On Wednesday, I made an appt for yesterday at 11:00 am with Cynthia Williams. I subsequently rescheduled it to 1:30 pm. I was instructed to wait for their call in the multiple reminders sent to me. At 1:30 however no one called. This was a phone consult. They only provided the banker's contact. I called her after 3 min no one picked up so I left her a message at 1:33 pm. I did not hear back. i only heard back over an hour later. She explained she thought it was "in person" and she was the only agent in addition, she had "a lot of walk ins". etc. She also blamed me by saying "you stated it was to discuss a saving plan..". So? Was that why they dismissed my appt? if I indicated "new acct" and the amount such as several zeros would that motivate them to see me? Even if they thought it was "in person" and client no show. They were at their desk, why would people not answer the phone nor check message? None of their excuses make any sense. I took this appt seriously i changed appt when I did not think I could make it. I set asides my busy schedule to book a meeting to begin with. You know something, No manager called to apologize. No service evaluation sent to me. I have multiple products with them. We came in without an appointment at 430 PM on a Friday to add a beneficiary to an account. Thinking we would be dismissed, a Gabriel came up to us and said to please give them a few minutes. A few minutes after that, Betty Chacon graciously welcomed us into her office. This bank has amazing customer service. Debbie also helped my mom with some online banking questions. Absolutely the worst customer service possible. They go out of their way to make it difficult for a business to do, well, business. They got rid of business banking at my current branch and told me to contact business banking at the 13900 Seal Beach Blvd branch. Good ###ing luck. Days of calling and no one answers the phone. This bank is terrible! I made a pretty large deposit at this branch, came home and looked up my account on the Internet, and the deposit showed up. Then, several hours later, the deposit was gone. I called their customer service and they were not helpful. They said they would "investigate" my missing money, and get back to me. By a week later, I had heard nothing, so I called their customer service. Again, they were useless. The woman I spoke to evidently had no idea I had already called, and tried to instigate a new "investigation." She kept telling me to call back, so I asked to talk to her supervisor, and she was just as bad. Meantime, they have my money, and it's like pulling teeth getting it back. I called the bank again, and again, they have no idea what they are doing. In the meantime, I'm still without the money I gave them. read more

I recently was forced to close all of my long standing and numerous accounts with Wells Fargo bank due to fraudulent transacting by WF on several of my accounts. I opened my new accounts at the Chase Bank on Seal Beach Boulevard in Seal Beach, California. I was assisted by a banker named Omar Sakr. Omar was extremely helpful and proficient in assisting me with this difficult and very detailed transition to a new financial institution. I ended up feeling grateful that I had been forced to make this change after several decades with Wells Fargo. Omar was very attentive, conscientious, detail oriented and enthusiastic in providing me with a few hours of assistance. James provided additional assistance as well.I felt compelled to share this congenial and very competent banker for others to consider. You will not be disappointed! I just had to visit this bank to close my deceased fathers account. What was a very uncomfortable and anxiety driven experience couldn't have been nicer. I was assisted by David. Worst service ever! They are miserable and are not helpful at all!!! The bank tellers should learn some customer service.

The teller named Carina was extremely rude to me, so much so that I moved to a different teller to finish my transaction just to get away from her. The manager or lead teller (couldn't tell and she didn't have a name tag, nor did she smile or acknowledge me at all) stood behind the new teller ominously as I finished my transaction. I was getting a cashier's check and they wouldn't even waive the fee. I get a cashier's check once every several years and I've always had the teller offer to waive the fee. How discourteous and sour this bank staff is! Not at all surprised to see they already have several low star ratings. Do NOT bank at this branch. Sad, I've come to expect so much more from Chase bank. read more
