Because of my schedule I am there later in the evening and the place is typically packed with kids playing in various sports programs. The weight room equipment is dated, but you can get a good workout in. The indoor cycling room is crammed and not a great environment. One neat thing is the separate cardio room. The room is kept cool with fans running and has 4 televisions to keep people entertained. Great place for families, which is what the YMCA is there for, but not a great place for me.

The curriculum is nationwide so it is wonderful for families who need to move and don't want to miss anything. I worked morning hours and I drive the "Percy" bus to pick up our school age kids and bring them over for aftercare. I have a teaching degree and so did my cooperating teachers. It is not required that you have a degree but it helps. We didn't have kids at the time but I would bring my 2 little ones to primrose of Riverwoods now if we needed childcare.
