I was in the process of purchasing another truck from this dealership yesterday. I test drove the new truck etc... and submitted my application online. When I checked the next morning to verify my application had been received, they had already sold the truck to someone else. They wasted my time. I cannot recommend this dealership anymore. So, if you are in the process of a purchase and someone else comes along, they would rather sell to, they will sell it out from under you. Very unprofessional. read more

They stayed long after closing for both me and my Niece and my Stepdaughter has brought 2 Ford Focus from them. We now own her first one and it's still going strong and our 2018 Ford Focus we brought brand new!!! read more

Took them around four or five hours to change the oil in my prius. They charged me for a cap assembly that they had to have broken, but they claimed was stripped... however it wasn't so stripped that they didn't break three of their tools on it first. Very unhappy, to add to it they were just rude, from the moment i dropped the car off, to handing me papers for a rental i didn't ask for, to snapping at my husband who picked up our car. read more

STAY AWAY FROM CHATSWORTH FORD: this is Jeff, not a copied and paste post. I know it's long, Please read and share! Ok, I don't say negative things about people, or places of business, but I want to make other people aware. I have been a business owner, in chatsworth for over 15 years now, and I do my best to keep my money in chatsworth, if possible. 7 months ago I decided to buy another Ford truck, to replace my aging f-350. I have owned several fords in my life, including my very first vehicle. I have always considered Ford to be the work force vehicle. The one you see hauling bulldozers, and having tons of rock being poured into the bed. You have all seen the commercials! Now, I also know that you have all heard the bad things about, Chatsworth Ford lately, just like I had. After careful consideration, I went against the warnings, and decided to purchase my truck from this business. Again, I believe in trying to keep money in our county! I was persuaded by my salesman to go with a gas powered, f-250, 4-wheel drive, super duty! Ford has a "lifetime warranty" on their gas burning "work trucks". I bought a slightly used, 11,000 miles, truck, saving the $12,000 cost for the low miles. I still spent $50,000, for this "work truck". I was lied to from the beginning. The first lie was that with my purchase that I would have enough "customer loyalty points", to pay for the custom seat covers to fit my truck. Later, after papers were signed, and the covers were ordered, I found out that the " customer loyalty points" were only good for new vehicles. Salesman said that's not what he was told. Regardless, $500 more dollars out of my pocket. I got over that, and thought, maybe it was a fluke, maybe he didn't know. I know everyone has seen my, Amen Brother Construction trucks, riding around town. They are lettered, and advertise my business. Next thing was, I was told if I lettered my truck, it would void my lifetime warranty. Ok, so now I own a $50,000 "work truck", that I can't use for work! Kinda getting perturbed by this point, but I tried to still be positive. After advise from the salesman, I decided I would have magnetic signs made to advertise. I spent another $250, for signs to be made. Guess what? Magnetic signs, will not stick to an aluminum body, which was a sale point for the truck! At this time, frustrated, and getting steadily more mad,I decided the advertisement was more important then the lifetime warranty! I was ensured, and told repeatedly that I would still have the 36,000 mile bumper ro bumper warranty, and the 100,000 drive train warranty, with all Ford "work trucks"! I continued to take the vehicle to, chatsworth Ford, for service, trying to be sure that the warranty would be intact. Well at 37,800 miles, my fuel pump went out. Had to have it towed to chatsworth Ford. $ 75 tow bill, out of pocket, because I canceled my roadside service, what, with my new "work truck", and all. Why would I need that? I went to pick up my truck, after they finished fixing it, only to discover that I was over the 36,000 mile warranty, by 1,700 miles. Luckily, the 100,000 mile was still in effect. All I had to do with this one, was pay the $100 deductible. Although, I thought they would do this to make up for the other cost that I incurred. They didn't if course! Well 3 weeks ago, I went to pick up some vinyl plank flooring. Approximately 25 boxes, which was a total of 427 pounds. It was wrapped and on a pallet. I have a tool box and a ladder rack attached to my truck, so the pallet had to sit about 4 inches on the tailgate, with the gate down. As soon as we got in the truck, I heard a small scraping sound, as we pulled out. I went about a mile down the road, and decided to stop and investigate. Couldn't see anything, checked everything I thought out could be. Got back in the truck, and went about 6 more miles, before the back drive axle broke, fell out from under my truck. Had to call a tow truck to come get the truck again! After 2 weeks of my truck being in the shop, and me calling everyday, and being told waiting on parts, don't have a rack to put it on, ect. I finally called on a Thursday, and was told it was finally ready. I went to pick up the truck, and was informed that it would not be warranted, under the 100,000 mile drive train warranty, due to the fact that I had the 400 pounds loaded improperly! now this is a "work truck" that will supposedly hold 4700 lbs in the bed, while pulling 14,000 pounds on its tow hitch, which is completely on the back of the truck. Nobody informed me before I arrived, out of the 10 calls I made in 2 weeks, that I would be responsible for the $1,400, it cost to have it fixed. Wasnt asked if I had money to pay for the work, if I wanted the work to continue, if I wanted another opinion, nothing. Just told I didn't have a choice, pay for it, or go without a vehicle! Horrible place. Ruined my dash. Multiple scratches and gouges made when they took it out to do an ac repair. Showed service manager He said he would replace it, put me off several months telling me he needed to get to end of quaRter to get his goodwill funds. Then they said they would have it fixed. In dealer speak, for those who do not know that means heat gun, sand paper, and spray paint. Having been in tHe dealership service business for nearly 30 years , I can tell you that the "repairs" NEVER hold up. I feel that if THEY butchered my $46000 truck , which has been babied its whole life they should replace the damaged part. Like their service manager Tomas, whom I have known almost 30 years said they would. They refuse, act like Im the one who did something wrong. Only thing I did wrong was not taking it to the Ford dealer that is literally 3 mins from my work. I gave them the chance too do the right thing. It will cost them way more if this goes too the court system. They are advertising like crazy locally. Trying to get customers in. Spending all that money.
