The venue is gorgeous! We attended the SPECIAL NUTCRACKER TEA, which is more expensive, but sadly it was a huge disappointment. No food options, just a saucer size plate delivered with very small portions, served cold. It was a tiny piece of cold quiche, a large cold biscuit, soup in a cup about the size of a golf ball, a couple single bite cucumber sandwiches and a couple chicken salad single bite sandwiches. This is advertised as SPECIAL and has a premium rate, but compared to last year, the same event...truly a night and day difference! Last year they offered a choice of 2, salad, quiche, sandwich, soup. all full size and warm, followed by the expansive tiered tray which included the finger sandwiches and the desserts. Went for princess tea and had a wonderful time! I heard they do tea on Wednesdays and select Saturdays and this was a special theme, the princesses were beautiful and so in character! Snow White came to our table and stayed in character the whole time even though it was a table of mainly adults and a 7 month old. They did songs with the kids and some small performances, Snow White sang beautifully. Cinderella was also amazing. (Everyone was great but some special shoutouts) They had a cute Photo Booth for photos as well and the kids loved meeting the princesses and getting autographs. Tea was well spaced out I never felt over crowded and the staff was great. For $70 for tea, lite bites and desert, and a special theme I thought it was worth the money. First off I would say this venue is absolutely beautiful from the chandeliers to the exquisite paintings in the hallway it was magical. The outdoor garden makes you feel like you are escaping into a European garden. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because I felt like the sandwiches could of been better they didn't have much flavor and the group I was with all agreed it could of been better and for the price you expect everything to be done right.The pastries were yummy I would say the scone and lemon tart was my favorite. They had some good tea option and I went with a lavender black tea which I would recommend. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful I forgot his name but he was from France and he was a delight. Chateau Des Fleurs is a stunning venue adorned with crystal chandeliers and gorgeous flower bouquets! Guests choose from a nice selection of teas including decaffeinated. The first course was a cracked pepper and cheese quiche served with a small seasonal salad. The sandwiches were cucumber butter, chicken salad and salmon lox. The pastries included a persian rose water cream puff (my favorite), seasonal parfait, lemon tartlet, fairy cake, seasonal cookie and two cherries (seasonal fruit). Wine and or non alcoholic sparking lemonade can be enjoyed for an additional charge. The cost of $59 per adult and $49 for children under 10 did seem a little pricey for the food served, but I imagine that is offset by the cost of the tea strainer you are encouraged to take with you. You also receive a sample of Camille Beckman Hand Cream. It was lovely to see the tea enjoyed by both adults and children. Several tables were celebrating special occasions. I went to a high tea with my mom and sisters right after Christmas. We'd never been to a high tea before, but the server was really kind and helpful and explained the whole process to us. We each ordered a pot of tea. There was a good selection with a variety of types of tea- green, black, herbal- so there's something for everyone. They served us a tray of hot food first-- quiche and a Brie tartlet. After that, we got a tower of treats. It had everything from finger sandwiches to cookies to mousse. Everything was delicious, and they packed up the leftovers for us when we were done. The grounds and the building were beautiful. Perfect for photos, and I imagine it would be a great venue for a wedding or larger party. But we definitely had fun at our girls' afternoon out too! read more

This review is for their afternoon tea which is offered on Wednesdays for $50 a person as of summer 2022. For $50 a person I would say my expectations were very high. The ambience is their strong point. Beautiful grounds and elegant decorations- definitely a fun place to come to have a fancy feeling time. The food was good- but not exceptional. The tea arrived first, One flavor per person which makes about 2 cups and you can get extra hot water but another flavor of tea will cost you an extra $10. The frittata and salad arrived after the tea. The cheese frittata was a generous portion drizzled with a horseradish cream sauce and the salad was small but had a sweet freshly made dressing. These two items were both great. The tea tower had sweet and savory items and I felt they were just "okay". Nothing exceptional taste wise on the tower, but a nice presentation and overall a fun outing. read more

