My husband trains with me two times a week. Any infirmities we are blessed with are always taken into consideration with special modifications, so don't worry about aches and pains. The location can be a bit confusing to find if you are unfamiliar with the area, as its located in the back of the Tannery Row building (but the GPS brings you to the front). I signed up for the introductory Private Pilates Package which allows me 5 Private Pilates sessions for $200. I have never taken a Pilates class in my life, so I was a bit nervous and intimidated. I joined for a trail month, and plan on continuing the three months I'll be here for work. I also have only tried hot classes, I look forward to trying the other classes! One suggestion I would make. I've been working with Diannah for over a year now. Had done Pilates before. This time I chose…read moreDiannah's Pilates after fracturing my neck and wrist while mountain biking. I just felt like she knew more about my core than a regular physical therapist, and I was right! She was able to start me at the most basic level, that I never thought I would have to begin at, and it was perfect. She has such a knowledge of how the body moves, and needs to move, and so many ways to modify any movement or exercise. She's really good at meeting you at your level, and knowing when to push you just a little bit more to get beyond it. I have come so far in my recovery! I am now able to do almost everything I used to do, which was a lot. I can now do physical work, backpack, bicycle, run, motorcycle, play disc golf again, etc. Everyone else I know who has had these type of injuries has needed at least 2-3 years to get back to what they felt was normal. And I didn't have to go through any painful, dry needling or any other of that intense therapy. With just one session a week, the only additional work I've done is to engage my core when I'm being active, lots of self massage in the beginning and stretching now with essential oils. Also, full disclosure, I've had occasional Reiki and monthly Network chiropractic. I am by no means an ideal client, nor am I obsessed with Pilates. Kinda wish I was, 'cause I'd be that much stronger, but I'm actually pretty lazy and just busy with everything else in my life! I can see that as strong as I've become, there is still plenty of room for even more improvement, and Diannah has a lot more to offer me. I totally credit Diannah's Pilates work with a huge part of my recovering my life again! She's also a great conversationalist, which after more than a year of regular sessions, makes her still really nice to still be around!

I have NEVER had such a frustrating experience with a fitness studio. I arrived only four minutes…read morelate, entirely due to the studio's lack of communication. I called multiple times before class started and no one answered, and there were no instructions or signage indicating where to enter. The doors were locked, leaving me standing outside unsure of what to do. When someone finally came to the door, I was met with an extremely rude response and told I was not allowed to join the class and should instead "reserve" (and pay for) the 6:00 PM class. This was especially frustrating considering it took me over 35 minutes to get there, and the delay was caused by their own failure to provide basic directions or answer the phone. Poor communication, locked doors, and dismissive staff made this a complete waste of time (1.5+ hours of driving and swearing). I would not recommend this studio to anyone.

Owner, Lori Denton, is so sweet and instructs weekly at this studio (she owns/operates multiple yoga/pilates studios around the area). Her classes are fantastic for all levels, and will teach you so much about your practice and how to continue growing and pushing yourself further. It's a beautiful space with plenty of reformers and cubby space for personal belongings. I attend the reformer "power" and "sculpt" pilates classes, and I always leave feeling more aligned and like I got the best full body workout. I also highly recommend taking Melissa's classes. She is amazing! It's hard to find instructors who are truly there to watch your form closely and correct any positioning while offering modifications, and Melissa always makes sure to connect with every person in the class and she's also super encouraging which will inspire you to push beyond your boundaries.
