One month turned into two. My calls and emails were not returned. The bank that held the mortgage before said he was going to foreclose if I didn't get refinanced. That bank was a small private bank in Saint Charles, Illinois and was a bad idea to do business with to begin with. Thanks to Citibank dragging their feet forever, the house went into foreclosure. I do not recommend that anyone attempt to get a loan from Citibank. Either they are inexperienced, or don't want to loan money. But they were unprofessional in a way that went beyond my prior experience. I have had a Citi credit card and been banking with them since 1978. Never a late payment. I don't get it. It's like the mortgage department is run by aliens.