What a wonderful dinner with wonderful music as well as amazing food grown in their gardens. I had the chicken marsala with the vegetable soup and it was amazing! My husband had the salmon and it was equally delicious. For dessert we shared creme brule with just the right amount of crunch! The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous and they are practicing very safe social distancing with masks and all the service were wearing them appropriately. I have been for their afternoon tea once and loved it, recommended it to many people. At that time my husband and I both said it was worth the $59/person for the grounds, ambience, decor and traditional tea service. I took my daughter back today for the special holiday tea {$69/person} and it was not worth it at all! It was very disappointing. The decor is beautiful and they had lots of photo backdrops- I appreciated that. The food was not good. The soup was a broccoli carrot soup in a thin broth with chunks of feta? It was edible. The seasonal parfait was straight up canned fruit cocktail, reminded me of elementary school with the mushy pears. The seasonal cookie was a tree shaped sugar cookie with crushed candy canes sprinkled on top, like a grocery store cookie. All of the desserts tasted the same, plain vanilla everything. For the extra price and marketed 'special tea' I was not impressed, there was nothing to warrant that upgrade. I want to love this place and may go back one more time, but if today was my first visit, I'd never go back. read more

The singer was elegant not loud and very entertaining. Best lamb in the valley. It came to the table sizzling hot the sauce was a flavor bomb the portion was generous . We got married here. Natalie and Susan treated us like family from day one. What an incredible experience and breathtaking atmosphere our wedding was. We've been to dinner at the restaurant many times, Valentines dinner which included a huge band, beautiful experience and music. I had avoided trying Chateau des Fleurs' Afternoon Tea for several years, put off by the price, but decided to give it a whirl for a grand daughter's birthday - we were not disappointed. The grounds and facility are quite lovely, the service attentive (Thank you, Roy!), and the food was quite good. The three-tier offerings were pretty much the standard fare, though I would have appreciated clotted cream with the requisite tea-party scone. Also missing from the menu was any version of a plain black tea, sans bergamot or other additions. (I've since been graciously assured by the manager that a call to his staff prior, is all it takes to rectify that omission.) The first course FAR surpassed expectation - the quiche was one of the best I've had in years, and the accompanying salad was of remarkably fresh and tender greens. In final analysis, the verdant grounds, lavish ambience, attentive service, and superior first course were fair exchange for the price. We are delighted to have such a lovely venue so close to home! read more

My wife and I attended the afternoon Christmas Tea this past December. We have attended different teas at the Chateau in the past and thoroughly enjoyed them. The experience this time was highly disappointing. While the ambiance and service were and always are very good, the food experience was extremely disappointing compared to past visits. The soup was lukewarm warm, borderline cold, the tea sandwiches were dried out/stale as they appeared to have been made in advance but not kept fresh at all. The deserts were equally stale/okd. We were both taken back by this as our past experiences have been nothing short of stellar. I am at a loss as to what happened in this case. I know we will attempt another visit in 2024 and do hope that we will find it up to previous standards, if not then sadly we will have to walk away from what has been a true joyful outing in the past. read more

We just left the tea time on Wednesday and let me start off my saying as a single mother I constantly get judged even at Sephora, looked down on. I was a little nervous that it might happen here because it's such an upscaled place but was pleasantly surprised by the AMAZING AMAZING SERVICE!! Our waitress was so kind and lovely while our tea was being served but also the gentle man that was in the front came and was telling us about the chateau. That they use fresh produce and they we are free to explore. I really felt seen as a person and the kindness I was shown, I will definitely be telling anyone with a set of ears how amazing our time was. The tea time, for the money is complete waste. Tea sandwiches are old and cold like the were prepared day before. Cucumber sandwich was so gross - tasted like it was spreaded with a butter. Same thing with little deserts, they taste like were frozen before. Mini eclares looke like the one you can get in COSTCO. Nothing special. Perhaps, it is because we had the last seating. However, in general, I thought the food was bland. It did not meet my expectations for the price. They were great at accommodating my gluten allergy. I had the salmon with lentils. The lentils were very cold. Must have been left out from previous seatings and not re-heated. We were looking forward to revisiting Chateu des Fleurs after eating a 5-star meal in the Coq (that's not the full name, but it's their dinner restaurant which I do recommend) only to be extremely disappointed with their high tea experience. Both my boyfriend and I (who is British) have had high tea many times in the U.K. and this was less than acceptable. We've honestly had better on High Street and in M&S cafes. The scones were rock hard, they almost exploded upon cutting. The bread was dry and everything else seemed tasteless. This is unfortunate because I don't think we'd go back after that. I really hope they improve the high tea experience to the standards that they charge. I give them 3 stars mainly because the decor is nice. Great backdrop for photos. read more

