He had a rare condition on top of his asthma and allergy issues that made his symptoms worse. She had a wider range of doctor to refer us to which led us to the correct treatment pathway. She became more of an expert in my sons condition after she began treating him and helped guide us with his drs in Atlanta. I appreciate her desire to help us instead of send us on our way to another Dr. she really wanted to help us find a solution. When we did he had rare issues with his asthma. She is very open to alternatives to medicine which i appreciated as well. I would highly recommend her. She also prays with us at our request which was very uplifting

So when I finally found something that was helping, it took a lot of convincing to get her to go. She did some research and decided to see Ed Fox. He wasn't familiar with her condition. That's fine. We're used to that. What she was asking for is Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) to help treat the chronic pain, among other things. He told her it's a controlled substance and that he'd need authorization, so he'd get back to her. It's not a controlled substance. In fact, had he done a five second google search, he'd have seen it's kind of the opposite. It's an opioid antagonist and is used in its normal dose to treat opioid and alcohol addiction. But he didn't do that. He also didn't check with others in his practice and get back to her like he said he would. If you have a cold, you're probably fine going here. If you're looking for a doctor that will actually do what he says, cares about your issues, and will look into things you bring up--this is not your guy. Now I have to try and convince my mom to try again. And it's going to be harder than it was this last time.
