I honestly think this concept is absolutely genius! You typically go to a café to grab a coffee, but Capital One has transformed the entire experience where you go to their café grab a coffee and talk about your finances. The whole purpose of this café is actually a bank. I love how you can rent out different rooms in the café if you have a Capital One credit card for a few hours to get work done, to have some quiet time, etc. and it's free! They also periodically give out coupons for free coffee and if you have a Discover credit card or Capital One credit card and use it to purchase you get 50% off! I do have to admit the coffee is not the best (sometimes it's sour) but also I don't think people actually go here for a coffee outing I think they go here for their banking needs. Sometimes they also have events that coordinate with travel like free luggage tags, monogrammed passports, I would definitely keep an eye out!

I think if you're already in the Scottsdale mall and craving a coffee or matcha, this is a good spot, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again to be honest. I was looking to get some work done, and I do have a Capital One card, so I figured the half-off deal was good so I gave it a shot on a weekday morning, and unfortunately the vibes were a little off. I went for the seasonal cherry vanilla matcha latte with oat milk and it was pretty good, I definitely could have done with a lot more matcha as it was kind of milky. I also got the avocado toast with bacon and it was underwhelming, I think under-seasoned and I didn't love the bread they used. There is no bathroom inside the cafe, and it's a little walk to go use it, so if you're trying to get work done be prepared to pack all your things up and take them with you to go and come back. It's also a walk through the mall to get here from parking so that's something to note. This specific day, there was someone laying in a corner seat with their phone on full speaker and even with customers voicing their concerns, the staff did not seem to care much, which is okay, I think it was just very hard to focus on my own work personally because there was no where else to sit besides right next to them. I didn't love that the bank staff were also kind of soliciting cafe-goers about Capital One while they were seated already, but I suppose that's kind of the trade off for a cafe at a banking establishment. I don't think I'll be back, it wasn't personally for me, but I do know a lot of college folks who really enjoy studying here, so I think I might have had a weird experience.

    Coffee shop within bank

Practical concept for a coffee shop that is within a bank -- or perhaps the bank is within the coffee shop. Either way, craving espresso while spending some spare time at the mall, this place provided just about perfect spot to sip quite tasty Verve coffee. Friendly and professional barista, and if in a mood for respective bank's services, it is straightforward to combine these two needs. The ambiance is interesting; modern yet cosy design with couple of quiet rooms available for remote work, whereas the bank portion is kind of hidden yet easily reachable through customer service reps. Next time, I'll bring the operating bank's card with me to get 50% off.

I continue to be a Capital One stan so I loved to see that there was a cafe in the Scottsdale mall nexts to where I was staying. I stopped in a couple times on my trip for a pick me up cherry vanilla matcha latte and it was delicious! Not too sweet with a light cherry flavor. The staff here are so friendly too. I've never really made use of the in store banking services but I love that they have these especially since they don't have traditional banking locations. There's lot of seating in here to work, including a few private nooks which I recently learned you can book right in the app! Looking forward to my next visit.

I have been to this cafe before and used their private nooks in the past without reservations. To my surprise, now you are required to reserve each nook. One of the Capital One employees showed me how to utilize this feature on my phone. I enjoyed this feature and will be using it in the future. The parking is literally the worst part. At 10 am on a Tuesday, I was surprised to have such difficulty finding parking between the uncovered lot and the underground garage. It's a little tricky to navigate from the parking structure to the Capital One lounge, so if you do plan to head here, make sure you have ample patience and time to manage parking. I ordered the Seasonal Cherry Vanilla Matcha latte with Almond milk, and the cherry top had a nice flavor, but it did not carry through the latte. The Matcha was okay, nothing to get excited over. I was planning to get some studying done, but I couldn't focus too well as patrons were quite loud. I eventually settled on a table in the back of the cafe, and, disappointingly, it was wobbly, possibly broken. I had only been drawn to come back to the cafe because my initial experience was so pleasant. One of the Capital One employees gave me a free drink voucher. It is a hit-or-miss experience.

This was my first time here. The line was long, so I expected the coffee to be good. Spoiler alert... It wasn't! I ordered a chai latte with oat milk, two shots of espresso, and one pump of vanilla (because the barista said that their chai is spicy not sweet). The drink was watery and not very creamy. I ended up drinking half of it then tossing it. The good news is drinks are half off for eligible credit card holders, and they have small enclosed offices where you can work quietly. The inside of the café is modern.

