First of all, I like Chase Bank, never had any real issues with Chase Bank. Secondly, whenever I need additional baking services like personal banking, credit inquiry or anything like that things always typically go smoothly. Do not do business with CHASE, they are a scam. I Was in the process of buying an investment property and deposited 2 checks in from my Citibank personal and one from my Citibank business a week before closing. I was using my unused Chase account to keep everything organized until I opened my LLC account. When I deposited the money, the teller told me there would be a hold until the 21st, 2 days AFTER my closing. I told her to give me the checks back then and I would just do the wires directly from my other accounts directly to the title company and eat the $50 bucks for transfer fees. She told me not to worry the money would go through the 19th, I just needed to call the fraud department and let them know it was for purchasing . I called the fraud dept. They told me not to worry. The money was not there by Monday, if not go to my own bank and have a personal banker verify the funds with Chase. I then had to leave work and spent an hour at Chase with my personal banker and bank manager defending me who verified I had the funds and their escalation team only to be told the money could not be cleared still until the 21st. Chase bank cost me a $500,000 investment. Today is the 21st and the bank still has not deposited my funds. Do not bank here, and definitely don't try and pull out a Heloc from here either, they have the worst rates and terms. Bank at Citibank on Camino De Estrella where they have personal and outstanding service ALWAYS. The only reason I have a Chase bank was because there was no Citibank in florida and they bought my home loan out from home loan depot. When my house was as damaged from a hurricane the insurance checks needed to go through Chase to pay out the contractors. That was another time consuming nightmare, my co tractors walked off the job because Chase took so long to issue their checks after verify ing the work was done. They also still have my daughter's car showing up as unpaid on my credit report as well, even though I paid it off early so wouldn't have to deal with their incompetent money grabbing. What are you doing with my $ 78,000 Chase, 10 days after its deposit? Worst bank ever!!!!! *My house fell out of escrow and is now being purchased by someone else because if Chases mistake, holding my money BEYOND a reasonable holding period of 7 days. I will preface this by saying I understand banks have policies and the teller is generally working within the confines of those policies. Having said that I had a terrible experience with Tommy Stetter while depositing money from my account into my mom's account. The net of it is I had my passport with me (and my driver's license on my phone) and they needed a credit card as a 2nd form of ID. I have everything on my apple wallet so even though I have a Chase credit card I had to go home and get my physical card to show him. Again, I get that it's a policy and in place for my protection but it was pouring rain and he didn't seem to be willing to work with me to think of any way to use any of the forms of identification I had including my account access, chase cc in my apple wallet, passport, code identification via my phone, drivers license with my photo that matches my physical passport, etc. I went home and checked m the drive was more and more frustrated and came back and expressed my frustration and he looked at me blandly and said "so what do you want me to do? You have the card now so it's solved right?" That made me even more upset because he obviously didn't care and I pressed him on why he didn't even try to come up with a solution before sending me home. He said it was the policy and then called over to his associate "Lindsay, why do we make them show two forms of identification?" She wasn't much more helpful and basically said the passport was fine and I told her I had the passport the first time I came in and and then she said she was coming into the situation late and didn't really know what was going on. Again, I can appreciate the policy. I know a teller can't bend the rules and decide what constitutes a potential workaround. But what Tommy could have done is called his manager over or shown some compassion or at minimum not been a jerk when I returned the second time and acted like I was a Karen for complaining and saying to me "so you'd rather I just let people steal money out of your account because you don't feel like driving home for a second form of ID". I've never considered writing a review for a bank but this experience literally makes me not only make a me never want to go to this branch ever again but also makes me want to stop banking with Chase. read more

I wont get into too much detail about my experience with chase bank, but you can obviously tell by my rating that it was a super bad one. 1. If you have a foreign check to deposit, take it to a different bank, like Wells. They will put a hold on the check for 6 weeks before releasing it to you, and also take a huge cut of the exchange. 2. Be aware that if you have "pending" fraudulent charges, they cannot/will not do anything to release your money back to you until they clear. And, the do not put any time restriction on how long an item can be pending. This benefits no one but Chase. For me, that meant $2000 of my money was inaccessible for 7 days. 3. They automatically direct you to their out of country call centers if you call in on their toll free phone line. You have to ask to be transferred to someone who actually lives in the US and speaks English, and the connection is always horrible. If you don't have any problems with the above mentioned stuff, then by all means bank with Chase. On a positive note, most of the people that work at our local branches are leftovers from WAMU and are SUPER nice. ;) But I have still chosen to take my money elsewhere. read more

Been a customer of this Chase Bank for over 25 years with over 100K consistent balance over this time. Great customer service...very personal and professional. Francis is the greatest...been there over 20 years. Mat is wonderful also, he started as a teller and is now has his own office. Very professional and knowledgeable. The automatic teller can be finicky but this Chase Bank has the only drive-up machine for miles....it also prints out on your receipt a photo of your deposited checks. There are a total of three ATM machines at this branch so if one is not working you still have 2 more to choose from. I have been working with Chase to Refinance my home mortgage which they currently have. They were the ones who approached me about lowering my interest rate. I figured have the loan now this will be a slam dunk. HA they have taken 2 Months and still I have no final approval. I have had to prod and follow up with them every step of the way. I would suggest you use any other bank or institution other than Chase for you financial transactions. This is a teaching location now, so suspect a lot of waiting. I once saw a line of about nine people with only one teller. People here are always changing which sucks since way back when everyone knew my name and were super friendly. I walked in to the chase bank in the early 10am morning, only 1 customer was in front of the counter. So I walked to an open window, told the cashier I would like to close my account and withdraw all my money. And I would like to use the money to make payment of my chase credit card. She pointed to me that she can't help me, told me to talk to personal banker. Which there were 6 of them in their cubical 4 of them were free, 2 was with customers. I walked over and trying to sign my name somewhere for the waiting line... ( no one greeted me or say hi when I walked in, and they are not busy at all) but there is no board or device. So I sat down at the couch....... Believe it or not, I waited 10 mins, finally someone walked out the office and helped me close the account. Then I still had to walk back to the counter to withdraw my money make a payment to my card then leave. I had a horrible experience last year with this branch. The teller refused to cash a third party check for someone, because he didn't bank there and only had one id. This person asked me if I could cash it for him, so I asked the teller if this was safe and she said, "yes." Then I asked her if it was OK? and she said "yes" again. As I proceeded to get my debit card out and sign the check she mumbled something, that she said was, "it was ultimately my responsibility." I did not hear her, and I ended up being frauded out of thousand's of dollars!!! The bank won't stand behind me, so I'm out the money. If she wouldn't cash the check for him, why would she let an elderly person, who has banked at Chase for almost 40 years allow me to do it????? Don't bank there!!! They don't protect YOU!!!! Later I found out that other banks won't even talk to someone who comes in with a 3rd party check, especially if it is signed in a different handwriting!!!
