Today we received a call and we were told that the $40 will be deposited into our account and that the employee has been retrained on how to handle cash from customers. I commend US Bank for their prompt action to this matter. This has been the worst experience ever in a bank. Today, March 18, 2024 at around 11:30 am my husband asked me to count $800 in cash so that he could make a deposit. He counted again to make sure that my count was accurate. He said: YES, $800. And left our van to go inside the branch. He gave the cash not to a teller but to a woman sitting at her desk on the right side as you enter the branch. . He placed the money on her desk, she asked for his ID and bank card and then asked for him to go get a deposit slip from the counter. My husband left the money with her. He came back with the deposit slip and she had already counted the money. She told him he was short by $40. She counted AGAIN in front of him and yes, it was short. My husband also counted and it was short. He told her that we had counted the money twice before he walked inside the branch and her answer was: "we counted together". My husband told her that she had ALREADY counted when he left to get the deposit slip without him. That is why she told him he was short when he came back. Her answer was: "sorry, it is short." He came back to the car to get $40 because we needed to cover a payment. Completed the deposit and then left. Why would she send my husband to the counter and not ask him to take the money with him, but most importantly, why did she touch and "count" the money while he was gone? I sure hope that this incident is looked into as we are sure that there are cameras inside the bank because I find it extemely unlikely that we would have BOTH counted the money and both be off by $40. I also hope that someone contacts us because we have an account with the bank to clarify this situation. If that is the case I will be updating my review.

This location does not get a lot of love from those who have gone inside, but for what I need when I am in the area it is fine. Brick and mortar locations are getting to be rarer, so I was happy when I discovered this location close to my work area. Drove up, put my card in, grabbed some cash, and was good to go. As some others have said, due to its location it can be difficult at times to access in traffic and then get back out to go the other direction. For my needs, I'll take it.

It was a hot summer day, and after walking around the mall for hours, we needed a place with AC where we could relax for a bit. We first tried the Starbucks by the food court, but it was packed and a little too hectic for what we were looking for. We ended up stumbling upon the Capital One Cafe, which we didn't even realize was in the mall. We weren't sure if it was only for Capital One customers, but we were happy to find out that anyone can enjoy the space, no strings attached. It ended up being exactly what we were looking for. The front seating area was a little busy, but the back had comfortable seating and was quieter and more private. We were able to set up our laptop, relax, and enjoy the game without feeling rushed. It was the perfect break from shopping all day. The cafe also has private conference rooms that you can reserve. They were all taken while we were there, which shows how useful they are. The employees were very friendly and helpful, and the space was clean and comfortable. We didn't try any drinks or snacks this visit since we were mainly looking for a place to relax, but we'll definitely be back to check out the menu next time.

It's typically quite cold in the cafe, so I would recommend either bring a light jacket or you can just take your drink to go while you peruse the shops at the mall. Their coffee based drinks are good, as well as the matcha drinks. The matcha drinks tend to be on the sweeter side though. They also have seasonal drinks that rotate every quarter or so. Other than the free drink promotions, they also offer half off drinks if you're a Capital One cardholder.
