This branch is right down the street from my house, which is convenient to use. Unfortunately, they're not very helpful. Many times they don't have a branch manager available or enough staff for appointments. I recently came and they had no staff available to help so I had to drive to another location. Chase Bank - It's close 2p - Saturday - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Santa Clarita, California

Chase systems still down after Microsoft update failure. It's been over 24 hours and their computers at their business units are still down. This is pretty unacceptable seeing how my company has over 150 computers and we were able to get them back up in less than 12. There is an easy fix, it just takes time so for all of Chase business units in Santa Clarita and probably elsewhere to still be down over 24 hours after this occurred when there's literally six computers behind the counter is horrible. Horrible customer service. Shame on you, Chase. You need to fire your IT guy ASAP.and yes I know you can make deposits in the ATM but I'm not sticking my check that's over 10 K in your machine, sorry not sorry. read more

I don't know what may have happened in the past with these negative reviews. I only can speak from my own experiences. I have Been a chase member for more years then I care to remember. But at this particular branch, I've always been treated with respect and quick service. At times when it does get a little busy. They are very apologetic and seem to do whatever they need to do to get things moving along. Casein point I walked in to this particular branch on Rye Canyon & Newhall Ranch Road in the city of Valencia. I was immediately greeted by one of their personnel. She was charming. She was delightful and she was very respectful. She was sympathetic to my needs. After spending about three or four minutes with me, she invited me to come up to the window, where she opened up a registered to helped me. I was very much appreciative of that and the courtesy / professionalism that she conducted herself in. As I was walking away, I felt if anyone was being rude it was me. I stopped myself in my tracks and asked her her name. She said Bree....? I couldn't hear it quite clear because of the partition and I had moved quite a few feet away from the partition so I couldn't her name clearly. I think she said Brittany or Brianna or just plain Bree.. I said my name back to her John. She gave me a big smile and said I was very happy to help you. I walked away a very happy and satisfied customer with a little Skip in my step. So Bree if you get this message I really appreciate your professionalism. Customers beware! Someone in a southern state filled out a blank withdrawal slip in a Chase branch bank, and with a teller's assistance took all of our money out of our checking and savings accounts. Thousands of dollars! We are on day 7 of talking to customer service representatives and their fraud department but have had NO action to return our funds. The bank has a copy of both sides of the fake withdrawal slip and has sent that to us. But still NO ACTION! We have been honest Chase customers for years but have every intention of leaving Chase if this issue is not resolved. Our automatic payments are now bouncing, thanks to them! Beware! read more

I've banked with Chase for more than 15 years. I live in Ventura County, work in LA County and have been to nearly every branch from Santa Barbara to Burbank. This is by far the worst branch. This location happens to be located between my work and my drive home, so occassionally I don't have much of a choice in the branch I go to when I have to go into the bank. I dread every second im in this place. I have yet to meet a teller who isn't unnecessarily rude. The branch manager is never able to be reached to file complaints. I walked into this branch today and was met by a teller who literally rolled her eyes at another employee and said "why are these people even here ruining my Friday?" Seriously? This branch needs a complete overall of personnel and some very serious monitoring from upper leadership because this place is a nightmare. If it wasn't for my longevity with Chase as my banking institution, I would change banks in a heartbeat from just how terrible the employees are here and the way the branch is managed. I was there the other day to deposit cash. There was a woman there who's mother had died and she was trying to submit papers to access her account. The behavior of THE ENTIRE staff was unprofessional and heartless. One blonde woman was so wrapped up in declaring to everyone in the branch that it was her last day on the job, the dark haired woman who sat at the cubicle was taking personal calls and scrolling the internet, while they made the woman wait. This woman was polite (despite their rudeness) and simply needed guidance. The staff's behavior was inexcusable. I will not be using this branch EVER again. What the hell bank doesn't take cash as a deposit?!? So I'm really confused by this branch and clearly customer service is an issue. I was here today and a woman came in to make a deposit. She had cash and they refused her. She got upset which I would have too and she stormed out. Then she came back in a lil bit later and was still clearly upset and she was trying to do a check or money order or something else for a deposit and got denied again. She stormed out pissed off. I don't need to repeat any of her language we can all guess. So from the outside looking in I don't understand why someone can't make a cash deposit. I don't understand why after she does what you demand you still denied her deposit. I think it's crap that she was treated so poorly. If my account was low on funds and I was trying to deposit cash to resolve it I would go ape crazy if you denied my money. Not saying her behavior was right but I know would have behaved badly if I got shut down with no alternatives. Why wasn't the manager invoked? Why wasn't the bank flexible? Why didn't they take cash? Why did they allow a customer to get so upset? Defuse the situation before it gets that bad. I will be closing my account on Friday once my direct deposit clears. I have a business and personal account with WAMU for over 6 yrs. I recently moved in this area and have been looking for a branch to goto. Never have I been treated this rudely. The first time I went in I received a rude comment from one of the staff. 2nd time I went in - I was trying to avoid going to the same staff member but everyone else was busy so i sighed and went to deposit my checks. She starts off with an inappropriate and nonsensical joke and even when I at first laughed it off she continued on with it which was rude and inappropriate. I ended up not finishing my transactions and just deciding to go to another branch. As I was leaving I can hear the same staff member gossiping about me to the security guard standing right next to her. I will be speaking to the branch manager and reporting this individual to the corporate office. read more