On Mondays, up until 9/22/2025 - any handcrafted drink is free (with the pass) I stopped by yesterday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Most of the tables were taken by people working on their computers and a few were just waiting for their drinks. The inside felt very welcoming and was clean. There were several banking employees standing around willing to assist with banking questions. The cashier was very friendly. I ordered a small matcha with strawberry cold foam and it was delicious! The menu has quite the selection which also includes food.

As a non Capital One card owner, I've never felt the urge to try out their cafes, but on a random trip to Fashion Square with a gal pal who happens to be a card owner, we stopped by for the first time on a Saturday for an afternoon pick me up! All Capital One customers get 50% a handcrafted drink. We browsed the menu and opted to share one of their Seasonal Sips: the Cinnamon maple iced latte w/ cold foam, $6.75 for 16 oz. After the 50% off discount, it ended up being $4.18 after tax but before tip. WOW. That drink was packed with potent, delicious flavors. The coffee wasn't incredibly strong but wasn't weak either. Overall, everything blended together perfectly. The interior of the cafe was spacious and perfect for WFH or studying. You can even reserve a private nook for FREE as a card holder! Just scan the QR code and go from there. As a non card holder, I'm not sure if there's a way to access it through the app too... Overall, delicious coffee and a beautiful interior. Would come back with a card holder friend to continue taking advantage of their 50% off deal and get some productivity done. Personally, I don't like that it's in a mall and would prefer it to be stand-alone because I believe it would be easier to access and much more quiet and the coffee is quality enough to speak for itself.

Sometimes I cheat on Nordstrom coffee shop and chill here. I like capital cafe more and more. The baristas are always friendly and they have avacado toast now and a few other eatings. I generally get a pastry or muffin and coffee. Today I had ice tea. It's a really spacious cafe and modern decor. Plus you can go in the Apple Store a few steps down. If you have to wait in line at Apple for your appt - you can hang at this cafe. If you pay w your capital one credit card, coffees are HALF OFF. Such a great deal. You'll like this cafe, stop in next time you're here. Their bank is in here too so if you have money and account questions, you can talk to a bank rep

    Strawberry lemonade

The café was really cool, especially if you wanted to get work done they had these little pods that you can go into that are quiet and there are many tables and chairs around if you don't get a pod. The service was good, like a regular coffee shop and I really like that even if you don't have a capital one card you can get the three months of free drinks if you are a Discover cardholder. The only thing that was not good was the coffee. It tasted almost sour. The good news is I was able to throw it away and the girl recommended a strawberry lemonade instead which was fantastic. The nice part is if you have the free three months, you can get as many drinks as you want in one sitting. They do not have a bathroom within the café and you actually have to go to Shake shack around the corner for the nearest bathroom. It's within fashion Square mall but on a Sunday afternoon the parking is a nightmare. Overall, it was a really nice place to meet up with friends and chat and it looks like a good place to get worked done if needed

    Matcha latte

Drinks themselves are a hit or miss. One really good hit is a matcha latte with honey and lavender syrup. The matcha is no longer on the forefront as the honey and lavender take the stage flavor-profile wise. The matcha flavor is subtle but present. This drink is especially good for those who don't like matcha that much but want to try to get themselves to like it. Even people around here who don't like matcha like their matcha lattes this way. Definitely a sweet treat! Seasonal drinks are not that great, but they change often so if you feel adventurous, I would recommend taking a look! This is a really good work station at this beautiful recently redeveloped indoor mall. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. Clean location, and lots of seating. It is a good place to work and enjoy a latte.

This is a great place to beat the heat. What an awesome idea. I am a card holder and I love the fact that they give you 50% off for using your card. They also have these quiet pods that you can reserve if you need to study and have quiet time. It's also a bank! This is located near the Apple store in the mall. Our server was cool and the coffee was good.

Their cappuccino is exactly what you hope for but rarely get--perfectly balanced, smooth, and dialed in with real precision. The espresso has depth without bitterness, and the milk is textured flawlessly--velvety, not overly foamy, letting the coffee actually shine. You can tell the baristas know what they're doing. Beyond the cup, the vibe is clean, modern, and easy to settle into whether you're taking a meeting or just enjoying a quiet moment. It's the kind of place that treats coffee like a craft, not a commodity. Scottsdale has no shortage of options, but Press stands out for consistency and quality. I ordered a medium sized coldbrew with an extra shot of espresso and almond milk. The cashier was so kind and constantly smiling. She was very accomodating. What stood out most about her is that she actually offered to let me sample the coldbrew AND the drip coffee as I asked about both items. This really helped me make a decision instead of choosing one over the other without taste testing it first. The coldbrew was smooth and very strong. I really enjoyed it! I was wired for hours! Loved this little gem of a coffee shop!
