However, 20 years later, I noticed charges being deducted from my accounts and so I reminded them and had to give them the prize paperwork, but then a couple years later, the charges began again! Another demand for my prize paperwork was made, but I foolishly didn't get a copy of the paperwork that I had previously submitted and so now I'm charged a lot for every little thing! Plus, I was misinformed about my savings minimum balance amount by a teller which depleted that account!! California Bank & Mistrust is owned by Zions Bancorporation and neither of them care to maintain their integrity or honor the contract. I got 16 of my employees to signup on that Grand Opening Day, but now I experience regret. Sadly, I suppose it's time to build trust with some new bank after devoting 27 years here.

When I asked to speak with someone who could advise me on opening a business account, he informed me that it could only be done online. I mentioned that I still had a few basic questions, but he again stated it was all handled online. While I was in line to make my deposit, he handed me a business card. At that point, I started to feel a bit discouraged I had hoped someone there might be knowledgeable and willing to help. When I approached the representative to make my deposit, I decided to ask her my questions, and I'm so glad I did. Celeste was incredibly helpful better than I could've hoped for. She answered my questions without hesitation and didn't make me feel like a bother. What made the experience even better was that she spoke Spanish, which is my native language. It made me feel even more comfortable and understood. I truly appreciate Celeste's assistance. She's not only a kind young lady, but also efficient, helpful, approachable, and understanding. I have been a member for over 25 years and I have never had any of my deposits returned BUT Wescom…read morestill treats me like I've only been with them for like 6 months - I am a realtor and get large deposits and every time I deposit my check it get a hold on it for almost 2 weeks !!! I called and tried to get it released and they said someone would call me back and they never did - I had to call again and spoke to Elizabeth and she said I should have took it up with the Riverside branch - but I told her I'll calling you !! I also told her I have been a member since 1997 and can't believe they still but such a long hold on my check - I also explained my escrows take up to 45 days to close so I really need my money to be release BUT She not self employed so why should she care :/ If you are self employed or have large deposits think twice about using this bank - I have had home loans - auto loans - and credit card loans with Wescom and they still don't trust me!!