Chateau De Fleurs is such a diamond for the Treasure Valley. My first experience there was breathtaking from the cleanliness of the grounds, the views, the visual stimulation of the decor - it was glorious. My favorite part of the experience was enjoying food in Le Coq d'Or. Chef Richard Jimenez really outdoes himself with the menu. I was blown away by the quality of the food. I'm someone who's apprehensive about gushing over food, but our meal was worth the praise. The scallops were incredibly well done and the cauliflower appetizer was another fave of mine. I also enjoyed the duck. Duck is difficult to get right but it was melt in your mouth. Not only does it taste delightful it looks and FEELS good. It is rare to find a restaurant that engages you. Very close to being 5 stars. Beautiful building and grounds, and I love that the experience is carried throughout the facility. (Unlike hotel ballrooms where you step out of your event into a fluorescent-lit hallway or lobby that smells like a swimming pool.) The building was icebox cold to the point of discomfort. Even the men were commenting on how cold it was. When I asked if they could do something about that, I was told the room would warm up once everyone arrived. (It didn't.) We had a catered buffet-style lunch. The vegetarian lasagna was extremely salty, but the salad was good (nice mix of greens with ripe tomatoes) and the homemade bread they brought from the kitchen was delicious. (The rolls offered with lunch had bacon in them, so I had to special request non-meat bread.) Everything on the buffet line was labeled, which is a rarity with many Idaho caterers and much appreciated by this vegetarian. The attention to detail in terms of decor seems to have started strong, but may be slipping. I was surprised to see toilet cleaning supplies stored in plain sight in the otherwise opulent bathroom, and computer-printed signs scotch-taped to interior doors, walls and the front door. Nothing snaps you out of a luxurious experience and back to reality like scotch tape on a wall! In summary: I would absolutely recommend this facility for a special event. I would encourage any prospective client to ask for a menu tasting and a walk-through of the building to ensure everything meets the standards one would expect in a building of such grandeur. read more

Dot your i's and cross your t's and make sure you get everything in writing! It could be a four star if they had the right staff and systems in place to run multiple events at a time. If I could give this place a thousand stars I would. Everything was above and beyond...from the stunning property and beautiful building and decor to the food, service and experience. We loved the live music, it was just perfect. Not too loud, just the right vibe. The chef even came to our table afterwards to meet us and ensure we enjoyed our meal. Of course we had nothing but amazing things to say to him. There was even a wine expert there to help us pick out the perfect wine. My Recommendations: I had the steak which was very very good, but my mom had the salmon and it was out of this world delicious. I was jealous of her meal because of how much more flavorful it was. The steak was very flavorful too, but there is only so much you can do with a steak. I would recommend dining here when you have an entire evening so you can really go and get the full experience. We spent a good 2.5 hours and loved every minute. I can't wait to go back! Prices are higher than average, but the experience was beyond amazing from service to food, worth every bit...plus I have spent more at Barbacoa and Ruth Chris, which didn't even compare to Chateau des Fleurs. read more

Some of them have never been to a tea and now it has opened their eyes to new experiences in life. We had a wonderful time and the food and tea was on point. We went for a tea party hosted in one of the ballrooms. Property was beautiful, staff was excellent, as was the tea. It was the food we were very disappointed with. Scones and bread on sandwiches were bone dry, muffins tasted stale, and the quiche was ice cold. If you haven't visited Chateau des Fleurs yet, you are missing out! This is a beautiful restaurant located behind Camille Beckman west of Eagle on Highway 44. The setting is exquisite, the food fresh and expertly prepared, and the service impeccable. We had the good fortune to have a personal tour of the facility, including the banquet room (perfect for a wedding or elegant event), two private dining rooms seating up to 24 guests for a more intimate occasion, the huge back patio (currently under construction) and garden space where fresh produce is grown on site for the restaurant, and the beautifully decorated restaurant. Dinner included a garden salad with a citrus ginger dressing, truffle ravioli (made with truffles grown on the property), duck confit for my husband, rack of lamb for me, and deserts of a caramel glazed cheesecake and chocolate mousse. The main courses were served with beautifully prepared sauces and fresh produce including Brussel sprouts, carrots, and roasted potatoes. The entire facility is housed in a French styled building with beautiful furnishings and obviously a labor of love for the owners and staff. I love Chateau Des Fleurs! The venue is so gorgeous as soon as I saw it I couldn't picture getting married anywhere else. Though we had to re-schedule with them twice they were very accommodating. They went the extra mile to set up floral pieces in the venue to color coordinate with the bridesmaid's dresses and the wedding bouquet and were attentive to all of our wishes and so sweet throughout all of it. I just want to hug them! The space is so gorgeous it made a fantastic backdrop for some amazing wedding photos.
