Xl chicken here in chatime symon valley is very small you can taste an old oil then they have a black thing in the old oil. Ill but xl chicken in the other chatime and it's not like this. Felt like wings and bubble tea, so gave this place a try. BIG mistake! For $6.90/10 wings, I wasn't expecting much at all, I knew it properly gonna be small pub type wings, so I placed 3 orders. When they came, I was actually beyond disappointed ( and I am ethic Cantonese, it take a lot to horrify me). You can see in my photos, they appeared to be "half eaten" and burnt, I placed an loonie there for comparison, you can see that the "wings" are about sizes of the loonie!! And they have feathers all over them! Some pieces literally looks like an armpit, I am so grossed out. The one star is for the bubble tea, which was decent and the pearl was cooked right, and I love the ice/sweetness option. But I have zero trust in a business that have the nerve to serve such "wings" as food for their customers. That is just plain disrespectful. read more

Lovely bubble tea spot in NW Calgary. I liked the options of customization, and the number of drink choices available to the customer. However, there's not much food choice, you can select from either a giant piece of chicken, or popcorn chicken. I went into Chatime for a regular sized Roasted Milk Tea with no ice, no toppings, and standard sugar level (boring order, I know). The cashier greeted me with a smile and took my order correctly. My drink was made to perfection. read more

This chatime just doesn't seem to be as good as the one downtown. Perhaps because it's still new and needs to work itself out. The roasted milk tea was a tad too milky. It would use more tea flavor. The spicy popcorn chicken could use more seasoning and flavor. The spicy season was only on one side and didn't taste very spicy at all. It could also be a tad saltier. I expected more tables on the inside for seating. I will give it a try later to see if they've worked out the kinks. read more

Bubble tea here is amazing, and food is even better. The chicken tastes incredible and is sold at a fair price, as you get a lot (I'm usually always full after eating just an order). The only downside is they are incredibly slow, especially during rushes. It seems like there is only one person making the drinks at a time and occasionally some other workers will help. I waited in line for 10 minutes before I ordered and waited another 10 for a single bubble tea. Worth the wait though! read more

I love the chocolate mousse,oolong tea mousse and recently favorite is strawberry with premium salty mousse. The decoration is nice, warm and friendly but I wish the cashiers are as nice as the decoration. The cashiers always have altitude problems but that's not bother me at all but some of my friends or even though my sister she was a big fan of bubble tea here and get them almost like everyday until now she never going there again cause she hates it so muchh. read more

It takes ridiculously long to get a drink. It takes about 15-20 minutes standing in line, then 30 minutes to get your drink; this was on a regular day with no specials. My drink was in the wrong size and they had to remake it. I think they are still working out the kinks... read more

This is not speaking to the bubble tea but the service I got today. I attempted to contact chatime creekside this evening because I noticed the half sweet, no ice milktea was sweeter than expected. As such I messaged them about this issue. As a result, I just learned today when I go to Chatime and order a milktea 50 percent sweet with no ice, they actually give you 80 percent sweet. If you question this particular location about it they will tell you next time you should order 30 percent sweet if you wanted the right sweetness level. As if this is some sort of general knowledge. Also I have ordered the same order at other Chatime establishments, and they have never turned out like this. What irks me the most is the fact I really don't feel like my issue was addressed adequately. They confirmed they added more sugar in my drink than I asked for and practically said "sorry we actually gave you MORE sugar than you asked for, better luck next time and order it right next time. Ps, thanks for wasting your 5 dollars with us. Come again though." Thanks for that experience. I don't really wanna come back to your establishment to order incorrectly again. What is this bubble tea roulette? "It's actually a GAMBLE for you to come into our store and order the sweetness you want we might just put in extra sugar for you. Get you some diabeetus faster by giving you more sugar than you asked for but that's you not ordering incorrectly, not us" Since I did not feel you gave me an adequate solution I will leave this review here. I also want to address the fact that every time I went to your store, one of your staff members are wearing perfume. I just feel that is unprofessional because some clients may be allergic and the scent lingers. Most professional work places do not allow the use of perfume and I would especially hope not when you deal with food and drinks. Is that even necessary? Love the chatime milk tea . But the one in symon valley keeps making this wrong . I rather go back down town or head to the Brentwood station to have the drinks and food . Great to have this location in the NW, the customer service was great, and the drink was also great, but the service itself was way too slow. I only ordered 1 roasted milk tea and it took at least 20-25 minutes from the time I got into the store to when I finally got my order. There were only 2 people in front of me and they did not have large orders. I hope that they either get more people to help with making drinks because as someone who just wanted a drink to go, this was the complete opposite of quick. read more

The lines here are long and I always dread ordering especially when I'm in a rush but there are no other good bubble drink shops around the NW. I ordered my roasted milk tea with grass jelly and salty mousse (less ice, 30% sugar), I told the cashier that I wanted another order exactly the same, but with pearls instead of grass jelly. I waited another 10 mins, my drink came out and both drinks had pearls in them, so they fixed my one drink and added grass jelly. But my other drink didn't have any salty foam. So not only did they mess up both the drinks I ordered but the guy who worked there said I couldn't take the drink unless I paid for the salty foam that the cashier didn't originally add to my order which was $1.50! WTF....not only did they mess up both my drinks and made me stand there for 15 mins (not including the wait to even get to the front of the line) but he wanted to charge me for their fck up. What kind of customer service is that? Plus he was argumentative about the wait time that I actually waited. So we looked at the receipt. He said I only waited 5 mins. The receipt said 11 mins. But that didn't include the 10 mins I was already in line or for them to fix my drink! When you run a business, the customer is always right and you don't argue with a customer over $1.50 especially when your staff fcked up! Never going back here again. read more
