    Grass Jelly Roasted Milk Tea

Classic bubble tea spot for your regular go-to's! Our faves are Roasted Milk Tea and Honeydew Milk Tea. We typically get our milk teas with less ice and 50% sugar. In terms of this specific location, love the recent renovation they went under. They now have a cute neon sign at the front of the store that is perfect for those bubble tea shots! Staff is very quick and efficient but can be a bit curt as this location is usually very busy. Pre-COVID, we would avoid this location on Friday and Saturday nights, as the lineup would be out the door.

Great location with lovely staff! Service is always very quick and staff are always very nice. Even with the Wonderland after-hours rush, staff were able to pump out orders very efficiently. We tried using SPC here by just showing the barcode, but there are specific rules that all Chatime locations are subject to when it comes to accepting SPC, and this was not allowed. The cashier was very understanding though and let us use SPC anyways! Make sure to bring your physical card or use the SPC app, as these are the only forms they can accepte

2019-02-18. Chatime is a franchise with several locations in Toronto and the GTA. I've been to both locations on Hwy 7 (Richmond Hill & the other Vaughan location in Famous Plaza, where the UFO looking movie theater is), so they're not new to me. We stopped in the plaza for coffee at Starbucks. The kids spotted this Chatime location across the plaza, so psychologically they suddenly had a craving for bubble tea (the power of conscious advertising). Normally we visit the Famous Plaza location at Weston Rd and Hwy 7, but what can I say, "No you can't have a bubble tea while I get myself a coffee"? So after I get my cup of Joe, across the plaza we went. The plaza I speak of is around the perimeter of Vaughan Mills shopping center. Being in s plaza there plenty of free parking. The place is small and modern inside. Wooden tables and plastic chairs. The walls are painted and there are flat panel TV's throughout. The place is long and narrow, a counter with a small refrigerated section houses macarons and slices of cake. The kids ordered their usual, a lychee tea with lychee jelly. While Chatime is not my Bubble Tea place of choice, it'll do in a pinch. As crazy as it sounds, my kids too can taste the difference with their drinks; but they also know when not to complain, something is better than nothing... Funny thing though, either the drink was not made consistently from location to location, or I just remember it as tasting better. This time around the drink was less flavourful, and I can't recommend a passing grade for this particular drink. 2,4 stars. I need to apologize for the lack of photos I'll be posting. The Staff here stopped me from taking pictures (not sure why, the other locations were ok with it), so I'll honor her request and not post any of the interior. If You would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!

Yum. I tried the winter melon and i wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. It wasn't overly sweet and the winter melon flavor was very present. Their milk tea never disappoints either.

This place is ALWAYS packed when I drive by. I've actually gone in once on the weekend and had to walk out, because the lineup was ridiculously long. I came back with my mom on a weekday when it was quieter. I got the matcha red bean slush with tapioca/pearls. I love the matcha green tea flavour in just about anything, so when I saw that it was one of their top 10 drinks...bingo! The service was good and I received the drink quickly. I really liked the drink and will be coming back soon given this hot weather! By the way, you have the option of choosing your sweetness level which I've never seen before in other bubble tea shops. You could make it 0%, 30%, 50%, 80% or regular. Really cool for those who don't like drinks that are too sweet.

Chatime with no line up. Conveniently located right across from Vaughan Mills. Drink is consistent with other locations. Service is fast and quick. Negative: The interior can be really cold especially in the front. Background music extremely loud, I cannot even hear myself think Owner and staff testing alarms which I understand but why they have to talk to each other at top of their voice? Good place for takeout.......

Dinner in the area? Check. Chatime after dinner? Double-check! This Chatime is conveniently located near Vaughan Mills mall, and even conveniently closer to many dining options. Each time I'm here, there's at least one other patron, but the wait is usually short. There are always empty tables if you want to stick around, but there's always music playing. There is free wifi.

One of the better locations. The lines can be long but the service is pretty fast. The drinks are a little inconsistent sometimes but in general they're not bad. I mostly like this location because it doesn't take me 20-30 minutes just to get a drink. Would recommend if you're shopping around Vaughn Mills and need your bubble tea fix.

