This company has gone out of its way to satisfy customers for years! Two generations of this family owned business work hard to handle printing, binding, and file conversions for some of Chattanooga's finest architects, engineers, and students. He used to go to Art Creations sometimes so I thought I'd stop in while doing my weekly stroll through the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised that the store wasn't freezing on this cold winter day. The store is on the smaller side but not tiny. I briefly mentioned to the manager working why I stopped in and he replied that he had my Dad as a professor. A reoccurring response that brings me extra joy in my hometown. Art Creations is a well supplied store of artist supplies for drawing, painting, etching, and other visual artist mediums. Each section of the walls is lined with colorful, reliable, and unique options. Each store section is clearly labeled. Besides different types of paints, inks, and brushes, they have different types and sizes of canvas as well as handmade papers. They also have really cool pens, journals, and blank card sets. The staff are friendly and willing to answer any questions. I was curious what artist created the blank card sets I was looking at. This store supports any creative mind's interests.

Most of the items are Chattanooga themed and make a great souvenir or gift. There is no dedicated parking that we could find but there is some street parking. Do not park in the Walgreens or you may get towed. There is also parking at the nearby park. The staff was friendly and the prices were what you'd expect. Overall, I love this idea and would rather support local artists than some multi million dollar corporation.

I did however like the croissants I purchased but on the flip side the five cookies were meh. So more was bad than good. The other vendors I purchased from were wonderful. Eggs, bone-in pork chops, ground beef , dog treats (chicken claws) three types of greens, arugula, Bibb and romaine, and a frozen chicken were some of the things I purchased. I did notice only one vendor had fruit, strawberries, which sold out quickly. The next time I go I hope there is more to choose from. I will definitely return.

As I started making a pile of them for a school play, the lady brought me a buggy. The sweet cashier even gave me a discount for buying 18 of them. Pop's and Granny's Saved the Day and the Play!
