Funny enough the intention was not to go to this restaurant. I was attempting to enter a different restaurant but it was closed for the day so I gave bubble waffles a shot. I ordered the duck laksa and it was amazing. For $16 you get a lot of duck, most restaurants will only give you half the amount of duck. It also includes a drink. Overall the food was yummy and it's definitely a place I would try again soon. The only downside of this restaurant is the plastic. I wish they would serve their food with normal dishes because when you eat at a restaurant it's not always fun to eat your food and plastic bowls and a flimsy plastic spoon. Overall I was very impressed with this restaurant I will definitely come back soon.

I then bookmarked this place. Not until recently (after over 2 years), I finally got a chance to try their shaved ice. Vancouver had shaved ice long before Calgary. It was a hit over there. Also there are way more shaved ice places in metro Vancouver. I came here with my sister just shortly after our dinner (we ate at a place just few blocks down) for some shaved ice desserts. I was very full from dinner but decided to share something with her. We ended up settling for the creamy mango shaved ice (also known as bingsoo in Korean). I had better shaved ice in Vancouver. The good thing is that Jus Fruit shaved is not really shaved from a block of ice. It was really shaved frozen condense milk ice. So it is not exactly ice. There wasn't a lot of mango in their shaved ice cream. The mango are only placed on top of the dessert along with a few tiny pieces of cheese cakes (size of pinky but shorter). As well the portion is somewhat small for what they are charging compared to Vancouver. Their shaved ice was very flavorful and it wasn't bad. Just wished there were more mango slices. Again, not a lot of places offers shaved ice in Calgary. I guess if I wanted shave ice, I would have to come to Jus Fruit.

The BF got the Lemon Grass Chicken which had a lovely, well, lemon grass flavour. Add the spicy sauce and mayo and you have a most scrumptious creation. My taste buds were thanking me. Service was good, tons of staff and our orders came out quick. My brother ordered a mango green tea with bubbles and I ordered a matcha macchiato with bubbles, both had regular sweetness. And I seriously love it! I was already full from dinner, but I finished up that milktea as quickly as I could. The location itself doesn't have a ton of accessible parking, as there are only some at the rear, but it's totally worth it. The cafe is very clean and cute, which is such a great spot for families and couples. We will definitely be coming back as this just gave me real bad cravings for milktea. Made me remember how much I was addicted to it when I had it in the Philippines!

One of the favorites is the grape mojito it's so light so refreshing and has the perfect light hint of green tea flavour with real smashed grapes and mint. This would taste really good with alcohol same with the pink drink that's just how good these drinks are. Most boba shops either have super fragrant floral teas or strong and bitter or too light where it just taste like cereal milk but not the moon. For coffee lovers my favourite coffee is their flame cloud latte. Better than my Starbucks go to drink. You have to make sure you stir it and mix up the brown sugar though. Personally I love asking for extra cloud foam. It's also a nice little spot for your friends to hang out since they have seating up to 20 here.
