wave the first 2-3 months of fees as I transition my money to Chase from another bank. I've read the transition to change banks should be this long in case of any recurring automatic withdraws or deposits made to your old bank account... My first call was made in the mid morning on Tuesday of July 10th. Cathy picked up the phone and proceeded to answer what she knew, but it sounded like she was a secretary and was going to have a Ryan give me a call later in the day. I guess he is a teller or a service rep. I've never got a call back and for the next few weeks, I have been busy on following up. I called back on July 31st, Tuesday and around midmorning again. Again Cathy answered (I'm sure she does not remember me, so I go through the whole Q and A's again). This time she recommends visiting the bank to open the accounts. I responded by saying, I really don't want to take a drive because if you cannot wave the fees, I'm not interested in opening the account. Cathy tells me that a rep named Ryan (assuming its the same guy) will give me a call back and we can put me down for a visit in the afternoon to guarantee me service when I do come to see them. I said: Sure, if Ryan can answer my questions prior to our appointment, I'll come in and open the account. No call back, not even a call back for my missed appointment.... Don't they want NEW customers? I guess not. I'm writing this review mid August....Plenty of time for them to go through their call back list, and call back! read more

The ATMs always seem to be down here, especially if you go after they close (five). This is completely unacceptable to lock us out of our accounts, especially when working individuals won't be able to use their services. read more

My business banks with Chase so I'm making deposits here almost every day. The staff is awesome. I usually deal with Mark, Hope, and Kathy. They're EXTREMLY friendly and just awesome people in general. The security guard (I haven't gotten his name yet) is ALWAYS happy to see me when I come in. Came into this bank about 12:45pm line was enormous with only two bankers being the last person in line with absolutely no one else behind me, Myself and two seem to be qualified bankers there no doubt in my mind that my simple needs would be met, 1. Replacement of my current debit card. 2 apply for an actual credit card, I made it clear to the lady that I wanted to take care of both aspects at the same time the banker lady agrees and said somehow she's not available to help me with the process, there's another banker on break that she can notify she said, should be within the half hour, meanwhile insisting on putting in a replacement debit card at this point this transaction is choppy and I'm at a point where I'm not happy, the lady is placed the order for the new card and asked me to have a seat while she call the banker on break shortly after she tells me that the person is booked with appointments and will not be available until 4:30pm closes to closing, if this person would of made it apparent that she was only qualified to meet half my needs I probably would've waited, when it comes to some people Money transparency is everything. read more

The first time I came to this bank I was on my lunch at the same time as some of the staff, so there were not many tellers available, and I had to revisit. My second time was 100% better. I waited less than 5 minutes before the manager greeted me and assisted me with my banking needs. She made me laugh quite a lot and was very thorough in her explanations of the services available. Chase flat out sucks. I have a small business and they have made it very clear they are anti small business. They have zero support and zero help for small businesses in the Sacramento area. I have tried and tried to work with them and even beg for help. I even requested a meeting with the manager that oversees this branch. She came and listened and even said all looks good. two weeks later same old shit. No luck, sorry, cant help you. I bank with several different companies and have been using banks for many years. Chase has been the worst ever and DOES NOT CARE ABOUT SMALL BUSINESSES. I am currently moving my accounts and have even convinced several of my friends to leave this pathetic bank. I am a relatively new customer to Chase, and have mixed feelings. They're employees are great. I am satisfied with my checking and savings account. I applied for a credit card a couple years back and was happy to receive one with a high limit. That was nice, however, they lowered it, after charging me a yearly fee. Bad business. Subsequently, they have not approved any other credit card applications, which is ridiculous considering I own my home, car and have plenty of money in the bank. Also, when attempting to do merchant services, they gave me issues and I went to National Bank for this service, and have been treated well. read more

I love my chase bank! Hong is my personal banker and she helps me with everything I need.

This bank is close to my house but I would not go here after dark. The tellers are friendly and the lines normally aren't that long. There are 2 ATM machines in the vestibule. But if you come when the bank is closed, you will need your ATM card to open the door to the vestibule area. But I guess since you are going to the ATM you would already have your card... read more

I'm not rich, my people never have been but we work hard and pay our bills even if it tales a while we do. If you can relate to that stay away from chase. I spent the last two years fighting cancer finally healthy enough to work I started a job at last! Got an account at chase and was on my way. Then adter I deposited my check and got gas my account was frozen! Calling them I learned fraud prevention locked my account and no one on the phone or in a branch could tell me why or what I could do to free up my funds. This was my first pay check in 26 months amd I am a singke father and this the Friday afternoon bedore memorial day weekend. Finally after 90 min or being lied to misinformed and played with the released 1/4 of the deposited cash amount. I have been fighting with them since to get the rest of my money. I had to move because of this unable to pay my rent and they have not said one workd as to why and demand to mail the check but I am moving I told them they insisted and will wait for it to be returned before holding it so I can go to a branch after mivibg and getting a new license to refkect my new address then I can go to a branch annd do a change of address on a closed account so they can the nail the remaining CASH deposite to me. It had been three weeks and counting and every time I call it is a new lie. It just shows how these people embody the "wall street banker" mold. So rich from stealing from the poor they cant even see how this kind of BS game hurts my family and has impact. I'm a veteran I gave when I was asked I hate that thanks to outfits like chase bank I cant expect them to do the same. Any money I ever owed them was paid as soon as I could, I shorted my food purchases to pay bills to crooks who could have easily paided me back every day since they did this to me. I miss the old days when banks actually cared about their customers and provided personalized service and "bankers" were actually very smart financial business people who developed business relationships with their customers. Not the case anymore, especially with Chase. I just talked to a "banker" at this branch who stared down at his desk during our entire conversation about why a long hold was placed on a check I deposited. He never once looked up or made eye contact with me. VERY STRANGE! How in the hell did he get hired for that position and what kind of training, if any, did he get in customer service? He was young but that's no excuse. I've worked with teenagers who were more professional than this guy. And of course he was absolutely no help, just recited all the blah, blah, blah that I already knew from past dealings with Chase's ridiculous check holding policy. It was a Charles Schwab check for God's sake deposited in an account we've held in excellent standing for almost 10 years! I guess #Chase is worried we've suddenly become criminals passing counterfeit checks. Thanks a lot Chase. This was just one in a series of crappy experiences with this financial institution. If possible avoid this bank by all means. I am not one to carry cash on me but for some reason I decided to walk in and see a teller, I asked to do a withdrawal and later that day I was surprised by the fact that they had provided with a FAKE $100 dollar bill. YES! I said FAKE! A counterfeit $100 dollar bill was given to me by a teller at this bank. They would not take responsibility for this and told me they could not do anything about it, so now I am down $100 dollars out of my hard earned money. This is ridiculous! How can a bank give out counterfeit bills?!? Makes no sense! And the fact that they simply say that they can't do anything about it makes me really upset. I am now missing money after working so hard for it, it's plain ridiculous! NEVER AGAIN will I trust this bank to provide me with cash. I was told by another banker there that this was not the first time it happens, so I recommend anyone banking at this bank to never get cash from them. read more