3.5 stars... a step up above an average BBT place I can get the hate/love for Chatime ... I've only been to most Chatimes during the slow times and I've never had too much issue with service. This spot has better parking than others but I can see this spot being overwhelmed easily. Consistency is what brings me to Chatime over others. Their drinks are not the best but I know I will get a good Black Pearl milk tea each and every time. The stores itself are hit and miss... this one is medium sized with about 10 tables available. The cleanliness is not the best but it's certainly not the worst like the one at UofT where it's just like student housing. The menu provides a lot of options... I do appreciate how they show you their top 10 so if you're ever stuck, you can't go too wrong with any of those choices. So you like slushies... lots of options. Milk teas... have them all and they're actually tea based. Juices... they're good but they're really not juice. And they have many others. Service today was quick as there was only 1 person before me. To get the drink wasn't so bad... only maybe 5 minutes which is reasonable. Black Pearl Milk Tea - Good tea flavour and the usual that Chatime is known for. I like how this place uses real tea. At half sweet, this was enough to give you that nostalgic Bubble Tea memory without the sugar crash. The pearls was soft but not overcooked. I think Chatime is quite consistent in good pearls. 3.5/5

I really enjoy coming to the Vaughan location. All the staff are so friendly makes me feel like home every time I buy a drink here. Sometime the line can be long but the service is quick so you'll get you drink in no time. Top drinks for me is coconut taro smoothies and original milk tea. I usually get it with less ice and sometime 50% sugar.

Always great customer service and consistency on taste. Can't be beat. Had Milk tea with half sugar and light ice with pearls. Usual go to.

Great Vibe, Disappointing Espresso (from an ex-Barista)…read moreStepped into this spot looking to grab some genuinely good coffee. As an ex-barista, I'm fussy--I hate spending money and not getting a quality product. Unfortunately, the coffee was a swing and a miss. I ordered one iced latte and one hot latte. In both drinks, the espresso was burnt. I actually watched the barista pulling the shots, and I could tell immediately. To make matters worse, the hot drink was barely a latte; it was essentially a cappuccino based on the absurd amount of foam on top. Plus, the milk itself was ruined. There's a certain temperature and texture for steaming milk, and this was clearly burnt milk that had been frothed way too aggressively. Aesthetically, the café is lovely--it's cute and a great spot to work from home. My recommendation? Skip the espresso drinks. Maybe try the matcha or a pastry instead. I definitely won't be back for the coffee.

They had at least 16 different kinds of croissants and danishes. Not including cookies, whole pies and they also serve coffee and loaves of bread. Tiramisu danish was one of their popular items so I got that plus a plain croissant. Wow, the tiramisu was a 10/10! I mean, there was even a piece of ladyfinger soaked in coffee inside the danish! It was unbelievable. It was such a delightful dessert. As for the plain croissant, it was sadly average. It didn't have that crispy, flaky bite I enjoy. Note there is no seating area but there is a counter with a view of the parking lot.

As part of a growing chain with several locations across the city, this particular branch impressed us with both its quality desserts and genuinely friendly service. We came as a group of seven, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, rearranging tables so we could sit together comfortably. It's those little gestures that make a difference, especially when visiting with a larger group. Our top picks here were the Black Sesame Bingsu and the Tiramisu Bingsu. The Black Sesame Bingsu is a perfect option if you prefer desserts that are less sweet and more refined in flavour. The finely shaved ice is generously dusted with black sesame powder and topped with mochi, red bean, almond flakes, and a scoop of black sesame ice cream. The nutty, earthy notes make this one a standout. The Tiramisu Bingsu is just as delightful, with a mini slice of tiramisu perched on top and then chocolate powder, cheese, and a touch of espresso to bring out that classic tiramisu flavour. Rich and satisfying without being too heavy. The bingsu comes in three sizes: cup, small, and large. We went with the large size, which is perfect for sharing and they conveniently provide sharing bowls to make it easy. We also tried the Butter Bung Eo Ppang (a Korean fish-shaped pastry), opting for the salted butter & red bean filling. It was freshly made, warm, and a comforting and delicious side treat that we'd highly recommend trying if you want something a little different. Whether you're stopping by after dinner or looking for a place to chill with friends, this spot hits the mark.

Their salted caramel croissant is beautifully laminated and filled with just the right amount of caramel. That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. My cousin and I arrived shortly after opening on New Year's Eve. The cafe has a small interior with minimal seating, mostly bench seating along the wall with small round coffee tables. Even though there was only one barista working that morning, she was efficient at taking orders and making drinks despite several orders happening at once. We did not feel like we were waiting very long. I ordered a pour-over with the Finca El Paraiso Peach Colombian beans, which use a thermal shock washed process. That was something I had not heard of before. The tasting notes listed nectarine, tropical fruit, and caramel, and it was recommended since I was looking for something more out of the ordinary. I enjoyed the wilder flavor profile, but it was hard to fully appreciate because the coffee tasted overly diluted. The barista mentioned she used a 15g to 250g bean-to-water ratio, which is higher than how I normally enjoy my pour-overs. My cousin ordered a flat white with whole milk that was very creamy with strong espresso notes. We also ordered a matcha latte for my other cousin, which was apparently too creamy. Overall, the beans themselves were good, but the pour-over leaned watery for my personal preference. The bag of beans used for the pour-over was priced at $32, which is only a bit more than double the cost of the pour-over itself. In hindsight, I felt slightly ripped off and should have just bought the beans instead.
