I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome a few years ago, and I couldn't trust my body to do basis tasks. There were so many things I would avoid doing, because my body seemed so fragile. I literally lived in fear. When I started at Body By Design, I was scared that I might injure myself but the trainers made me feel at ease by ensuring me that these exercises were the best way to prevent injury. Not only do I not experience TOS symptoms anymore, I am able to use my body like I used to! These trainers have given me my life back and I am very grateful. It's a beautiful space with plenty of reformers and cubby space for personal belongings. I attend the reformer "power" and "sculpt" pilates classes, and I always leave feeling more aligned and like I got the best full body workout. I also highly recommend taking Melissa's classes. She is amazing! It's hard to find instructors who are truly there to watch your form closely and correct any positioning while offering modifications, and Melissa always makes sure to connect with every person in the class and she's also super encouraging which will inspire you to push beyond your boundaries.

I called multiple times before class started and no one answered, and there were no instructions or signage indicating where to enter. The doors were locked, leaving me standing outside unsure of what to do. When someone finally came to the door, I was met with an extremely rude response and told I was not allowed to join the class and should instead "reserve" (and pay for) the 6:00 PM class. This was especially frustrating considering it took me over 35 minutes to get there, and the delay was caused by their own failure to provide basic directions or answer the phone. Poor communication, locked doors, and dismissive staff made this a complete waste of time (1.5+ hours of driving and swearing). I would not recommend this studio to anyone.

They are both so friendly and welcoming! After just one visit I was greeted by name every time after that! They have about 10 different teachers although I have not had a chance to take classes with all of them. But two of my favorites are Betsy and BeAnne. They have two completely different styles of teaching but both are fun and challenging! The studio is very clean and has natural light from the many windows. The best part is that they have mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks, everything you need for class all to use free of charge! My only complaint is that they don't have a place to refill water bottles. Yes, they have the bathroom sink and they sell dasani water but I would really like a water fountain or any filtered water area outside of the bathroom. In the large scheme of things this isn't a make it or break it thing buuuuut I figured I would mention it :) Overall this is a great studio and I've already bought a class package as I will be a frequent customer!

I was introduced to Svaroopa yoga here and definitely became a fan. I have also taken Hatha with Kim and she is a great teacher as well. They are welcoming to people of all levels and abilities so don't feel intimidated if it is your first time taking yoga. I've taken class with men & women in their 60's to high school boys who were taking Hatha as an addition to the training regimen. Plus, if you are in the Roswell/Alpharetta area the location is great - downtown Roswell with plenty of parking.

I was given a card to try a free class in a specific month and called this location, which is closer to where I live. It's been open since October of 2020. The owner Kim is very nice. Before I went in for my first session, I called them, and I was able to try a session there. They were so nice about it and sent me a reminder text the day before to confirm I was still coming. When I went in, Kim showed me around the facility and spoke to me about the benefits and how things work. It's accessible 24x7 and has certain hours staffed. Unstaffed hours there is a help device and a couple of neck ones you can wear with you in case of an emergency. There's a monthly membership option ($59 unlimited classes) and an option to pay for a set amount of classes (4 or 8) that you can use anytime. You have to purchase a mat and towel from them ($99). These are made to not melt or release any toxins, which is the reason why. The location is great and easy to find. It's in a plaza with other business and plenty enough parking. One thing I'd point out is that the ceilings are not too high inside the exercise sauna pods. I'm 5'7 and I did the yoga, and when i had to stretch my arms, they were almost touching the ceiling. It's so rare to see a business like this continue to grow, and yet continue to improve their relationships with the community the way they do here. The owner, Sheila, is constantly offering new workshops and retreats, bringing in guest instructors from all over the world, and creating exciting additions to our practice. From Basic Yoga classes to Hot Power Flow, Restorative to Yin, Tai Chi, and Meditation, this studio has it all. I love the ability to sign up for a class ahead of time and purchase class packages in the Mind Body app or website. The studio is always nice and clean, and they offer water and hot tea in the waiting area. They also have a nice retail selection with yoga mats, jewelry, candles, and some awesome apparel from brands I love like Alo and Spiritual Gangster. The vibes here are always welcoming and full of love, whether you've been coming for years or are brand new. Tons of options for those just venturing into a yoga practice AND very advanced yogis.