I hate doing this, but I'm going to have to agree with the other reviews that the Chase on Newhall Ranch Rd. deserves a 1 star rating. The customer service here is very unprofessional and it is probably due to the leadership at this branch. The manager, a blond woman in her 50's/60's, should not be in the business of customer service. I waited for an hour for help (no joke) and rather than figuring out how she could help me find one of their products to meet my needs, she made sure I would never do business with Chase again. Went to this Chase bank to deposit a check that needed to be cashed ASAP and I was pleasantly surprised with the drive through. I was able to make my deposit and go back to work locally! I really like this bank because it's close to food places and juice drink places and it's in a clean area. read more

Well, it's well past "lunch time" and they only have one personal banker in who is able to help anyone with account issues. I can't help the fact that his client in front of me was a stupid person with many (what I consider to be obvious) questions, but this branch needs to be better staffed. The business account lady asked me if I needed help only to walk away when she realized I wasn't a business customer--so she couldn't help. I feel so ignored for close to 30 minutes due to staffing issues. read more

However, Bethany and Chris were super stars in their customer service. Bethany has great interpersonal communication-I forgot that I was there to handle a transaction! And Chris was very attentive. I've always had good experiences here except for today. At my work we have vending machines and when the money is taken out, it's given to me. Our business bank doesn't have a local branch so I take the money here to switch the ones for larger denominations. Like....a lot of ones. I've done this multiple times before and have never had an issue. Yeah it's a hassle and takes time to count it but it's what we have to do. The girl who was helping me was very sweet. Then a lady came over from an office and was giving me attitude for going to them instead of our business bank. Then a different teller gave me a stack of $100 label bands and said that next time, all the money has to be wrapped because counting takes to long and they are short staffed. Ummmm pretty sure you're a bank and that's your job. It just made me upset because everyone has been so nice before and this was just uncalled for attitude. I'll probably just go to a different (further) location next time. Inconvenient, but now I just feel uncomfortable here. read more

I went to this chase location out of convenience and needed to get a cashiers check from my business account. Normally, I don't get charged a $8 fee but this location decided to charge me even though I'm a chase member and have an active account with them for almost a decade. The lady employee could have given me the option to get a money order which is no charge, but didn't let me know until I questioned her later about it. I only use this business account to receive direct deposits from my clients and nothing more. I know that this bank has a reputation for taking money from their own customers and even go as far as charging a fee for just about anything. I don't recommend doing business with chase, unless you know how to use this company for your personal financial benefit and take your money out or transfer it to another bank or credit union as soon as it's deposited into your account. read more
